Nutrition.
We ate at the Nefertiti restaurant. This is complete oops. Reminds me of something soviet (IMHO): food is scarce, but there is a lot of it. Rice, mashed potatoes, pancakes, salads. I strained with meat - sausages and cutlets tasted like chewed paper or a dead camel. For all the time I have never seen a normal piece of meat (the fish was given once - I liked it). For fruits - "fruit soup", which consists of grapes, melons and apples. There is always a queue for him. But there are a lot of dessert dishes (cakes, syrups, cake; I really didn’t see ice cream). In general, after 2 days of such food, it really became nauseous. Saved trips to the Old market and paid kitchen.
By the way, near "Nefertiti" there is another restaurant for Italians. The food there is way better. The third restaurant (in the main building) I think also feeds better.
Service.

They settled quickly (15 minutes), they returned 20 dollars in the passport on the respshina during the resettlement : ) They settled in a standard room in Dolphin (as we later found out, we were not very lucky - some were settled in Romantic Hills, there is no bar and generally worse). Room: first floor, shower (did not work, they left 1 euro on it during cleaning, it worked the next day), safe, 2 beds, TV, Conder. In general, the number of norms.
In general, in terms of service - who likes to be treated like a third grade - you are in this hotel. The Russian-speaking tourist is in the last link in the service chain of the attendants. Italians and Germans are in priority. For example, the bartender at the bar next to the pool will first serve all foreigners (Germans, Italians, abibals, wrapped in black sheets from head to toe), then all newly arrived foreigners, and only when there is no one left will pay attention to Russian-speaking tourists. It comes to the ridiculous - foreigners pour beer into a convenient glass of 0.5 liters, for Russians small plastic ugly 100 g cups. Cleaning in the room according to the principle: left for tea - removed, did not leave - cleaning passed by. About the pool bar is a separate issue. In general, for a small tip (usually left 1-2 dollars a day), it is possible to win over an initially insane Egyptian creature with a proud position of "bartender" (Ahmed, hello to you : ). I think we succeeded: for the sake of laughter, it came to a proposal to organize direct drug trafficking along the route "from fuck knows where to number 2052" and, most importantly, at prices below the manufacturer (15 dollars). Drug trafficking passed by, but the offer to try delicious pizza was accepted and then saved me from hunger more than once (I wrote about eating in a restaurant above).
In general, the service as a whole is annoying.
Hotel.
Hotel, bitch, big. I would even say huge. And green. And smelly (watered by sewage). Own big beach. There is a good, comfortable pontoon from which they enter the water. In other places it is problematic to enter (reefs), until you reach deep water (and this is 50 meters from the shore) you will roll over ten times and kill everyone and everything. Checked on myself - all the belly is scratched. But when he got there, he did not regret it, a lot of fish, moray eels and other living creatures that live in wild "uninhabited" places.

For trips to the city used a taxi (permanently stand at the entrance). This need is not due to a large amount of extra money, but due to the impossibility of signing up for a free bus: "You need to call the reception at 7.00 and indicate the time for which you want to sign up" - "Clearly, why exactly at 7.00? Let's start in the evening sign up for tomorrow's bus? " - "No. Only at 7.00" (at this moment an Italian comes up and he is easily recorded on the tomorrow bus at the time indicated by him... ) Continuing the topic - in the morning, when we called at the indicated time, there were no empty seats : ) . Taxi prices in the area: to Naama Bay 10-14 dollars (round trip, with a wait of about an hour while shopping), to the Old market 15-20 dollars round trip with a wait of about an hour. I recommend bargaining, up to pretending that you are going to leave. It helps a lot - since the initial price is usually 2 - 2.5 times higher.
Well, I don’t need to talk about ordering excursions for a long time either. Go to Naama Bay and you will find everything there (the price of the tour is usually 5-10 dollars, sometimes even more lower than the similar one promoted by the guide assigned to you at the hotel). We went quad biking in a group of 2 (myself and a friend) for $50. And then, as I found out later, I overpaid, at least 10 dollars (I just hit my hands while under the hookah : ). The guide offered a similar one for $60.
Diving. Well, that's a separate issue altogether. As a rule, people going to dive know in advance with whom and where they will dive. Let me just say that the hotel has its own dive center on the beach. Prices are standard: 50 euros per dive day on a yacht (2 dives). If you wish, you can take the necessary courses. I won’t say anything about the quality of services and the equipment offered for rent, since I dived with another center. Of the dives, I especially remember El Bells near Blue Hole: on the shore, the monuments erected by divers lying on the bottom left a heavy sediment. At the end of the post I will throw a link to a video about El Bells.
In general, the hotel: food - 3, service - 3, the hotel itself 4. I'm sure you can find a cut better for the same money (I think that they overpaid great).
