We chose this hotel based on reviews on Turpravda and thought that there was no better hotel in Egypt... but... we had previously rested at another Sharma hotel and realized that it was clearly better than Rixos.
1. This is a meeting, they met us not badly and gave a good room, but no one gave us a tour of the hotel and did not tell us where and how. I had to look for everything myself. They gave an online map, but of course they could also lead through the territory - this is Rixos !!!
2. Our room was good - spacious, deluxe. Pool view but quiet and peaceful. Cleaning every day, filling the bar too. The cleaner we had was super, every day a clean and fresh room, and the decoration of the bed is super. Special thanks to him. No complaints at all!

3. Golf carts run around the territory, it’s super convenient because the territory is large and it’s not very hot to walk, so we rode to the beach, dinner and lunch, they drive fast and you don’t have to wait long for them. So thanks to the drivers guys too - handsome! Well, I’ll immediately write for the territory - large, beautiful, green, well-groomed and instagrammable - there are no questions at all !!!
4. Ala carte restaurants. We are delighted with the Italian restaurant, I don’t know why there are no reviews about it - but it really is the best and most delicious. Very cool service, pleasant waiters and the manager, we are just wow, so delighted.
The sushi bar is also good, but the same sushi was given for dinner in a regular restaurant. But there are no tasty claims.
The Brazilian restaurant is delicious, very even, but a bit of service on the day of our visit did not work out - as half of the food did not reach us! And yes, we ate 3 shrimp all evening. Well, that's it)
Fish is also good, but without much enthusiasm.
And Turkish - Turkish breakfast is something. Very pretty and Instagrammable.
5. Restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a bit of a difference of opinion here. The first thing that upset Frechi. When choosing Rixos, one of the criteria was food and drinks. We didn't want to drink diluted cola and jupis and juices from the package, so we decided to overpay for Rixos to drink delicious cocktails and fresh juices. But here it turned out not to be the case, fresh mango was given only in the morning. Although in the hotels in which we were before at the end of December they gave Freshs the whole day - at the bar, at the pool, on the beach in the main restaurant. And here in super Rixos - only in the morning. At lunch and dinner, drink juices from the package. If those who read think that we are spoiled, I will tell you NO. Since if we had paid 1000-1300 dollars for the hotel, there would have been no questions, but for 2000 with a ponytail, well, I really wanted to at least drink Freshie all day. (When you feel like it, I mean).
Food. The variety of food is of course great, there are no questions. The fish is red every morning, there are a lot of fruits, we didn’t eat sweets - but there are just an unrealistic amount of them here.

But what can I say that we just went out with gastronomic pleasure, no, well, not bad, delicious, but this is Rixos, we were waiting for a little more investment in food... And again I recall our previous hotel, where every time you left the restaurant you were on 101% satisfied with what you ate, well, here you go straight and you ate super tasty. This was not the case here, and for 5 days I generally had severe Diarrhea, I don’t know if it was from the food of the Rixos Hotel, but we didn’t eat anywhere else, and didn’t go on excursions, so probably from food.
Well, the service at the pool, for the whole day you can be approached 1 time (it doesn’t matter if you gave a tip or not), and in the heat of 40 you have to walk yourself and take cocktails and water, although again I remember the previous hotel where everyone came to you half an hour and took the order... here we expected the same thing, this is Rixos...
5. Beach. The corals are beautiful, the fish are diverse, we just got high. But the beach is kind of dumb, the sand is dirty, not sifted, the sunbeds are dirty at random, not according to Rixoski somehow at all. Well, the bar on the beach is also some kind of not clean at all and did not inspire confidence.
6. Alcohol, since we are not fans of getting drunk and filled with beer and vodka, we chose a hotel and realized that we were paying more than the rest so that there would be more or less alcohol for Egypt. But there was not a single cocktail that was delicious. You can drink, but it’s not really super, so we didn’t drink for almost all 9 days, as there were no tasty drinks. Wine and champagne is no different from those in ordinary cheap Egyptian hotels, so why pay more.

And finally, we are completely disappointed in the attitude towards customers and their division into nationalities. On the 9th, on our last day of stay at Rixos hotels, charters from Russia were supposed to be launched. And how they were expected, how they were prepared, how they were met. We met them with drinks, champagne and animators. They did super cleaning, prepared all the staff, even rubbed the legs on the tables to a shine - after all, Russia eats! I have nothing against the Russians, but they are the same clients and tourists as we are, but we were never met like that, they didn’t even give us water in the hall upon check-in, not to mention cocktails and champagne. Well, dinner on the day of Russia's arrival was much more beautiful, tastier and more varied than all 8 days before Russia's arrival. Therefore, we will probably not recommend this hotel to friends. After all, why pay more? It's just that we were in Rixos Turkey and other hotels in Egypt and we have something to compare with. And in order to be called a Rixos hotel, you need to earn some money, because you spoil their reputation.
Well, the last thing is departure, we left the hotel at 3:00, and no one offered us or gave us lunch boxes (food on the road), although all hotels, even the cheapest ones, gave food to their pityers on the road, and from the whole bus to only we, tourists from Rixos, drove to the airport without food. Yes, this is not the most important thing in rest, and at 3 a. m. I would hardly eat, but the imprint of the service and respect for the client is manifested precisely in this - but this was not. Neither the hotel guide nor the staff bothered about this and offered us…
