The hotel almost falls short of the declared category, I would say, three with a minus.
The staff in general is calm, you can’t really call it friendly, but there were no problems either. One and a half people out of ten speak Russian, English is a little better, which, coupled with my broken, miserable English, usually made it possible to overcome the language barrier. Couldn't really get the drain in the toilet tank fixed, but I don't think the language barrier has anything to do with it. Plumbing, it seems, is generally a weak link, if not in the entire Arab world, then certainly in Egypt. There are no special complaints about the furniture, if you don’t find fault, they cleaned it with a solid C mark, regardless of the tip, but if you wash the sink and other things at the very beginning, it will be clean all the time.
The food is weird. Breakfast of terrible sausages, boiled eggs and buns with jam. Fruit appeared rarely and little. You can eat sausages only with burnt vodka or from hunger, eggs get bored in a week, there are rolls with jam. The so-called tea also does not stand up to criticism, we took a kettle and a thermos with us, and brewed our own all the time, and this saved us. Dinner is quite good, in some places even good, but only a little late, at 19.30, a couple of hours earlier such a menu would be great.

Everywhere in Sharm there are flies during the day and mosquitoes in the evening and at night, and neither of them cares how many stars your hotel has. Of course, you don’t need to take Velcro from flies with you, but there’s nothing to do there without a fumigator.
The beach ("Terrazina", in the bay of Sharm El Maya) is far away, a free bus runs once a day, at 10.00 there and back at 17.00. On foot, 25-30 minutes, by taxi for 2 bucks - 10 minutes. Behind the "terrazina" in 15 minutes on foot - a wild beach with beautiful corals and fish. Boats with divers come there, who are promised a dive in the Ras Mohammed reserve. A more beautiful beach (city "Reef Beach") can be found if you move from the hotel across the main street (almost strictly to the east) the same 25 minutes on foot or 2 bucks in a taxi, there is an entrance fee to the beach - 25 e. pounds or 5 bucks, For every day it makes no sense - a little expensive. Shopping - in the old town, there is also a "metro" store - like our "five" - I recommend it.
The guide from the Tez-tour did not interfere with rest at all, it was impossible to find him even when necessary, well, God be his judge. It is better to buy excursions on the street - on the way to Reef Beach we found the Grand Tour agency, and in the old town - Zekri Tour, their prices are close to the minimum, from Tez-tour or from Pegasus - about twice or even more more expensive (for comparison, a trip to Jerusalem costs: Tez tour - $ 180, Grand tour - $ 75), while the quality of the excursions is absolutely the same, and we must keep in mind that at best you will get somewhere half of what was promised, no matter where the ticket didn't buy.
Summary: a cheap hotel for independent, cheerful and unpretentious tourists
