A week has passed since our holiday in Labrand…
Emotions have cooled down and I will try to leave an objective review of our stay at this hotel.
Summer vacation in Egypt, for me, has always been something extreme, we usually have a rest in Egypt twice a year: April-May and November-December. The weather at this time suits us perfectly. Vacation in the summer turned out because of the quarantine.
The hotel was selected according to the price-quality ratio and the first line. The travel agent recommended Labrand - "a hotel for Europe", it was also a plus that it opened only on July 28 and it was assumed that it had been renovated (we were wrong), so we decided to stop there.
The tour operator this time was Coral, we flew on a UIA plane. Sharm el-Sheikh airport was empty upon arrival, border guards and customs went through quickly and bought with an ORANGE SIM card, because. do not trust the free Wi-Fi in the hotel (as it turned out for good reason). Transfer to the hotel no more than 30 min.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we entered the reception area. It did not make an impression on us... small and rather modest, the bar does not work in it. We filled out the documents, they gave us an envelope with a number and the porter took our suitcases and led us to show the number. The territory and rooms of the hotel are made in an unusual way, in the form of an Egyptian village. The tracks, at first glance, are confused and unsystematic. Each room, I would say "bungalow" has a separate entrance. We had a superior room, it has an excellent covered terrace with a sofa and a table. The room itself has one double and one single bed, a table, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, a TV - in general, a standard Egyptian set. The TV is 26 inches, but it had only 8 channels, of which: Ukrainian - 0, Russian - 1 and it was without sound (twice the receptionist went with a request to add the number of channels and adjust the sound. Only on the 3rd day the sound track was restored on the Russian channel, Ukrainian channels were never made).
The air conditioner in the room worked well. The bathroom has a toilet, bidet, shower, washbasin. Plumbing - NEW!! ! Soap and shower gel - poured into dispensers. Due to quarantine, beach towels are not issued on the beach, but are in the room in a bag upon check-in. I will say right away that they cannot be called beach towels - washed gray rags with a fringe. Moreover, you will have to carry them with you throughout your vacation, as they are not changed on the beach. Bed linen, in the room, also for 4 ku, there was no claim to bath towels. The room also upset the dirty tulle.
The hotel is located on a cape and is well blown by the winds. In summer it's good, but in winter it will be like on Nabq. The territory is very green, has its own (!!! ) promenade.
The hotel is located in a dead end, far from other hotels, there is simply nowhere to go out and walk behind the hotel. You can get to Naama or the Old Town only by a hotel taxi, because. You need to walk almost 2 km to the highway.
The hotel has two large swimming pools and one for children, located in opposite parts of the hotel. Large pools are very deep from 1.5 to 2.5 m. There are two beaches on the territory of the hotel. From the side of the floating pontoon, the reef is dead. One hundred sides of the flooded pontoon reef is livelier, especially if you swim towards the demolished, abandoned hotel. But the flooded pontoon itself is broken, some of the plates are washed away, and some of the wooden steps are missing on the stairs. Launching into the sea is uncomfortable.
There are two restaurants on the territory of the hotel (but only one worked) and two bars worked.
A restaurant, or rather, a dining room, everything is behind glass and cooks put food, they save money, but if you ask, they put more. Meals, well, very, monotonous, for a week there was only a grill twice. Bottled beer - Stella, no other alcohol. Ice cream is free. The bar next to the restaurant serves good coffee.

Savings are felt (lack of staff). One lifeguard per beach and pool, cooks and bartenders stand both at the issuance and at the preparation of pizza, etc.
In general, the staff of the hotel - we liked it, the attitude is very friendly, they always try to help.
The hotel itself left a mixed impression. We liked the rest, but the hotel needs to improve a lot, from food to the condition of the rooms and hotel equipment. there is nothing to pay here.
