To begin with, we were in Egypt for the first and last time..... We planned to relax in Turkey, but for the period from 07/27/12 to 08/09/12 everything was already sold out, therefore, by agreement of travel agencies, a ticket to Egypt was purchased.
The hotel was chosen according to the following criteria:
5*, 1 line, mandatory presence of a children's pool, "aqua park", a variety of European meals, the "all inclusive" system.
And so the accommodation: upon arrival at the hotel (8 am), the receptionist did not pay attention to us, at 10:00 he began to respond to requests for early check-in, the road from Irkutsk took 15 hours, the state of falling and subsiding, there is no need to talk about children, in general, rednecks with a recipe. they began to check in Russian tourists after 11:00 and only for banknotes invested in the passport... Our indignation knew no bounds when we found out that the hotel was full of free rooms, I basically did not give money to goons. (in real 5 * they value reputation and if there are free places, they will definitely settle). We were settled in room 3313... you should have seen it....in the room the stench of dichlorvos, all the furniture was broken, in the toilet as in our public ones, in general, judging by everything we saw, we rated the hotel at 2+.
After what they saw, they were forced to return to the counter in a semi-conscious state, where the previously settled compatriots were already noisily "talking", it was clear from the conversation that our number was not unique : -). I tracked down the Pegasus representative and "strongly requested" to resolve the situation. After 5 min. the hotel guide arrived - Nina, who tried to tell us that the service in all 5 * Sharma is the same....Not succumbing to the experienced story, we nevertheless "convinced" her that we would now start calling Russia and try to resolve the issue there .
Then Nina took our side, and after a short conversation with the Rednecks, we were offered several options for accommodation...
By the way, the money was returned to the compatriots after that)))
Next, we chose room 3111, which differed from the previous one - the lack of smell and a fresher look, but far from acceptable, but there was no paid extra. bed (a separate topic).
Accommodation: no tip was left in principle, and believe me, this did not change anything.
Water, as well as bathroom accessories, was forgotten to be brought daily, which we did not forget to remind at the reception.
Now nutrition is separate: There are no fruits except for bananas and green oranges... 2 times in two weeks they brought a melon, they made me laugh....the melon is simply without taste...
We "spoiled" ourselves with a variety of meals in different restaurants on site, which you can go to for dinner after choosing the time and cuisine, I liked the Indian and Chinese cuisine. It is best to sign up 3-4 days in advance (no obligation, but you have an adventure for the evening).
In the first 2 days, full plates were laid, but as it turned out, not all that glitters is gold... in the end, corny white rice + boiled beef. I almost forgot, the main thing after dinner is 100 grams of duty free whiskey or vodka, then there is a chance from a childish surprise. I personally saved myself with Tabasco sauce; you can find it on the dispensing table. Believe me, I'm not exaggerating, but first-aid kits are half empty by the end of the vacation, diarrhea medicine is the best currency : -) take more! Andrey, a doctor from Tyumen, who confirmed the infectious danger of food and water from pools, is with us at the holiday hotel. A lot has been written about not perfectly clean glasses, I’ll add my own know-how - in the morning I ordered 2 glasses of beer at the counter, which I independently subjected to scrupulous cleaning by some local "fary", after which I asked to pour drinks into this dish)))) funny, but it's true. You can see for yourself how the dishes are washed in bars, no way! Doused with water or ala clean dishes.
Beer connoisseurs: I personally really liked draft beer, I emphasize draft beer (called SAKKARA), I tried bottled beer of the same brand at the beach pool bar, dust, although as they say it tastes and color....
I was warned by kind people in my homeland, and I did not forget to stock up on dried fish for beer, respect to these people, because in all of Egypt I did not see edible food for beer. It was nice to surprise (treat) compatriots and not only, fish is needed, like medicines...

Do not try to sit on camels, take pictures with them, all this is already a scam!! ! With us, one couple gave a Bedouin 100 bucks!! ! for getting off the camel... THIS IS TRUE. The same will happen with the camera, which fell into the hands of an aborigine. In short, an obstacle course. But even so, subject to these rules, you need to watch 100% once!
