Sheraton Sharm Resort Hotel 5*

I stayed at this hotel in January. Bought a ticket at hot prices, but in my opinion, a little expensive. The hotel corresponds to five Egyptian stars, which means 4 stars maximum by European standards. I rested in Egypt before the revolution, and of course the difference is significant. The service has fallen ((. It is, of course, understandable - the economy in the country has died, but the prices for vouchers have remained unchanged, so logically, the cost of a voucher to a country where everything is collapsing should be appropriate. The hotel staff is trying and very friendly. The territory of the hotel well-groomed and beautiful, there is a place to take a walk in the evening. The restaurant prepares quite decent food, but compared to the past, of course, it has become poorer at times. Plus the hotel is a beach and the sea, where you can enjoy the underwater world of the Red Sea without going on excursions. As for the prices for excursions, the top of the hotel is sky-high.

The guide intimidates with scary stories about local firms and in every possible way persuades to buy excursions from him. For a beginner, his horror stories may well affect the purchase of excursions, but, as an experienced one, I already have a couple of numbers of local companies from which I have gone on excursions more than once and I can say that the organization is at the highest level: Russian-speaking guides, decent transport, and most importantly, the price is adequate . As a result, I can say that the rest was a success, but taking into account that I took a ticket at a discount. Too expensive in my opinion.
