Good afternoon . I am currently at Renaissance directly at the time of writing this review. I want to share a true and real review about the hotel.
On July 28, a company of 4 people (2 families) arrived. This is not the first time in Egypt. In this hotel for the first time, we chose it according to the overall rating and positive reviews on the sites.
Tour operator Anex, flight Azur Air. We got to the hotel in the evening, we were almost immediately put on bracelets and we went to dinner. I was immediately surprised by the very meager menu in the dining room, the dining room itself is small, not designed for the number of people that is resting.

The menu is more than meager, I won’t describe it, but compared to Turkish 5th one level lower, only sweets were at the level. Constant queues, about the staff in the canteen will be written separately. We had dinner at the reception, at check-in. We were immediately told that the guys in the rooms were nearby, so that there was no double bed in the room. Okay, our family took a room with two beds, friends got a 2 bedroom. As a result, there were no nuances with our number, but friends had continuous adventures. More on this later.
We live in rooms - 8205 and 8206.
So this whole building is located opposite the laundries, there is noise from the laundries around the clock, which is also in the room. But for us it's nonsense, but friends are less fortunate. The room stinks of bleach from the bath and toilet + it is not possible to sleep on their double bed, the mattress was completely killed.
And the rooms are great, spacious with sea views. Friends the next day went to ask to relocate them - of course they refused, citing that the entire hotel was occupied : ). After much wrangling, they offered a room even further away, right at the arrival of buses at the hotel, they refused. They began to seek a replacement mattress, the epic lasted 2 days. In the end it was replaced.
Now, as for the staff - in the dining room they just don’t care about you, you can order drinks in the dining room only through the waiter, they either pretend that they don’t notice you or just stupidly don’t carry anything. I had to swear again to get tea or coffee in the morning. The same goes for juices and water. I want to note that with meager food, drinks are all excellent. Packaged juices, drinks are also normal (Pepsi, seven up... ). No yuppies.
By the way, for the first time I encountered that when you enter the dining room, they ask you for a room number, they note, apparently so that you don’t come to eat or take something a second time. Take out of the dining room, too, do not give anything. Well done, that is, if you want to eat pastries or fruits at sea - forget about it. In general, with regard to food and service, I can really give a deuce to the hotel, which belongs to the Mariot chain, so to speak.

Now about the good. The territory of the hotel is large enough, although to go down to the sea you need to overcome the steps more than once, but that's it. The sea and the beach are just 5+. Gorgeous, I love everything. All negativity is smoothed out as soon as it hits the water. The bars on the beach work fine, you can take drinks in any quantity, etc. , etc.
Of course, we flew here only from overseas, I repeat once again it is just beautiful. The reef is ok too. Be sure to take masks. The pontoon is already new, large, wooden, comfortable.
We still have 2 full days left at Renaissance, spend them on the sea and get high....
but for ourselves we concluded that we would not return to Renaissance again.
All good rest and warm gentle red sea.
