I have just returned from Egypt and while my impressions are still fresh, I want to write a couple of lines about my stay at the Regency Plaza Hotel.
The overall impression of the hotel is very good. To begin with, the hotel accommodation was organized within two hours (almost an hour of which we had breakfast), and also taking into account the fact that we arrived at 06:30. The guys at the reception are very professional, at any hour of the day or night they can solve any problem. You can communicate in Russian, almost everyone speaks it well. But since I speak English well, and given that they still know it better than Russian, I spoke it all the time. In general, we must pay tribute - almost all the sellers in the hotel, the staff at the reception, the guides speak at least three foreign languages.
Double deluxe room - normal, spacious (we had a sea view), with a spacious balcony and a bathroom.
Towels were changed daily, sheets every other day (which is absolutely acceptable for us), water and gel/shampoo replenished daily. They said that there are two Russian channels - we found only one - the first (and we didn’t really look for it, one was quite enough).
The food is very good - a wide variety of dishes. Fish is served daily in a different form, sometimes other seafood (squid, crabs) came across. Spaghetti and pasta are prepared in front of you with a sauce of products that you can choose yourself. Similarly, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs are cooked in front of you. Locally produced wine tastes good. Everything else (alcohol) was not tried. A large number of vegetables, fruits, and of course just a huge number of desserts for every taste, able to satisfy the taste of any gourmet.
The waiters are great guys, always friendly, courteous, always there in case you need something.
The territory of the hotel is very green, well-groomed, clean.
You can only see people in green overalls, how they swarmed all day long - they cut the lawn, clean dry leaves, etc.
There are 3 pools (we wrote about them in detail in previous reviews), I cannot write much - because I have always been on the beach.
The beach is sandy, without a pontoon. You will not see corals there - you need to go to a wild beach for this - it's 20 minutes to the left. There were often not enough sunbeds - but this is only due to the fact that people can simply leave their towels and pack their things and go somewhere, thereby reserving seats. People, please give others the opportunity to rest.
The animation is good - the guys are doing aqua aerobics, belly dancing, just aerobics to the music. In the evening after dinner - songs in English and French, belly dances performed by Arab dancers, then a disco with various competitions and shows.
Everything described above is purely my opinion and may differ from others.
