The hotel is very good, excellent territory, the villas are located in a cascade, all rooms with sea views. But! )) If you want a comfortable room on the first line, closer to the beach, not near the laundry and outbuildings, put $30 in your passport, won't you regret it? . For this "present" I got a wonderful two-room suite in the 6th building on the second floor with two balconies, a kitchen (you can ask for dishes at the reception) - a stove, a large refrigerator, a microwave, of course an electric kettle (tea / coffee, sugar / cream).
The bathroom has a shower, bath, washbasin, toilet, bidet. There is a hair dryer and bathrobes. Also in the room there is an iron with an ironing board, a dryer (but in order for the swimsuits to dry faster, I still advise you to take a rope))) - it is more reliable and practical). In the living room there is an additional sofa, a good dining table, armchairs. On the loggias there are rattan chairs and a table. I am glad that there are a lot of lighting fixtures in the rooms - a chandelier, sconces, floor lamps, night lamps, spotlights.

We rested in other hotels in Sharm, and only in one we poisoned insects every evening (in the Grand Hotel). Therefore, take fumigators with you - mosquitoes eat mercilessly, as it gets dark and before dawn. I got the impression that they live in the ventilation system and numerous curtains. On the street, too, they bite instantly.
Vacationers 40% Russian-Ukrainian speakers, 40% Europeans, 20% Arabs. There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception, but only during the day. Polish chef in an Italian restaurant. Basically, the staff speaks English, but many also understand Russian.
In the hall to the right of the reception there are ATMs where you can withdraw money from the card, you can exchange dollars, euros and a few other currencies for Egyptian pounds. The exchange rate in November was 17.86 pounds for 1 dollar. At SIB ATM, the exchange rate is higher than at the Egyptian National Bank. In the city it is more profitable to pay in pounds. Compared to February of this year and last year, Sharm has come to life, there are a lot of tourists. Accordingly, prices have also increased, for a taxi almost 2 times. The hotel mainly accommodates tourists from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Baltic States, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, China and other countries. Near the ATMs there is a rack with books, oddly enough, there were no Russian-language books - the one I left immediately disappeared. (Book lovers, do not spare books in the public library? ))
There are animators, some events are held every day, but we did not go and did not participate.
There is free internet, but there isn't. Generally. We bought an Egyptian Vodofone card in the city (you need a passport) 191 pounds + 191 pounds replenished = 9 GB for $ 21. Anyone who needs the Internet for work will have to buy a card. Perhaps you can find a package cheaper - you need to monitor. Internet is paid in the room - $ 2 per day.

Cleaning - if you want every day: change of towels, bedding, water, tea, coffee. Left 15-35 pounds, depending on what needed to be done. The boy has no complaints. The only thing, somehow unpleasantly surprised, he asked to leave him, when we leave, a folding knife, very sharp, which he saw on our table in the kitchen. I explained that it was not customary to give knives. He immediately said "ok, ok". But, then the waiter, which will be discussed below, asked to leave him a sommelier's knife, which was also on our table. These are sold in stores, I saw. Naturally, I also said “no” to him. Why the workers needed our knives is not clear.
Regarding food and drink. You read reviews and it becomes funny? . Everyone knows Egypt is diet food. Good diet food! About the hungry and undernourished - pure lies. Yes, the food is the same every day. But! Do not collect fish, meat, chicken, stew, rice, hummus, etc. for every meal)) You are not pigs) The restaurant-canteen near the reception is not very large, it does not accommodate all guests at the same time, so choose your time - at the end of breakfast- lunch-dinner people are smaller and you can choose a comfortable table.
The food is purely dietary - in Sharm hotels they cook not salty (as we are used to), there is absolutely nothing fatty (of course there is no pork) and not very sweet. Always fresh fruits and vegetables - dressing sauces to your taste. A lot of buns, pastries - but this is not for everyone. From sweets, mostly biscuits and jelly (everything is tasty, but not for those who are used to chocolate) - also an amateur (they don’t have chocolate). For breakfast, everyone lines up for scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs - they cook everything without salt. In the mornings there are always cheese and meat cuts - I do not advise eating meat. It's just awful - it looks like soy and tyrza. Sausages in hotels are the same ((So in the morning - scrambled eggs, vegetables, cheeses, you can hummus. There are milk porridges, pancakes, muesli and jams, nuts.
Soups for lunch are purely symbolic, with the exception of mashed soups. For dinner, the menu is more varied, they cook delicious baked meat, rolls. For lunch and dinner, fish (fatty), squid, chicken (breaded, fried, stewed, etc. ), beef - stewed is very tasty, a familiar dish for the Slavs. There are no pickled cucumbers, but there are always vases with large olives and kalamata olives, greens.

The waiter brings tea and coffee, but the tea gourmet will not drink Lipton in bags)). Therefore, the advice - lovers of brewed tea is better to take it with you to Egypt and enjoy tea in your room. Also, a piece of good parmesan will not be superfluous (in 10 days we did not master a 700-gram piece together. For lovers of salty, a good s / c stick will also not be superfluous. Sweet tooth should bring their favorite chocolate with them).
Alcohol (local) for lunch and dinner is served by the waiter. In the bars you can drink during the day. But! Delicious wine-champagne is not produced in Egypt (it is better to bring it with you or buy it in a dutik), strong drinks and beer are also very specific.
Paper napkins are not accepted on the tables in restaurants - only woven ones, but you can insistently ask. So it's better to have your own. Toothpicks are in a cup at the entrance to the restaurant. You can take bottled water in all restaurants with you. In the ZinZina restaurant during the day you can take ice cream (frozen juice on a stick).
By the way, breakfast on the day of arrival and lunch and dinner on the day of departure are not provided, this is in the rules of the hotel.
In general, you will definitely not be hungry. And you really can not pay for anything extra and take nothing with you. But, gourmets will understand me? )))
A separate word about the contingent. Really scary - more than 50% of vacationers who are overweight, very overweight (both ours, and Arabs, and Europeans) are hogs and sows (((60 percent are pensioners, the rest of the families with small children, there are practically no young people. So, who wants to hang out and party - it's in the city outside the hotel, or in other youth hotels.
In a canteen restaurant, you need to be mentally prepared for an unpleasant, to put it mildly, spectacle (((People pick up three plates with a huge slide, another plate of rolls, then it’s all bitten, half-eaten, of course - it’s unrealistic to “press” such an amount of food into yourself - remains on the tables. All these people survived the Holodomor? Or do they want to push themselves into reserve? It looks very disgusting. And so every day. Breakfast-lunch-dinner.

A couple of days before departure, they brought a "compliment" from the hotel. Well, what can I say... I do not find fault. 2 spree bananas were the most delicious of this "compliment". The cracked, already spoiled persimmon went into the bin, the orange was dry - really just dried inside, and the guava was given to the cleaner - but he said he didn’t eat it either. It's kind of sad.
In an Italian restaurant, they cook quite well, as I said, a Polish chef. It's not free. You can take food to your room. I bought a cheesecake at the ZinZina restaurant (most of the menu items are missing) - a real cheese casserole, not the first freshness. Dropped a spoonful of jam on top. But this is not enough. I had to take a couple of jars of jam from the canteen - I really like cottage cheese, but without sour cream, honey or jam it’s not tasty. The price of a cheesecake seems to be £.55 or £.60 - more than $3 - not worth it. If you want canned beer in your room - 0.5 Stella in the hotel restaurants costs $ 4.
A separate issue is the delivery of drinks to the room. I had to make a small scandal and connect the Russian-speaking girl from the reception in the morning. The night waiter corny did not top up half. And considering that a double whiskey (that's 37.5 x 2 = 75 ml) costs $55, that's a lot! The restaurant management apologized and explained that when serving in the room, the waiter comes with a bottle and pours the drink into a measuring cup, and then pours it into a glass. First, the waiter brought already poured whiskey into a glass. But the measuring stack was our own. I had to film everything on video, collect bills and arrange a showdown. They apologized, they didn’t have to pay for one unfilled shot, but the waiter was not fired. Draw your own conclusions.
In the fish restaurant you need to sign up at the reception in advance. By the way, every day in the evenings large companies walked in it - corporate parties, birthdays and so on. Moreover, depending on what kind of music was playing, it was possible to understand from which country the audience was. The restaurant provides a discount per person 80 pounds. 2 seafood soups and 2 grilled sea bass + 3 glasses of white wine were discounted for £.370 ($21). Everything would be fine, but the soup is really impossible to eat (((- it's solid salt. The fish is still tolerable, but also salty. Also, the fish had marinated eggplant and tomatoes on a plate - but also very salty, and pita bread buns - they really were delicious . Another time I ordered soup and shrimp from them again, asked them not to salt!! ! In general. The result is the same (((But, the shrimp were normal. By the way, it’s impossible to be in a restaurant - mosquitoes just bite. It’s better to eat in the room. If you want delicious seafood soup, go to the old town Opposite the Karma store - (the place where you can buy alcohol the cheapest - all taxi drivers know) - an Italian restaurant across the road. They cook very tasty soup. Buy shrimp at the market, from the ice - the central row to the left of the mosque. 1 kg - 9-10-11 dollars, depending on the size. Great big fresh shrimp! They will cook them for you and pack them with you + do not forget to ask for the sauce. Grilled - but for some reason with onions, or boiled - with dill. cane resh. Similar to carrot juice, but not as sweet. And of course buy a mango!! ! One a day is very tasty)

Some complain that the territory is uncomfortable (((Everything is super! There are a lot of steps - from the lower building to the canteen there are 150 steps. You go up - work up an appetite, go down after eating - it’s also useful. You can drive a golf cart - they run around the perimeter of the hotel. Quite a lot greenery on the territory, flowers, tangerine and lemon trees - the fruits bend branches to the ground. There are benches, a gazebo with a fountain and ottoman sofas. Palm trees in front of the main entrance. And under them are mushroom sculptures, which look like fly agaric, but white. So here , not on the territory, but behind the fence on the lawns, mushrooms actually grow under palm trees - champignons)))
There are 4 swimming pools on the territory, one was heated under the windows - the water was 28-30 degrees. There is a gym in the central building around the clock - several exercise machines, mainly for the upper body, there are treadmills and an exercise bike. In the Spa complex, you can visit the sauna and hammam for free, but for women themselves from 12:00 to 16:00, then only couples. If I understood correctly. Paid procedures are prohibitively expensive. For example, a full body peel for £.3, 000 is almost $170. Even with a 15% discount for guests, it's still a lot.
Hotel talk about the beach and pools, or rather sun loungers. I haven’t seen such greed for a long time - in the dark, starting from 5-6 in the morning, people sneak with towels to the beach and to the pool. Get more sun loungers! At 8-9-10-11 in the morning, as in the afternoon, and in the evening you come to the beach - there are no people, but all the sun loungers are occupied!! ! - with towels, T-shirts, sometimes underpants (((One morning at 10:00 I came to the beach. There are 8 sun loungers in a row - 7 of them are occupied with towels! Not a single person! (I took a special photo). - closer to 11:00, a boar came running and took 3 towels! That is, this "body" grabbed 3 sun loungers, but no one came to them ((People, ay! What is happening to you ? ! Your self-esteem rises from that that they didn’t let someone use a sun lounger? Why do this? ! You won’t lie there for days. I sunbathe in the sun until 11:00 maximum, then I leave. Why take a sun lounger for the whole day? ! What is the goal? to all this, it became simply disgusting and unpleasant. As a result, I went out for a swim in the sea or nearby in the pool and went to sunbathe on my loggia. And of course, hellish surzhik from all sides is something ((Especially at 6:00 in the morning , the sun woke up, a gorgeous view of the sea, a heated swimming pool 10 meters away. I! Look at me! " And Galya “climbs out” from the first floor to her missus - a barrel on legs (((And you immediately understand who surrounds you and where you are? )
In general, if you do not pay attention to "people" and turn off your hearing, then everything is fine!

In general, the hotel is good, basically everything was fine, the room is excellent. But in Sharm, the hotels are of the same type, the food is +/- the same everywhere, the layout of the territory and the placement of buildings in the Renaissance is almost like next to it in the Hilton. But in the Renaissance, all rooms have sea views, you just need to choose the “right” building and floor. And then a gorgeous long beach. And the staff is more attentive and pleasant in small, non-chain hotels.
