Rested in this hotel with my wife twice, in the spring and autumn of 2015. We chose this hotel for the price and beauty of the reef, as well as for the absence of winds on the beach at these times of the year, which is very important. We were convinced of this when we went to the lighthouse and saw red flags on all the hotels on the left behind Melia Sinai.
I have never seen a better reef, although I have been to Sharm, Hurghada and Makkadi Bay several times. And this confirmation is that for 35 dollars. 10-12 ships bring people to this hotel to swim on the reef and look at the abundance of fish. Vacationers from Lipetsk warned us about this on our first trip, when planes from the Russian Federation were still flying there. The rooms are the most ordinary with everything you need and I will not focus on attention.

The food was good, no one went hungry. Yes, it is different from when there were a lot of people, and not like the last time 80 people out of 800 that the hotel can accommodate.
In autumn and spring, we basically take breakfast and dinner, because. the sun sets at 4:45 pm and the beaches close immediately. And if you go for lunch, then there is no time at all to relax by the sea. For breakfast and dinner, they took food from the restaurant, usually vegetables, fruits, which are not enough at these times of the year. Well, their local swill did not interest us. Whatever they wanted to drink, they took with them in a dutik or from Kyiv in their luggage.
The area is small but cozy. I never swam in the pool, there was no desire, time and need. We went to the beach by bus only once, and then for a photo shoot. Walking to the beach is very close among palm trees and flowers.
The last time the animation was only from Ukrainians. Everything is standard repetitive, but you can visit.
In the hotel itself, they rarely walked in the evenings, because. We constantly went after dinner to Soho Square, where there is free Wi-Fi, shops, cafes and where to take a walk, or just relax by the color-musical fountain. When buying fruit, and the prices there are at first glance very cheap, look at the rate that the seller drives into the check. The scales are correct. Cheats on our brother on the course.
In general, I will say that do not bother and go to this hotel. Price-quality ratio is just great. And the beauty of the sea will reshape all the shortcomings of the hotel and food, even if it is very important for you.
Rest is necessary and worth it, despite the difficult situation in the country and the exchange rate!
