We rested in Egypt 5 times, there is something to compare, so I definitely recommend the hotel.
This time our vacation turned out to be spontaneous, at the last moment we decided to celebrate the New Year in Egypt. The hotel was chosen quickly, the reviews were not particularly read. The main wishes in the travel agency were good food, active animation and the first line by the sea. We did not fail with the choice of the hotel, although the first impression was ambiguous, the hotel needs renovation, but the very next day they did not pay any attention to it. We arrived at the hotel at about 11:00, the check-in was quick and an hour later we were in the room, took into account our wishes and settled us closer to the sea, room 2431, for which we are very grateful to the reception staff. The room stock is outdated and needs renovation, but everything you need was there, small problems that arose for technical reasons were resolved very quickly, there was always hot water. In general, the friendliness of the staff smoothes out all the shortcomings.
Wi-fi paid, bought a local Vodafone sim at the airport. The hotel area is very beautiful, large, green, many locations for photos, there is a small water park and a heated pool, but we were there only once, since we arrived at the seaside.
Sea:
The beach is sandy, huge, there were enough umbrellas and sun loungers, there are fences from the wind. Entry into the sea: a stationary pontoon, there are two descents to different depths, the bottom is sandy, we did not need corals. It is also possible to enter from the shore with small children. For the entire period of rest, we swam every day, the water temperature was 23-24 *. On the beach there is a bar with drinks and snacks (hamburgers, pizza, fries and much more) for fast food lovers a big plus, but we always ate at the restaurant.
Nutrition:
There are two main restaurants, one of which is for adults only, and 3 a la carte restaurants by appointment. At the expense of food, everything is very worthy, the range of dishes is large, there are always several types of meat, fish, fresh vegetables, a large selection of desserts, but I would like more fruit. I can’t say anything about alcohol, I didn’t take it, but as I saw it was in unlimited quantities. I liked that there was a seating arrangement for dinner.
Animation:
The atmosphere in the hotel creates a team of animators. For us, as active tourists, this is very important, from 10 am to night, various activities continue: exercises, belly dancing, Latino, yoga, club games, beach football and volleyball, boccia, darts, there is also children's animation. Everyone is trying very hard, a team of about 10 animators, I would especially like to mention the main animator Khim, as well as Max, very good and funny guys. Thank you so much, you made our holiday unforgettable! In the evening they are always invited to the amphitheater for various comedy shows or with guest artists, it was a lot of fun. Further, if desired, there is a disco at the hotel or you can go to the club.

New Year
Separately, I would like to express my gratitude for the organization of the New Year, everything was gorgeous, the New Year's dinner is beyond praise (seafood, fruits, desserts are all perfect), and then a party and a disco, everything was atmospheric and fun. It was the best New Year, which will be remembered for a long time.
In general, the impression of the hotel was only positive. The main criterion in hotels for me is whether I want to come back here again, the Regency is definitely "YES", the price-quality ratio is perfect. We will be back soon and will recommend to friends! See you at Regency Plaza!
