Good afternoon! First time in Egypt. We flew with a group of 7 people. Coral Travel tour operator, UIA air carrier. Flights there and back are on schedule.
When choosing a hotel, I was guided by reviews about it on various sites. Therefore, I will write a detailed review.
When choosing a hotel, the main criteria were: a good sea with a rich reef and no currents, in second place good food and service, and in last place the quality of the rooms. But first things first.

We arrived at the hotel around 9 am. We were immediately put on bracelets and sent to eat - for breakfast. After breakfast, we found out how long to wait until check-in, they said that check-in would be only after 14.00. And they gave us cards for towels. They tried to pay extra and check in earlier (we had a night flight and wanted to relax), but nothing happened, as I understood, there were no free rooms ready for check-in. We were ready in advance for such a development of events - swimsuits, flip flops, shorts were already in hand luggage). So we changed, took towels and went to the beach.
Lunch at the hotel from 14.00, so we first had lunch, and then went to check in. We asked for 3 rooms nearby and our request was fulfilled, they gave rooms in one building, the building was the first to the right of the “dining room” (main restaurant), if you look at the restaurant (numbers started with 3??? ). I must say right away that in my opinion this case is not very good. Our room was on the ground floor, the lamps were not all working (but they were immediately fixed at our request), the renovation in the bathroom left much to be desired. Our companions got rooms on the second floor, including a side view of the sea)), but still the same problems with lamps and repairs in the bathroom. And also their windows overlooked the dining room of a neighboring hotel - something was constantly buzzing there, and in the morning the workers of the dining room were still shouting over each other. (Perhaps they could have gone and asked for a change, but they decided to stay). And in all these rooms they didn’t clean very well, but they could wind something from the towels. The presence or absence of dollars did not affect the quality of cleaning)).
On the third day of our stay at the hotel, something happened to hot water in our room - it was gone, and despite all the efforts of the repairmen, it did not appear. Therefore, we were moved to another room, in the building next (2nd from the dining room) and brought a plate of fruit to the room. This room was better renovated, it was better maintained and cleaner. Mohammed took away from us. Cleaned up well. If we were in the room, asked when it would be possible to clean.
In the fridge free of charge and replenished every day: 4 bottles of water 0.5l + 1 bottle 1.5l, 2 juices and 2 bars. They also change towels every day, there is shampoo, gel and soap - replenish as needed. There were no bathrobes and slippers in our room, but we didn't need them. Our companions had them in their room. Also the bed is clean white. The reviews came across descriptions of rooms with rollaway beds. But I want to note that in all our rooms we had stationary beds with comfortable mattresses.

In general, it should be noted that some rooms require renovation, and some also require general cleaning. Everything is not new, but it works or is immediately repaired. Someone wrote in the reviews that the hair dryer crumbled in their hands, but we were apparently lucky, we didn’t have this, in the second room it even seemed to me that the hair dryer was almost new.
I would also like to note the good work of Grazhyna and Olga's guest relations. For any question, we turned to them, and they helped us. Starting from breakdowns in the rooms and ending with where it is better to buy fruit))). Also, the hotel staff as a whole left a good impression of themselves, no one asked for a tip, everyone was smiling.
Now about nutrition. The food is good, everyone will find something to eat)). We ate mostly in the main restaurant, but it looked like an ordinary dining room. Of course, there were no frills, some dishes were delicious, and some were a complete failure. The meat was chicken, beef, lamb, turkey. There are always two types of meat and two types of fish somewhere. Seafood was but, not every day. On Monday, there is a themed dinner - with seafood (but we didn’t get to it). And sometimes there was tuna, squid, seafood soup. There were plenty of fruits to choose from. For the entire stay at the hotel served: tangerines, grapefruits, bananas, pomegranate, grapes, guava, persimmon, lemon, lime.
For alcohol, local strong drinks are not very good, but you can drink. The beer is light and not bad, it can be draft and bottled. Wine - two types of white and red))) Not very good either, but you can drink a glass.
For service in the dining room: a table is sometimes worth looking for. Therefore, we came either at the beginning of lunch, or an hour after the start. All dishes are replenished if they run out. The chefs are neat and wear gloves. If you didn’t come to the beginning, sometimes you need to wait until the devices are brought. But they are removed very quickly))
The Italian chef should also be noted. Dishes from him for an amateur. His pasta is al dente)) I personally liked almost everything he cooked.
In a la carte restaurants, we liked Turkish more - better food and service. I also had a DR that day. Guest-relationship through us sent a letter of congratulations for the cake to this restaurant. The cake was delicious.

Italian did not impress - we ordered a seafood menu and a meat menu. The presentation is beautiful, but unfortunately not very tasty.
We went on an excursion - everyone was given a dry ration (the same was given for early check-out from the hotel). Of course he is sad. A bun, an incomprehensible margarine-butter, unfortunately there was nothing to spread it on a bun, cucumber / tomato, banana / tangerine, maybe I forgot something.
We returned from the tour at 2 am - we were supposed to have a late dinner. He was brought without a reminder to only one room out of three.
Now about the sea)) Sea inhabitants are present, there are many of them swimming in schools and not only)) Therefore, a mask is needed). Corals, unfortunately, are more dead than alive. But tourists also help them die: I saw a guy who constantly stood on corals, as a result, one broke off, and this despite the fact that he was repeatedly told that this should not be done. The main advantage of entering the water is a short wooden pontoon. For example, on the right was the Monte Carlo hotel, which has a plastic pontoon - the slightest wave and it began to “dance”. There are currents in the sea, but the lifeguard always answers and shows in which direction to swim, if you swim in the wrong direction, he whistles)). Lifeguard is good too. Thanks to him, we swam from morning until sunset. At the nearby Alloha Hotel, the lifeguard often closed the pontoon early and opened it later. One day there was a storm and we swam on the shore like children in the sand))). By the way, from the shore, entering the water knee-deep, maximum just above the knee - you won’t be able to swim. Therefore, if you are with children or swim poorly, then consider this fact. From the pontoon - there is immediately depth + current + some people like to crowd on the ladder-descent into the water. There were always enough sun loungers for everyone, regardless of the time of arrival at the sea.

The hotel area is large well-groomed, there were few mosquitoes, but they were poisoned. Watering was, as I understood it, with ordinary water, and not “recycling”, since there was no smell from it.
The animation is good - if you don't want to get bored, then they won't let you get bored)) If you want privacy, then just ignore them. Evening animation is weak. I was impressed by the guy who performed with the national dance. The rest is mostly an amateur circle))).
At the end of the holiday, there was an accident on the power line and the lights went out in the hotels. It happened at night. Hotels ran generators, including ours. Therefore, by the morning the system of the hotel functioning was almost adjusted, except for the air-conditioning of the dining room. For some reason, the air conditioning was not turned on there on the second day (we hooted further). This was a big minus, since the room is not ventilated and it is stuffy in it, and it is also hot outside. Also, I can not help but note that 5 of our company had problems with the intestines. We think that this is still acclimatization and new water. (They didn’t drink water from the tap and didn’t even brush their teeth with it). Antimicrobials helped.
In general, the hotel is not bad, but needs renovation and general cleaning.

Still, this is more likely not a hotel, but a tour operator. You may have to deal with representatives of the tour operator Coral Travel. They are not exactly nice people. They begin to load and escalate that without them it’s impossible to even take a step on the bus from the airport, but it’s good that it’s only 20 minutes to go to the hotel. Further, at a meeting with the guide (we had Mansur), this unpleasant communication continues. He intimidated and tried to sell excursions. Manipulated with open and closed registration. Allegedly, if you want to leave the hotel, you will be given an open check-in, but if you don’t want to, then it will be closed. Next, it was necessary to fill out a questionnaire - what excursions we will go on. When the tourists started arguing with him, he finally said that if you fill out a questionnaire and there is an item on which excursions you are going to go on, then you can write down at least all the excursions there, this will not mean that you are obliged to pay for them.
