Good day! Rested with a friend in hotels. I'll start with the pros:
In principle, the hotel is not bad, there is a swimming pool, although the water is not heated, so in January the sun is not so hot to heat it up, it can be cool. Near the pool there are sunbeds, a bar where you can order everything you want, from tea to vodka.
A 15-minute walk from the hotel is the Old Town, where you can buy everything, there are markets with fruits, clothes, seafood. We went to Fares, this is a restaurant with seafood, you buy them there and they cook them for you, a cozy restaurant with nice prices. Shrimps and crabs from 8 dollars per kg.
The hotel is on line 2. So it takes 25-30 minutes to walk to the beach, but there is a transfer from the hotel that takes you there at 08.45 and at 09.00. And takes back at 12.30 and 12.40. The transfer takes you to lunch, which starts at 13.00 and ends at 15.00 and again takes you to the sea and takes you back. Very comfortably.

This hotel has a gorgeous beach with corals and reefs. Worth going there for the gorgeous Red Sea! I have never seen so many fish and corals in my life! And by the way, on the way to the beach there is a water park, near which there is a market with fruits, sweets and oils, so it’s better to buy everything there. Because on excursions it all costs 2 or even 3 times more! And in general, do not take excursions from the hotel, they are an order of magnitude higher. There is a guy on the beach who offers excursions and for good prices. We took a tour for $20.6 in 1, there were trips on quads, on camels, diving into a blue hole, we drove to the canyon, to the market and fed lunch, and all this for some 20 bucks!
Is there also a hotel shuttle that takes you to SOHO? This is a very beautiful area with different markets, duty free. It takes about 40 minutes to get there by transfer.
As for the food, everything was great. Yes, Egyptian cuisine is not famous for its dishes, but you won't go hungry either. There were always biscuits, donuts with chocolate, melons, oranges, dates, guava, pasta, lasagna, potatoes, beans, various vegetables, yogurts. I had enough of everything. Fish and meat were also present. Yes, there is no seafood, but you are not paying $500 per person for a tour, so be reasonable.
Cons: Rooms in hotels in the old Egyptian style, not for everybody. The rooms are not cleaned. A guy came to us only once in a week, he splintered something on the floor, rubbed it somehow and left. And for that I should tip him? Animators are working, but they are constantly calling you somewhere, it’s not clear, some bars, in general, to extort money. But you can just refuse them.
In principle, we liked everything, because we didn’t go to hotels to sit and look for flaws, but to enjoy the rest and the sea, and the sea is gorgeous there!
