We were in Sharm for the second time, last year in SunRise Island View, this year in Sultane. We had a great time both times, but I want to compare. About hotels. Sultan and SunRise seem to be equally quoted, but here's the difference:

Sultan is located facing not to the south, but to the east, which is why the sun is somewhere on the side-behind, somehow unnatural.
SunRise is located in a civilized place, opposite the market, you can go outside, walk around the neighboring hotels (Savoy and Concord), they go past the minibuses. On the territory in the evening it is very pleasant to sit at the restaurant with a cocktail, here is the main pool, there is live music, mostly Russian, whoever wants to dance. This was not the case in Sultan and it is located on the outskirts, next to it is only PIRAMIZA, a very large and, it seemed to us, stupid hotel, and they also have a pier for large boats right behind the beach.

The entrance to the sea in SunRise is only from the pontoon (there are 2 of them), but we like it more and immediately in depth. The beach in SunRise is made in tiers, cozy.
There is a pontoon in Sultane 1, there are a lot of people on the beach, we went to a separate small beach to the left, there were 10 people there, but we crawled into the sea knee-deep 30 meters to the depth. Lots of fish here and there.

As for feeding: we overate, but in SunRise the choice of dishes is more than 2 times.

At SunRise in bars, I got hooked on juice cocktails, you look at the composition on the menu, there is a menu and that’s it, all signs are in Russian. This was not the case with Sultan. But the rooms win, they are better finished, the territory is also well-groomed, beautiful.

Even in SunRise, bracelets do not cling (in Sultane I got bored in 10 days). And my employees were south of Hurghada, the sea was 27, we have 22, all the same, in December we had to move south, we had nothing to do at sea after 15:00, the breeze was cool. But I'm already looking forward to my next trip!
