Rested with a friend from 04/08/2010 to 04/15/2010. Previously, they had already been to Sharm twice in excellent fives, now, in a crisis, they decided to find out what a four is.
I really liked the territory - everything is green, flowering, very well-groomed. Several pools, around are sun loungers, umbrellas, showers. There is a pool with a slide for kids, swings. There are also two high slides for older children and adults. The territory seems to be stretched along the road, on the one hand the reception, on the other the main restaurant (canteen) and in the next room a disco. From start to finish 5-7 minutes walk. The buildings are two-three-story, located along the perimeter of the territory, in my opinion all the rooms have balconies, some are twined with flowering lianas - beauty. There is a road in front of the hotel - behind the Rehana-five road - then the beach and the sea.
ROOM. We got room 880 on the third floor in the building next to the reception, the balcony seemed to be a corner one - it looked at the wasteland with one side, and with the other at the top five, beyond which the sea was clearly visible. We decided that a wasteland and the sea are better than a disco nearby, and we stayed there. The room is standard, everything is good, no junk, everything was present and working, there was always hot water. They cleaned and changed towels every day, the bed was never changed, I was surprised that the towels and the bed had a gray tint, traces of someone else's lipstick were also found on the bed, I think that it is quite possible that the bed was "forgotten" to wash after the previous tenants. I think this is the only, albeit significant, drawback of our room.

There were really a lot of mosquitoes in the room and for the first two days we went completely bitten and could not understand where they were hiding, on the third day we found it - on dark wood boards, which, according to the design idea, closed the air conditioner, in general, there was a hunt at midnight, I would have been successful she said, since all the other nights she slept absolutely calmly and no one bit anymore.
BEACH. Beach towels are issued on the territory of the four, from the four to the territory of the five there is an underground passage under the road, a nice tunnel, then 5-7 minutes along the path to the beach, you can drive up by minibus. The beach is common to the cherverka and the five, there is no division. It is forbidden to enter the sea from the shore (there are hedgehogs, moray eels, stingrays and other animals, which it is better not to step on for your own and their safety), there is a good stationary bridge, from which, like everywhere else in Sharm, you get to the depth behind the reef. There were no problems with the steps, there were no entrances and exits, except for the fact that for some reason many of our brothers and sisters hang on these steps and do not allow others to enter and exit. Who does not know how to swim well - go to Hurghada, Sharm is good because you can swim and look at corals and fish. The coral reef was superb, there was almost no current, snorkeling took place with great pleasure. One but. Out of the seven days we were there, three were terribly windy, three were downright windy, and there was only one day of calm weather when the beach was truly bliss. On this day, by ten in the morning, there were no free sunbeds on the beach at all.
Animators worked, constantly invited to water aerobics, water polo, yoga, volleyball, or something else. There were also some programs for children.
NUTRITION. As far as I understand, there are two systems - all inclusive (from 10.00 to 22.00 or until 24.00, I don’t remember exactly) and ultra all inclusive - around the clock. Since I can’t drink locally produced drinks at any time of the day, I personally didn’t care what system I had. Breakfast for everyone from 7 to 10, lunch from 13 to 15, dinner from 19 to 22. The choice of dishes is quite sufficient so as not to remain hungry even with my extensive list of foods that I do not eat or eat only if I really want to eat. Every time a lot of vegetables, fruits, yogurt-omelets-sausages in the morning, fish-chicken-meat in the afternoon and evening. Of course, a four is a four, if you are gourmets, it’s an order of magnitude more expensive for you to stay in a hotel. All the food was of normal quality, I didn’t see anything that could be poisoned. Unwashed dishes strained, when you take a plate-cup-fork, you need to look carefully, because they may have the remains of your previous meal. The slow guy was straining, frying omelettes in the morning, if you don’t repeat finish-finish-finish, your omelette will definitely be burnt. It was stressful for the staff to grab your plate into the sink, on which there was still food that you would like to finish eating. Our Russian-speaking brothers and sisters strained, stupidly interfering in line in front of you with lean faces. In general, some trifles, but it was not necessary to relax in the canteen.

ATTITUDE TO US RUSSIAN SPEAKERS. Before, I always thought that the stories about the incorrect attitude towards Russian speakers were nonsense. I often travel the world with a backpack and a tent, sometimes I go to good resorts in expensive hotels, but, to be honest, whether I rent a house for $ 2 a day or for 200, I felt this attitude for the first time. Perhaps I didn’t understand something, and there is such an attitude towards everyone, and not just us, but still some unpleasant aftertaste remained. It would not be true to say that everyone there is rude and so on. Most of the staff was quite welcoming and friendly, especially if you first smile at them affably. But some were just frankly rude, moreover, quite unexpectedly and for completely unexpected reasons.
OPERATOR. Turtesse acted as our operator, I can’t say anything particularly bad or good. At the first meeting, the guide told everything normally, answered questions. We took an excursion to the colored canyon, the organization of the excursion was rather strange, all the interesting things that the guide wanted to tell us, for some reason he told us for a long time at the gas station, then also for a long time gathering us near the toilet doors, why can’t we choose more nice places for this, it remains unclear. The program also included lunch and a rest in Nuweiba on the seashore, the coast is very beautiful, I really wanted to have fun on the sand there. We had lunch, but since no one wanted to swim in the sea, the guide said that we would not rest, but where would we go? right, to the shops, of course, the only ones in Egypt where everything is cheap and real. But the canyon is really very beautiful and I don’t regret going there for sure.
CONCLUSION. It really reminded me of Crimea, only with a beautiful reef, so for those who have never lived in classy hotels, who like to live in Crimean sanatoriums or who are forced to choose a four, it is quite a worthy choice. I'll try not to come back here again : )
