This is our first visit. I must say right away that we drove with great apprehension, which, to a greater extent, was caused by conflicting reviews about the characteristics of the local population, living conditions at the hotel and the organization of excursions. However, WRONG! At Sharma airport, at every stage of customs control, we were accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide with a sign "TOURTESS", who explained our actions in detail and kindly and answered all questions. Everything went very quickly (unlike Kharkov).
At the hotel reception we were greeted with a smile (at 10 pm), checked in within 5 minutes and taken to the room. Additionally, for the "view from the window" we paid $ 20 (this is immediately negotiated). Since it was our first time so we agreed straight away (it was worth it! ) even though all the hotel rooms are great.
Ours was on the second floor, overlooking the pool, close to the restaurant, amphitheater and disco (very convenient). Due to the late settlement, the guide booked a table for two in an Italian restaurant, and dinner was waiting for us at 12 o'clock at night.
Briefly about the hotel:
1) food: a huge variety of meat, dietary dishes, salads, vegetables, fruits, which, depending on your choice, are cooked and served in front of you; in the afternoon - ice cream for every taste, cotton candy, popcorn; cocktails (sooo delicious), all kinds of booze - around the clock;
2) staff: extremely friendly, always smiling, fast service (bartenders), thorough housekeeping (and without a dollar), everyone is always ready to help;
3) entertainment: pleasant relaxing music plays all day long, contests by the main pool; in the evening - a variety of groovy animation (animators are super guys): contests, fire shows, break dancers; from 23.30 disco with excellent club music.
Souvenirs are much CHEAPER to buy on or near the hotel. On the advice of the guide, we went to the Old City (local market) and made purchases there, but then we went to the nearest store and were very surprised: a T-shirt on the market was $8. , in the store-5 + you can and should bargain.
Summing up, I will say that Sharm is an incredibly beautiful green city, with kind, cheerful people, perfect roads and a huge set of attractions! ! ! Next year we will definitely continue the boundless study of this fabulous country ! ! !

S. : the only drawback is that the Russians, who are always dissatisfied with everything, are dismissive of the culture of the Egyptian people (they walk the streets in a pareo or just a swimsuit, change money in a bank, etc. ), they do not speak English at all and at the same time with HUGE CLAIMS, dismissively treat the staff, which is CLEARLY not justified (typical boors!!! ).
