I fully agree with the author of "SHOR". We were at the hotel in January 2007 with a company for 230 USD. Take alcohol and snacks with you for the evening, and during the day dive at Sunseta Beach (no worse than local dive sites for beauty), plus dives from yachts for divers - and relaxation is guaranteed!
Breakfast is monotonous, but if you have enough scrambled eggs and croissants, it is quite possible to get enough, which cannot be said about dinner. Dinner strikes with a variety of fresh salads, hot, magnificent desserts. Of course, there is a specific taste of dishes due to spices: curry, zira... But you are in the East!
There may be mosquitoes in the room - take fumigants. The staff is friendly, although in Russian there is no belmes, except for guides, but with a modest knowledge of English, it is quite possible to communicate. In the off season, there are few vacationers - less "cargo". During the day t = 25-27, in the evening it is cooler - 18, but for our people after the January minuses it is just grace, and the Red Sea is always warm.

And if we already compare hotels, then 3 * CREATIVE BADAWIA SHARM (we were only in 2 hotels) left just an unpleasant impression: a terribly smoky room (during the week of our stay it did not disappear), the view from the room to the construction site plus a nearby working generator, obvious lack of friendliness on the part of the staff towards Russian speakers, the kitchen is much poorer, and yet they paid 360 USD. (True in season).
So Sunset justifies itself in terms of price-quality!
