We go with the family at the same time for the fourth year - we walk the schoolgirl on vacation. Last year we were in Savoy, we didn't like it (empty overpayment), but we liked the bay, so we gave in, although we were going to the Sheraton (we liked it there more). Why do I write with titles - to make it clear that they saw different things in Egypt and in principle, after reading the reviews and dividing them into 8, were ready for anything.
And now the specifics. Having paid 500 bucks less than last year, taking into account all the increases and shocks, we got, in principle, not a bad vacation.
What was good: of course, $ 20 for three passports will not change anything, but for the same amount, but in each passport we received a well-located, freshly painted room with access directly to the beach (very convenient because my daughter got up later and went to we did not need to wake her up and wait). The second building, if you are interested.
The guy cleaned up with us flawlessly!

Even with a daily change of sheets, not just pillowcases! ! ! ! ! But this is, of course, the human factor and pure luck.
There are no complaints about nutrition. I liked it even more than in Savoy, although there was no pork, but fish, crabs, some shells, all grilled, mmmm. . . Here the truth is one thing but - at lunch lemons strangely disappeared, that is in the morning and in the evening they are, and at lunch they are not present ((But it is difficult to remain hungry, even to children.
Now about the main thing, that is, about the bad.
The main thing that stunned me - how can you make up inventory in 2-3 years? ? ? On the beach, towels are stuck to the holes, sunbeds are ruined, nails stick out of them, glasses are broken, dishes are broken in the cafeteria, all the walls are patched. I'm shocked by this and the overall impression is very lame. (The room was clean and new towels and furniture. )
Well, how not to say about compatriots.
Not the Russian main evil on vacation, although they too, but our Ukrainian "as I do not eat, so bite" - it's something! !!
I haven't seen such food battles in a long time!
I will not say anything about animation - I do not care, the bay is very interesting, I advise you to sail away, where there are fewer people, many interesting specimens, including many predators, but they are harmless, if you do not climb them.
The staff, as everywhere, is not a fountain, but I did not notice the blatant atrocities.
In general, I repeat, for the money we spent, and especially those we saved - we rested well.
If you know how to close your eyes for a while and understand where it is expensive and what is cheap - you can go safely, but it is better to take alcohol with you - there is soooo drunk, in my opinion, even worse than in Sheraton, where local drinks were also poured.
