To begin with, this is not my first trip to Egypt.
There is something to compare, I saw different options 5 * I came to this hotel for the first time. In winter, the hotel is not suitable for children, due to strong winds in this part in winter.
Check-in: at check-in, the $ 10 put in the passport helped to get a room with a central location relative to the entire hotel and with a sea view. Those who did not put anything in their passports most often found themselves near the water park (the edge of the territory) and on the first floors.

Room: upon check-in, the kettle, the lock on the balcony and the light in the corridor did not work in the room. Within 15 minutes after calling the reception, they came and everything was decided (despite the fact that it was night). The beds are very comfortable, the room is very clean, there is all the necessary furniture. The TV is not very good (old and caught only a couple of channels). The bathroom had all the necessary accessories (disposable shampoos, gels, soaps), which were updated every day. The tea and coffee set was also replenished every day + bottled water was replenished every day in the room.
Staff: unemotional, not very talkative, but doing their job well. In this hotel, for the first time, I saw staff who would not follow on their heels and would not beg for a tip. Also, unlike many other hotels, the staff is extremely reserved in dealing with female tourists.
Cleaning: cleaning is daily and of high quality, regardless of the presence / absence of a tip (tried both options). Every day they brought flowers to the room (they put them in the bathroom), sprinkled the figures from towels on the bed with petals.
Theft: did not encounter this. I didn't even use the safe. Everything remained in its place. From the tourists with whom they communicated, I also did not hear such complaints.
Animation: international animation team, interesting guys. Of course, there was no mega show, but in general they organized very interesting daytime / evening programs. They try very hard.
Territory: very large, clean, well-groomed. With a successful settlement - everything is a three-minute walk from the room (whether it's a water park, or reception or the sea). We had building C.
Pools: I also liked it very much, the water park is not very big, but with enough slides for both children and adults (5 adults and 4-5 children) In each pool (both for kids and adults) there is a lifeguard on duty + two additional ones on adult slides .
Sea: so-so. The entrance to the sea is shallow, you have to go very far through the water to reach the depth. We didn't even go to the beach. We entered from the pier. Fishing is also difficult. We saw a couple, but wanted more. There is also a lifeguard on duty at the pier.
Meals: a lot of meat, fish, seafood cooked a couple of times, a large selection of salads, desserts. They cook delicious. Alcohol: local, but also the choice (as for me) was enough.
Hotel guide: I didn’t go to meet him on principle. I didn’t fall for the talks about the need to go to him, since he registers foreigners. So we never met him.

Excursions: booked online from local agencies and 5 times cheaper than a hotel guide. Buses of "external" travel agencies drop into the hotel without any problems to pick up / bring tourists.
Check out from the hotel: went quickly. Lunch boxes were prepared for the tourists, but they were not offered, but were given out only to those who asked (despite the fact that all the boxes were already prepared and stood at the reception). That is, those who did not know about such an opportunity could easily not get them. What was the trick here - remained a mystery to me.
Shops at the hotel: almost everything is much cheaper in them than in tourist markets.
In general, if the presence of fish in the sea is not the main factor, then the hotel is very, very good.
