The trip was justified by 200%, I didn’t think that it would be so sad to leave. at the last moment). I will say right away that this is our first outing to a foreign resort, so there is nothing to compare with - but on the other hand, I read a lot of reviews on the Internet. Now to the point.
We went with Tez-Tour, we were met at the airport not without minor overlays, but in any case, representatives of this company came across there at every step, so they were not afraid to be lost or forgotten.
We arrived at the hotel around 3 o'clock, filled out a questionnaire, gave the necessary documents, after which we were asked to go to dinner, then check-in. There were no delays and antics - they came to the room, looked around, and there the luggage arrived in time.

The room, as they have already said here, is not with the newest furniture, but very clean, the ceilings and walls are whitewashed, the plumbing shines. There is a shoe box in the corridor, a rather spacious closet (plus a small safe in it). In the restroom there is a toilet bowl, a sink, a spacious shower cubicle, a bidet, a hanger, a hair dryer (weak, really). The room is also spacious, large beds, a huge table with a chair, a TV set, two armchairs with a table, a bedside table. And such a pleasant terrace again with wicker chairs and a table. There are huge mirrors everywhere. Lighting, however, is poor. The air conditioner seemed to work fine.
In general, we were lucky with the location of the room (without any additional fee) - the last building along the "main street" stretching from the reception: we are 4-5 minutes from the main restaurant (and it's nice to walk through such beauty), and to the sea only along several stairs to go down - here is the pool, the beach, the sea, and a stone's throw literally a terrace with a panoramic view (the territory of one of the bars, it seems).
We really liked the area. In terms of size, I think, average, but well thought out. Six (seemingly) pools - one ordinary ceramic, the rest stylized as natural reservoirs (we liked the one by the sea more), and a water path with slides, waterfalls, palm trees. Unmeasured all sorts of paths, paths, descents, ascents, ladders. Add here all kinds of vegetation (palm trees, lush flowering bushes, various trees, well-groomed lawns). Egyptian herons hang out on the territory) And in the evenings it all takes on a fantastic look - lanterns are hidden in the bushes, on palm trees, and even the reservoirs are lit in a special way. In general, walking is a pleasure, everything is done with the soul.
The beach is sort of mountainous (like the whole territory), there are a lot of trestle beds. They could only be lacking sometimes by the pools (although there are a lot of them), but by the sea it was always easy to find a free pair. Although the practice of taking sunbeds seemed to be, but we did not remain without a place, if you look, you will find. There was no shortage of towels either.

Sea . . Sea, sea, sea) Insanely beautiful color) Entry into the sea is mainly from a pier 20 meters long (the reef just breaks off there - the depth is not sickly, and the waves begin to "spin" somewhere there). The weather then was very windy, and the waves were quite large, but this did not interfere with swimming at all, on the contrary, it was interesting. Only one day there was a strong current. On the pier there is a locker for slippers so that they do not swim away inadvertently, a life buoy on a string, and an Egyptian lifeguard with a whistle (not on a string, and somehow it is not always available . . ). You can look at the fish directly from the pier, or swim with a mask. Food is forbidden (it is correct).
From the animation, we went to water aerobics (a pool by the sea), club dancing, belly dancing a couple of times, aerobics, salsa (this is all in a clearing near the beach), we played boccia (there, however, always Italian old people hang out). And no one looks there, whether you are Italian or whoever, everyone is equally cheerfully invited, and you feel comfortable. It was quite normal to alternate between swimming and lying on the beach. In the evening, we only went to a fakir show, but looked at Italian fun (a very peculiar humor . . ), so I don’t know how interesting it is there.
There are enough bars everywhere, you can take a drink, for example, in a bar on the beach.
Of the restaurants, we went only to the main (buffet). The hall is large, plus on both sides there are tables outside under a canopy. We divided the restaurant into Italian and Russian sides for ourselves, no one told us about this, which did not prevent us from sitting freely both there and there. And the food is the same on both sides, so I don’t see a problem if it were divided evenly. Nobody drove anywhere. Well, it's just desirable to occupy tables in proportion to the company - if there are two of you, they may ask for a five-seater table. Such that there were not enough places, it was only a couple of times. The service is quite smart - they run, clean, lay, lay out actively. If you come to an uncleaned table, you won’t have to wait long, the appliances will be brought and laid out. We were only once told by the waiter that the table we liked was occupied. Not finding others, we went for a walk for an hour. When we came back, the same waiter came across, was indescribably surprised, immediately promptly and politely seated us. And then he recognized us, smiled. In general, quite nice guys work, and not annoying. We can probably see that we are not prim girls and we love to make fun, so they smile, build eyes, joke jokes) It was not always enough except for teaspoons and simple glasses (but there are plenty of glasses)

As for the food . . We didn’t starve for sure, but the assortment of second courses is not large. Rice, potatoes, pasta, some vegetables were always present. Not enough meat and fish. There were salads and just chopped vegetables and gravies (get your own salad). But on the other hand, any pastries, cakes, soufflé s are a clear strong point of the chef. This is a lot and delicious. Of the fruits there were some green (ripe, such a breed, apparently) melons, citrus fruits, bananas, dates, dried apricots, prunes, apples.
They didn’t have much to do with the reception, because. and there were no problems (only on the penultimate day the door refused to open into the room, but this was quickly dealt with).
I only had to talk mainly in stores, and there very many people spoke Russian. For other purposes, my very, very limited English was enough for me - to understand and explain what I want. Long live sign language! )) Communicating with Egyptian sellers is generally fun - such smiles, just give me a reason to neigh)) A bunch of marriage proposals are not only with me ("How much does your mother want camels for you? "), But also with my mother .
Cleaned every day somewhere after dinner, changed the bed. The only thing was that some towels were not provided from time to time. The cleaner alone clung to me thoroughly, but if they get it, then it won’t be a big problem to get rid of it - they hold on to their work there with all their might.
In the main building (entrance from the reception hall) there is a gallery of shops, a pharmacy, an exchanger. For bottled water, we went to a supermarket not far from the hotel (behind the exit, to the right, you can see it there).
In general, there were more Italians in the hotel, but not much less Russian speakers, plus a bit more Germans.
It turned out to be full-fledged 6 days, of which we went on trips for 2 days: to the Ras Mohammed reserve (we watched the mangroves, climbed a high rock, swam with masks over the reef - the fish were right in front of our noses, swam in a salt lake, dined with the Bedouins, and to the souvenir shop)
and to the Orthodox monastery of St. Catherine (a burning bush grows there - an ancient thickening bush) and climbed the Colored Canyon (this is generally an impression, especially narrow paths between sheer stone walls, natural drawings and natural sculptures).
So everything was great! Only the hustle and bustle of airports strained, well, flying for 5 hours is boring. But that's another story. )
