We've vacationed in Egypt many times, mostly in good five-star hotels. We took a chance on this hotel, despite the terrible reviews on various websites and a very low rating, because of the unanimous opinion about the beauty of the coral reef. Furthermore, people often wrote that you can only swim in a small area near the pontoon, which is completely unacceptable for me, as I'm used to swimming long and far. The risk paid off, and it turned out to be not so scary, but only if you want to enjoy the colorful underwater world! Our room was on the 6th floor, with a stunning panoramic view of the sea! Having swum the entire bay to the Four Seasons Hotel and back, I can confidently say that the reef at the Siva Hotel is the most beautiful, vibrant, and colorful in this bay! Incidentally, no one whistled at me anywhere along the entire trip. Swimming in that direction is not very convenient, as there are numerous ropes and buoys separating the beach of one hotel from the neighboring ones. Our hotel's pontoon is short and inconvenient. Luckily, the sea was calm all week, but I imagine they close it at the slightest swell. . So, to the left of the pontoon, you can swim as far as you can! Even all the way to Ras Nazran Bay! There are no buoys or restrictions! The reef immediately beyond the pontoon is already beautiful, and the further you go, the more beautiful it is and the more fish there are. The hotel has its fair share of drawbacks, of course, but they're not enough to ruin our vacation. At least we were quite satisfied!
