Отдых удался! Vacation was a success!

After a long 10 years after the first trip, UIA again smoothly transferred me and my wife from Kharkov to Sharm (we rested from February 26 to March 7.21). By the way, upon arrival, we were not given a ladder for 20 minutes and we were waiting for the police (all this because of two inadequate young ladies who ignored the remarks of the flight attendants). But these are all trifles. We passed the control quickly, then the Tui bus, and around 7 pm we were brought to the Regency Plaza Hotel. At the reception, nice young people gave an excellent room on the leeward side and a partial sea view (no one extorted anything, he himself gave a small present).
The room is large, the bed is clean, the safe is working, the bathroom is normal. 4 towels and 2 beach towels in the room (changed upon request), electric kettle, tea, coffee, drinking water all the time. At first there were few people in the hotel, but then they arrived. Rest mainly Ukrainians, Kazakhs and Belarusians. Regarding the beach: I really liked it! A wide coastline, a lot of sun loungers, everything is free at 8-9 in the morning, soft sand, entry into the sea from the shore is very convenient for children and those who cannot swim. There and waist and chest and neck (and not knee-deep as in neighboring hotels). The sun stays until the last, buildings do not interfere with its sunset, this is also a plus. The purest turquoise water of 22-25 degrees and this is the end of February! There is a pontoon 200 meters with two comfortable stairs into the water. The depth from the pontoon is about 2 meters, at low tide in the afternoon you can already stand. There is no reef here, but it is 300 meters away on the Albatross pontoon, the entrance to the pontoon is no problem (but they don’t have such a beach from the shore as in Regency).
The territory of the hotel is large, green and pleasant. On the territory there is a water park (several slides) and a heated pool. Three days out of nine it was quite windy, swimming in the pool. Bliss! In terms of nutrition, only positive emotions, a large selection of dishes, for lunch and dinner, several types of meat and always fish. For dessert, a bunch of cakes, eclairs, dates, melon, orange. The beach bar also serves hamburgers, hot dogs and chips. Alcohol is like everywhere else, we hardly drink. Poured not goofed. Drinks Pepsi, Mirinda, 7up licensed; there is a coffee machine. In general, everything is good.

As for the weather: it was around 24-27 degrees, sometimes a little windy, still Nabka. From winter to summer is a fairy tale. The hotel staff is very friendly, no one hints at a tip, everyone is always with a smile, I liked the cleaning, they spun swans)) We didn’t go to meet the guide, we didn’t take excursions. A couple of times we went under our own power to the old city for shrimp and strawberries. Although on the right a stone's throw from the hotel across the road there is a market and enough fruit. And a kilometer to the left of the hotel metro and duty free (within 48 hours after arrival, you can buy imported alcohol there). Once again in the evening we walked along the promenade through the neighboring hotels to the very edge of charm to the Barcelo hotel, its beach, and the hotel itself was more luxurious. But there are beautiful views of the mountains.
In general, the vacation was a success, and Zhenya liked it (this is her first trip to Egypt) and me; and if you ask me if I would like to return to Regency Plaza 5, then I will say "Yes, with pleasure. " Behind a cool beach, behind a clear sea and behind a very cozy atmosphere!! !
