Fourth time in Egypt. Lived in 4 stars. and twice in 5 stars. hotels. I got into this hotel by accident (relatives settled in Albatross and I chose closer to them and not so expensive). The hotel surprised me! There is everything for a comfortable stay. No cheap pomposity. Everything is simple, clean and comfortable! Germans, Italians, Poles, Russians and Ukrainians rest in the hotel. There were even from Norway. Therefore, obviously, everything is set up for European service. Well-groomed territory, clean rooms (almost all overlook the pool and a flowering garden and have a balcony with chairs and a table), mandatory daily cleaning. Toilets and showers are sparkling clean. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, TV, detergents, daily drinking water. No livestock. Very conscientious animators, every day some evening show. No money-grubbing, not even a hint of chocolate. But what surprised me the most was the food. Everything is delicious! I am a vegetarian and for me there were a lot of all sorts of vegetable dishes. Well, very tasty! Every day something new. And what delicious pastries! Based on previous experience, I did not expect anything good from Egyptian pastries (the same sweet-tasteless dough in different forms). But in this hotel the pastries are very tasty! With nuts, poppy. fruit filling, dark chocolate, jelly, soufflé... Very clean tablecloths on the tables, dishes are removed instantly, there is never a shortage of any dish at what time you would not come. Everything is always replenished.
Own beach (for outsiders entrance 3 dollars) with a coral reef 5 minutes by bus (every hour). You can walk in 20 min. There are two descents into the water. One on the steps and immediately to a great depth, and the other to an almost smooth reef with fish, but after 15 meters the depth begins with a live reef. Not suitable for children.
Despite all the advantages, there is one significant disadvantage - this is a red flag on the beach when the wind is (not even big). But this did not stop me from exploring the territory of the city and finding a public beach in a quiet bay near the Albatross (30 minutes walk along a very beautiful street) and just an amazing wild piece of a very colorful coast with a gentle entrance and a forest of corals right away, without swimming into the depths. (it's an hour's walk) in Ras Um Sid bay. There are many beaches and close to the hotel with a gentle entrance and no red flag (paid).

The hotel is in a very civilized and beautiful area just outside the gate.
