We rested from 10/31/2013 to 11/10/2013 three of us: me, my mother and my son, 11 years old. The tour was taken from Pegasus.
The organization at the airport went without any hitches, they took us to the hotel in fifteen minutes - our hotel was the second, it is not far away. Check-in was quick while waiting for the keys to the room brought soft drinks, all in friendly colors. Looking ahead, I will say that in general the attitude is very friendly for any category of staff. After we were given the keys, cards for beach towels and an information sheet, our suitcases were picked up by a hotel worker and led us to our room. We have been “buying” for this for several times already, it’s just that when you get off the road, you get a little stupid, as a result, they took 5 dollars from us for “delivery”. The only thing that calms us is that on the way the employee showed us the territory of the hotel, explained where, what and how.
The hotel area is very large, it has its own beach, several swimming pools, a good water park, several restaurants, a club, shops, a spa, a children's room, several playgrounds. In general, the hotel has everything for a good rest, if it weren’t for excursions, then you don’t have to leave the hotel territory.

We took a room with a sea view, building A, number 1224, to be honest, it was possible to save a lot by taking a standard room, because. the view from the window is about the same for everyone - as such, I did not see the sea from the window of the room, only a small fragment, the only thing is walking distance to the beach. But in the end, we didn’t really need the sea, because. the son preferred the water park, and it’s decent to go to him from our building.
The cleaning in the room is beyond reproach, every day they changed bedding and towels, everything is clean, they twisted the swans three times, they didn’t bother with cleaning, you’ll say that after 10 minutes they don’t bother. Water is supplied regularly. The only drawback, either a shortage, or a terrible economy of soap accessories, until you say - they won’t put it on the basis of two. I still remember how on the second day, having discovered that we had been “forgotten” to put shampoo-gels in, I went to fetch them myself, because I didn't take anything from home. The worker, not at all embarrassed, takes obviously used tubes from his gurney, I think before that they were in the urn, pours some unknown things into them from bottles and hands them to me with a sense of accomplishment. Needless to say, I had to go to the supermarket and buy everything that I did not want to bring from home.
The rooms themselves are quite good, not small, the balcony is huge, there is a hairdryer, TV (not plasma), refrigerator, safe. The furniture is not new.
Nutrition. We mostly ate in the main restaurant, the food is very good, for 5. The food is varied, designed for every taste. I read in the reviews that there are not enough fruits - we had oranges, grapes, pomegranates, melons, guava, bananas. Baking - the sea. We don’t drink alcohol, I can’t say about the quality, but I saw that it was also for every taste. In addition to the main restaurant, there is an Italian one, an Indian one on the beach and a seafood restaurant, bars throughout the territory. The only thing is that at breakfast there was always a queue for omelettes and pancakes, but we must pay tribute to the chefs, they cooked quickly. There are a lot of staff in the restaurant, they cleaned quickly.

By the way, my son had a birthday at the time of our stay, in the morning a hotel employee brought him an envelope with a letter, where the child was congratulated and invited to the main restaurant at 19-00. After we gave the coupon, which was enclosed in an envelope, when we were already sitting at the table, about five restaurant workers came out with a tambourine and songs and brought a very tasty cake with a candle. Since we were leaving for Israel at 19-40, we could not cover the entire program, upon arrival we were prepared a personal dinner in the main restaurant, and the next day in an Indian restaurant. The son still remembers a very pleasant touching attitude.
I didn’t really like the beach - the sunbeds are far from new, it’s very far to go to the depth, we didn’t see waves as such, we don’t feel the feeling of the sea, I want to hear the sound of the surf. The beach and water are clean.
Did not like the water in the pools - terribly cold, no heating. The same goes for the water park. Slides worked all on schedule, the child is very pleased.
A lot of animation, which is not only there, and sports events, and entertainment for children, and discos, pleasant live music in the evening, which made the rest even more comfortable.
In addition to the cold water in the pools, another minus is paid wi-fi. I don't think it's worth it for five stars. On the advice of a previous vacationer at the travel agency "Viktor", I took a local SIM card, at a good speed and, most importantly, worked inexpensively on the Internet.

As for the excursions, again, on the advice of the previous vacationer, I took all the excursions "At Victor". When I read it before leaving, I thought it was advertising. In fact, it turned out that his prices were actually an order of magnitude lower than even those of the locals, good organization, they took exactly as much as indicated on the receipt, Victor himself came and controlled each trip. A very calm and polite guy, which noticeably stands out among the local "molesters". We took a two-day Israel-Jordan trip from him for $ 280, we are very satisfied, good buses and guides. Three times we went on ATVs to the desert. The first time in the evening with dinner in the Bedouin village, a telescope, camels (if I'm not mistaken 55 dollars), but since I had a force majeure (the headlights did not work), however, the ATV was immediately replaced, the next day, apologizing, they offered a free individual safari I chose morning. Amazing, better than a group. The guide was Tito, for two hours I followed him through the desert, again tea in the Bedouin village, in general, for a birthday with a child, we again took an individual tour in the morning (25 dollars). Great!
I liked it on a yacht in Ros-Mukhamet ($30), and most of all I was impressed by the show "1001 Nights" ($20). Super! Victor himself drove us and a few other people, conducted a survey of Sharm el-Sheikh for free, took us to the singing fountains, to the market in the old city, showed us the mosque and stopped by the Orthodox church, I recommend visiting there.
I really liked the bathyscaphe, not only us, everyone likes it, you can see all the beauty of the underwater world (40 USD)
They took tickets to another water park, a new one at the hotel ($ 30), they barely pulled the child out of there, she rolled herself with pleasure.
We went to the Turkish bath, a bit far, the cost of the program for 2 hours is 50 dollars. The institution itself is so-so, but they did all the procedures with high quality.
On the last night I took excursions to Mount Moses + St. Catherine's Monastery, or rather I didn’t take it, Victor presented it for free, because I took all tours from him. Probably it is difficult to call it an excursion, most likely it is a pilgrimage trip. All night they climbed the mountain of Moses, they climbed, you can’t call it otherwise. If it weren’t for our guide (in our opinion, Misha, I recently saw his photo on the Internet), who relieved the situation with his hilarious jokes, we probably wouldn’t have climbed, it’s very hard. The stone steps along which we climbed there are very reminiscent of the film "The Lord of the Rings". On the way there were those who stopped, threw tantrums, came back. But having risen to a height of 2400 m and seeing the dawn, you forget about all the hardships. Well, the monastery of St. Catherine, it is worth seeing with your own eyes what is said in biblical traditions.
In general, the holiday was a success, the hotel left the most good and kind impressions despite some drawbacks, if you are with children, I recommend it.
