This review is intended for residents of Russia, fans of the Red Sea and Egypt. For people who use every opportunity to get there, even when it is very difficult to do so. My husband and I are just like that! And when in November there was a choice between Thailand or Egypt, we chose Sharm with our favorite hotel Stella Di Mare Resort & Spa Sharm El Sheikh 5 *.
After reading positive reviews about the road, and trusting a fairly reputable tour operator TEZ TOUR, we decided to fly through Cairo. As promised, 5 hours on the road, on a comfortable large bus, and we are there... But in reality, everything is different. About this in detail, so that everyone understands what really awaits you on such a journey...
We took off at night on a regular Aeroflot flight Moscow-Cairo, flew 4 hours 10 minutes, the plane was spacious, clean, comfortable, everything was super here! A guide from TEZ TOUR met us in Cairo and took us to the minibus, which was packed with our tourists to the eyeballs. For eleven seats there were two drivers, one guide and 7 passengers. To describe the whole horror of the trip, I will note that the seats in the minibus and the distances between the seats are designed only for children and people with a dystrophic physique. It’s a torment for adults to sit there, and if you turn on the air conditioner, it’s very windy, because. the room is small, when turned off, it became unbearably stuffy and hot.
The trip lasted more than 8 hours and this, as they said, we were lucky, on average this trip takes 10-12 hours. We made only two stops along the way, the first for 30 minutes in some dirty roadside eatery for locals, the second for 10 minutes for a toilet in a place even worse than the first time. As you understand, everything at the stops was paid, even the toilet.
We drove at night, stopped five times at checkpoints, where the military checked all the cars, it was impossible to fall asleep, the road was simply completely broken in places and we rode like on a roller coaster. In general, they arranged a hellish road for us, we arrived absolutely exhausted, tired and angry. Only one thought saved me that ahead was a vacation in a wonderful hotel in Egypt and the sea, the warm Red Sea with amazing fish)))
About the hotel I can only write enthusiastic words.
Stella Di Mare Resort & Spa Sharm El Sheikh 5 * is a great hotel. Everything here is chic, a beautiful building, staff and service at a very high level, almost everyone speaks and understands Russian (like at home !!! ).
Excellent accommodation, away from all hotels, closed on all sides, very clean and well-groomed area, with a perfect lawn with many flowering trees and shrubs. There are 3 swimming pools on the territory for every taste, the beaches are very comfortable, sun loungers and umbrellas are new, there are plenty of places on the beach, beach boys very quickly brought towels and pillows for sunbeds, helped vacationers to comfortably settle down, instantly brought drinks and fed everyone with a spoon of melon, which is very nice))).
The sea is clean, azure, we were lucky in mid-November on land 27 and at sea 27 degrees. The reef is average, but there are a lot of fish and they are very beautiful. The entry is very comfortable for Sharm with two pontoons on both sides of the beach and in the middle there is sand for non-swimmers. The animation is quite active, yoga, water polo, aqua aerobics, evening shows and disco. There is a very decent fitness room and a large good spa complex (sauna, hammam, massage, hydromassage pool).
Our room overlooked Naama Bay and the spa pool, the view is mesmerizing, especially in the evening. The room itself is very spacious with good quality furniture, TV and plumbing))), everything worked, cleaned very well, wet cleaning and linen change every day!! ! The room has everything you need, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, kettle, crockery, water, tea, coffee, etc.
The food was excellent, for Egypt this is more the exception than the rule. Big bow and respect to the chefs. All dishes are delicious, high quality and fresh. Such a choice that the eyes ran wide. We had only breakfast and dinner, but we were so full that it was enough. The breakfasts were very rich: cereals, yogurts, omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes and pancakes, pastries, cheeses, sausages, sausages, fruits, juices, tea, coffee, fruits, you can’t list everything. For dinner there was a huge number of dishes, from delicacies eyes ran wide, several types of seafood, fish, meat, chicken, salads, greens, vegetables, fruits, desserts of 20 types and much more. The food was very tasty and varied. From 20.00 it was pleasant to drink tea and watch a show program or listen to world hits in a live performance.

Rest flew by in a moment, upset only one thing, thoughts about the way back. And there were some unpleasant surprises. TEZ TOUR forms all tours to Egypt in such a way that we flew to Egypt on a regular flight and arrived at the hotel in the morning, without prejudice to the paid first day at the hotel. But they took us for a day, to the detriment of the last, fully paid by us days. That is, we bought a tour for 8 nights, and they pick us up after 7 nights at 10 am and the fully paid last day disappears. This is, of course, UNLIMITED.
We flew on a regular flight back, which runs daily at the same time and is 80% full, there were no problems with tickets and no one interfered with organizing the return trip without damaging the paid days, but no... The return trip also took 8.5 hours, we were not fed, there were two stops, everything is paid there, and the toilet too. We were brought to the airport at 18:00 and until 2:00 am we sat at the airport waiting for our flight. 8 HOURS AT THE AIRPORT!!! ! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE... 6 of which we sat in the lobby before passport control on plastic seats...
It was very difficult both physically and mentally. If we had been warned about such a road and the real cost of the tour, then we would never have chosen this tour. Reliable information about the tour, time and conditions on the way to the airfield was hidden from us.
Therefore, ALL who are planning a trip to Egypt through TEZ TOUR, think very much, this is a DECEIT and FRAUD!!!!!
