We were in Otium from May 24 to June 3.2017. Two adults and a 5-year-old daughter.

Let's start with a meeting, we were greeted warmly with a smile and cool drinks. Despite the late arrival and the restaurant was almost closed, we were first invited to eat. While everyone was eating, our dad took advantage of the moment and quickly checked in and we went to the room.
They put 10 dollars in the documents, gave the number 4252, maybe they could not have given it, they would have settled us there too. The windows overlooked the relax pool, quiet and comfortable. We think any room in this hotel is quiet.
By the number itself, there are no big complaints. Clean everywhere. Lots of cabinets, no odors. The bed is huge, there is also an extra bed for a child. Bed linen and towels were not changed every day, it seems like every three days. I did not really like the pillows, but this is a matter of taste. We did not follow the soap accessories, we like to use our own. Thanks to the maid, I pleased with masterpieces for a symbolic reward, there was an elephant, and a snake and something else)) The child was happy)). There were no complaints about cleaning.
But. . . the air conditioner was very noisy. As if in an airplane), sleep is not real. We turned it on at the time of leaving the room and that was enough, the light does not turn off when you take out the card. We slept at night with the balcony door open, it’s a pity the tulle is not up to the floor, we had to invent a “barrier” for mosquitoes, they laid a blanket downstairs. Plus a fumigator, which you take with you!! ! And the mosquitoes didn't pester us at night. There are a lot of mosquitoes on the territory, although they are regularly poisoned. Mosquito repellent for the street had to be bought at a local pharmacy, they bought a children's room from an "English manufacturer", but it was very smelly and not very effective and expensive. So take it with a margin.
Now about the beach. The beach is long, yes… But the approach to the water is a small area about 20 meters long! All other sunbeds and umbrellas are on the cliff. In this small area, entry into the water is strewn with small pebbles, children can keep themselves busy playing on the beach, but swimming from the shore will not work, because stones start deeper than the knee, so you can “crawl” from the beach with a mask)))) even with it is almost impossible for a child to swim from the beach. On the highest tide (out of 10 days), the water was just above the knees for an adult, except for those days when there were waves up to a meter (on one of these days, the girl was thrown onto corals by a wave). Therefore, basically from the shore you can just walk around and watch the fish, which are much smaller from the pier than from the shore. The pier is not big. From the pier it is possible to swim and snorkel, admire the fish, but in this region there are often big waves and also a big current. For 10 days we were lucky a couple of times. Of the fish, there are many surgeons, butterflies, parrots, needles, they saw something similar to tuna (about 70-80cm), stingrays. Corals are not bright. Near the pier are red hedgehogs. Black hedgehogs also live from the beach, shoes are a must.
Pools abound! Everything is clean and well maintained, everywhere there is a bar with kind staff, there was no shortage of either sunbeds or umbrellas! Moreover, we found three relaxation pools in different parts of the hotel + one large and deep one in which you can perfectly swim, play polo + one pool closer to the beach with three slides.
According to animation: funny young guys always tried to amuse the audience and thanks to them for not being as intrusive as in other hotels! The child in the nursery always found something to do, brought a lot of handicrafts and went to the nursery with pleasure! In the evening it was sad, there were shows, but not at the level of this hotel, as it was quickly cheap and not interesting (but this is purely our opinion). It was also unclear the time of the event, the dinner started at 19.00, the children's disco from 20.00 to 20.30, but the show from 21.30, that is, there is nothing to do for an hour and people dispersed in all directions, and if with a child it is not at all clear where to roam with him all this time.
Now objectively about food: I'll start with the fact that everything was very tasty! BUT: pancake every day the same thing, the same thing! Moreover, lunch did not differ much from dinner, except that for lunch they baked pizza on the street, and for dinner they added kebab on the grill. Once there were crabs, we came for dinner at 19.15 (beginning at 19.00) and found only fragments of crabs. More than once for breakfast they did not give oatmeal, which, logically, should be the same as an omelette. For fruits, there were bananas, melons, oranges, and somehow they gave peach and nectarine incomprehensibly (in portions, even vacationers had a conflict, people saw peaches at the counter, and the restaurant employee did not want to put them on display) they gave watermelons every other day, we went to the season of cherries and strawberries, I was sure that it would be, but alas....The children's menu is the same as the adult food, but just serving at the level of children's growth and the presence of a microwave. The food was so monotonous that you go to eat and understand that you won’t eat))) This is the first hotel where there was no desire to take pictures of food! We had a similar situation with a 3 and 4 star hotel, but the prices there were at least two times lower!
On the last day, thanks to the administration, we were given a late check-out at 16. Although all 109 people who checked in at the same time as us should leave the hotel at 19.30. Almost all the people spent the rest of the time sitting in the lobby, the heat, the mountains of suitcases on the street in the heat from 16 o'clock. They set up a small table with desserts and a few glasses for drinks, it was all over in a minute, it was somewhat humiliating. We went for a swim in the pool at this point, before checking out we didn't try anything to drink at the bars. Since we were almost forcibly cut off the bracelets at the reception during the delivery of the room under the control of the hotel's general manager! Madhouse! And if you lose, then pay $ 10, in general, laughter! We had late check-outs, but it was always possible to wear a bracelet and use all the hotel services, including bars and restaurants, before leaving the hotel.
A huge plus of the hotel is the Staff! EVERYONE is very friendly and welcoming, thank you for your hospitality! Almost everyone speaks not only Russian, English, but also German, Polish, Italian and Spanish)))))
