We were at the hotel at the end of October. Hot tour. The selection criteria were: price, 1 line, the presence of fish and corals, the presence of a bar on the beach.

So.

1. Price. Well, what can you say if the tour operator's guide and even the staff themselves say that the hotel is "shitty". Declared four stars and does not smell! Maximum two. For the money that we paid for tours ($540 for two for 7 nights), I would not go to this hotel a second time. For $400 still can be thought. I would like to warn you that the hotel has some kind of agreement with the special services of Egypt and during our stay about 200 security officials settled. It must be admitted that they behaved very civilly, but the presence of people on the territory, of whom every fifth walks with a gun, is annoying. Consider this.

2.1 line. We also fell for the hotel due to the fact that the first line to the sea, but I will tell you that this is a confident second line. Walk 10 minutes to the sea from the reception at a brisk pace. Not so close, especially at lunchtime in the heat.
You have to go down to the beach, and go up at lunchtime.

3. The sea is crystal clear and warm, the coral reef is alive, there are fish. The beach itself is very small, about 50 meters, it is a niche carved into the coral. The beach is designed for a comfortable stay of 30 people maximum (15 mushrooms for 2 people). The sunbeds are partially broken, somewhere something does not open, does not rise, staggers. The mattresses on the beach, judging by their condition, were found in the times of the USSR. The promised beach of 350 meters consists of fungi and broken sunbeds without mattresses on a hill, an abandoned area that is not protected from the wind, with a steep climb up the stairs and it is very difficult to call it a beach.

You can swim down from the pontoon. Wooden pontoon, this is +. But the ladders for descending from the pontoon into the water are something ...One is without steps and is closed. You can go up and down only one at a time.
The steps are very slippery, no one cleans them, they are partially absent in the underwater part, the soar staggers terribly and is kept incomprehensibly how due to additionally tied rusty pipes. In a word, that quest will go down and up. With a slight wave, cuts and abrasions are provided.

The beach is not protected in any way from the prevailing northeast wind. For 7 days of stay, 4 days from morning until almost afternoon, a red flag was hoisted, they were not allowed into the sea, and this is in October in an almost calm season, in the winter season it will probably be even worse. For 3 days there was also a strong current. The whistler did not allow sailing further than 10-15 meters from the pier. In fact, everyone is floundering in one place, respectively, there are few fish, as there are many people.

The reef is a sheer rock. It is impossible to swim over the reef, the depth does not allow. Near the coast, the depth is a maximum of knee-deep corals.

If you are a bad swimmer or with small children, then you are definitely not here.

A big minus is that the toilet does not work on the beach, or rather it is, but there is no water in it and it is not cleaned.

4. Bar. There are no declared 4 bars on site at all. The bar is only open by the pool. According to the theory, there is another bar, by the sea for 7 days it came off only 2 times. Once brought 2 bottles of beer and 1 diluted bottle of "whiskey" in an unsealed bottle. Accordingly, everything ended within 15 minutes after the bar opened. Further, according to the bartender: vsyo, finish, know alcohol. On the second day, there was nothing but cola and fanta. Both days the bar was open until lunch. At the reception, they don’t want to listen to the shortcomings, arguing that “I don’t understand! ”. The remaining 5 days he did not work at all. I mean, there was no water. I remind you to the reception 10 minutes walk up a steep hill.

Pool bar. There is this bar. But there is never anything in it.
What the hell is all inclusive if there is always no beer at the bar, but I generally keep quiet about strong alcohol. Vodka resembles water, after gin in the mouth there is a taste not of pine needles but of old lard, instead of whiskey tea is poured sometimes also hot. All claims are sent to the reception. There, with a businesslike appearance, they begin to call somewhere several times, they say in 5 minutes everything will be fine and then nothing again. Once we managed to bring the general manager of the hotel together with an interpreter to the bar, to our request to pour ANY alcohol from a new bottle, we were given 5 different bottles, on which there was not a single unopened cap and not a single excise stamp. Alcohol is all badyazhat, and it is not clear what. To our fair indignation, it was said that this is how Egyptian alcohol looks like, and not like your problems.

Cola and sprite also ended very quickly. There is no mineral water. The maximum that you can count on is diluted UPI.
Water is drawn from the tap and given from the cooler.

There is no glassware at all, everything is poured into tiny 120 gram disposable cups. And if you can still just drink, then you need to have your own cup for tea.

5. Food is scarce. But this can be understood in view of the cheapness of the tour package to this hotel. You can put up with it, you won't die of hunger. You can eat, you won't be hungry. BUT after this rest, I won’t eat rice and pasta for another year, because there are no other side dishes and they are there every day (for breakfast, lunch and dinner. )

In the dining room the so-called buffet. Pasta (it feels like the cheapest that exist in the world), rice (exactly the same as pasta), beans in tomato. Meat (chicken or beef) and fish (pangasius) - in small portions without the right to supplement. For 7 days, the recipe has not changed.

For the first stew, the most common vegetable broth with a bunch of seasonings.
But in order to taste it, you need to somehow miraculously get a bowl and a spoon ...

We didn’t see any fruit for a week, several times at lunch you could get a tiny melon cut into thin pieces.

Sweets - the same type of biscuits 1-2 types. 2 times there was an additional baklava. Give out 3 small pieces.

Dirty, not enough staff. Cleaning - sometimes waving a rag. Sticky tables in restaurants. You ask the waiter to wipe the table, he takes a dirty sticky rag and runs it over the table a couple of times. Cutlery comes across poorly washed. Once, the remains of a metal brush for dishes were found in pasta, another time, a plastic clip was found in rice.

6. Territory. How was it possible to . . erit such territory? Trees and bushes ask for water, everything is dry. To take a beautiful photo you have to run. 2/3 of the territory is abandoned. Through it you need to go to the sea.
We are not talking about any shuttle bus in principle, although the schedule of its movement hangs both at the reception and near the restaurant.

Mosquitoes are everywhere. This is probably the only "four-star" hotel in Egypt where they do not fight in any way. Stock up on fumigators and sprays.

7. Hotel. This is a complete deception. 2 restaurants, 4 bars - lies. One dining room and 1.5 bars without alcohol (there is more than a bar near the beach). The pool bar is open until 22.00. I repeat, there are no restaurants on site!! ! There is a typical dining room from the late 90s with furniture that was once considered very good and so it has survived to this day! Stated in the description of the Ala-carte restaurants, there is no trace. There are also no snacks at the bar. The lobby bar is not open at all. There is no imported alcohol even for money. There is no currency exchange. Why deceive and write those services that are not at all.
We were there for a week and every single day we had to run to the reception to argue with the administrator and in most cases to no avail. Absolutely everyone they met there had one opinion and would not recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are completely dead, although it must be admitted that they are spacious. There is simply no plumbing in the rooms, everything flows, there is no hot water, only a little warm. The safe is not working, they didn’t do it for us in 7 days, the mirrors are very old, the sheets are dirty, the curtains are torn and dusty. The furniture was made somewhere in the late 90s. Entrance doors and locks are generally a separate topic for conversation. The air conditioners in the rooms work, but they were probably also cleaned in the 2000s (the smell is so-so).

7. Pool

The pool is big but dirty. A pile of sand and mud floats. They clean the pool only after complaining to the reception, not on their own. The sun loungers around the pool are ok. Beach towels are issued near the pool and you need to carry them with you to the sea.
