This is my second time in Egypt, last year I also rested in Sharm, but in the top five, this year we decided to save money and that's what happened.
I will be brief, I liked it, I liked it very much.
Now in order.
Transfer.
We took a ticket from Tez-Tour. We were met at the airport, taken to the hotel in a comfortable minibus, along the way there was a brief excursion about the history of Egypt.
Settlement.
The meeting guide took us to the hotel and handed us over to the reception; )
While the registration cards were filled in at the counter, they brought us “juices”, I didn’t want to drink this yupi, but the boy who brought them continued to offer them with such goodwill that I had to drink this painted muck.
We arrived at about one o'clock in the afternoon and we were offered to go to dinner first, and then go to the room. After dinner, the porter took us to the room, asked if everything was fine with us and showed us how to use the safe. He worked his "buck" honestly.
Number.

We traveled in four. My wife and I and my mother-in-law with my son. Our room was small and overlooking the wall of the neighboring hotel, but we must say that nevertheless the view was not bad palm trees, lawn and flowers. The mother-in-law got a bigger room with a view of the children's pool.
The rooms are clean, everything works. We had a bottle of water in the minibar - my mother-in-law does not. After reading the reviews, we brought a 2-liter bottle from home with us, so we shared our water from the mini-bar, and it seems to me in vain. Since the guide complained 2 times about the lack of water in the room, but they did not wait for a new bottle, in my opinion, the employee, having found a branded bottle of water in the mini-bar, reasonably believed that the water had already been issued.
But these are all trifles.
Ants and other insects were not found in the room, although the rooms were on the 1st floor.
That is, they were not there upon arrival, on the territory of the hotel, especially in the evening, mosquitoes and all midges climb out. With due negligence, they can be let into the room, so if you want to sit on the veranda in the evening, stock up on repellent, and a fumigator will also come in handy.
Nutrition.
The food is, of course! I got the impression that somewhere there are courses in which the main subject is "How to cook so that tourists do not eat a lot"; )
It's not really that bad, but the food is really tasteless. Although I must say that I am a fan of fatty and spicy food. Eggplants were very good, fries are simply impossible to spoil, baked potatoes are also quite edible, in general, no one will leave hungry, I think everyone will find something to their taste.
On the 2nd day you will figure it out; ) Also, everything is edible, everything that the chef cooks and everything that is handed out in portioned pieces. I read indignant reviews about what a person stands and cuts off meat / fish in small portions. Yes, it cuts off, but small, but who's stopping you from asking to put more. Personally, I had no problems with this, and if I wanted a large portion, they never refused me.
The same applies to the chef's morning scrambled eggs. You need to beat 3 eggs - tell him about it and do not take 3 plates with you.

Regarding the service in the restaurant - we tried to come to the opening, but when we came later, we never ran into a problem with the place, although there were 4 of us. You have to go for drinks yourself, but I can’t attribute this to shortcomings.
Dirty plates are removed from the table promptly, the waiters are polite and smiling.
Having dinner on the veranda, I was so impressed by the promptness of the waiter and his friendliness that I simply could not leave a tip.
There was no variety in fruits. Apples, oranges, melon and dates. Baking is simply unbeatable.
In general, I would put 3 for food, but given that my culinary preferences are very specific, I put 4.
Beach.
I won’t say anything about the pool, because I don’t understand its meaning when there is a beautiful sea nearby. The beach is not very big but there were places. Our schedule was as follows: at 7-00 tomorrow and to the beach, at 11-12 we leave the beach and again appear there at 4 o'clock. In general, with this schedule, we had no problems with sunbeds, I don’t know at other times, but also at 11 when we left the beach there were free sunbeds.
The sea is great. Very beautiful coral, super fish. We swam towards the lighthouse (towards Melia Sinai, the beaches are adjacent to each other), saw the Picasso Renecant, the Napoleon fish, the sea devil, the crocodile fish, the stingray, and a bunch of other interesting things.
At noon, a turtle was seen from the side of an abandoned beach, though only once : ( If you walk along the edge of the coast along an abandoned beach, you can see hermit crabs, crabs, starfish. If you walk in shallow water, look under your feet, there are a lot of all living creatures.
How far is the beach from the hotel. Yes, you have to go, but it doesn’t bother you at all, the road to the sea goes downhill, of course it’s lazy to climb up in the heat, but the bass runs every 15 minutes, you can wait for it at the bar; )
Bar.
Enjoyed the shisha bar and the beach bar. Lobby bar only for red bracelets on the ultra all system.

I read negative reviews about the color differentiation of bracelets - I did not notice a difference in relation. On the beach, drinks are poured into plastic disposable cups and often, if it is beer, there is half a glass of foam. Not always true, but often. In front of me, the guy on the beach gave the bartender a buck and the bartender honestly poured him a beer without foam, well, there’s nothing to say about who pays... ; )
However, again, no one bothers to take a few glasses of beer or something else. The bar by the sea was used by me as a pit stop on the way to the shisha bar. In a shisha bar, I left 1-2 dollars a day in tips, not for self-interest; )
True, I received some goodies from this, but they were not something fundamental, so it was just a gesture of my goodwill. The "buns" included glass glasses (if they were available), and the bartenders also memorized the ratio of gin and tonic that I needed.
I repeat that all this can be obtained without paying extra, which I have repeatedly witnessed. In the evening, when there were a lot of people, I witnessed that the bartender gave out 2 glasses in one hand, apparently there were not enough dishes, they also asked to drink at the bar and not take the glasses to the room.
Cleaning.
Cleaning was daily, change of linen 1 time for the entire stay. Frankly, I do not see much need for a daily change of underwear. For those for whom this is important - in no case do not visit this hotel.
Animation.
There were 2 times, it is clear that the people are trying but not impressed. On the beach at 10, exercises, then an oriental dance lesson. I can't say more about the animation.
Tours.
Last year we took an excursion to Ras Mohammed, frankly, we were not impressed. They didn’t let me swim with a mask normally, they promised mangroves - they didn’t show it. As I later found out, there is only one excursion to the mangroves - the bus.
This time we took a sea excursion to the island of Tiran. I liked it very much. However, the organization was a little let down, we were picked up at 7.30 from the hotel and brought to the port. And somewhere around an hour we had to wait for the boat. But then everything was just great. I especially enjoyed snorkeling near the sunken ship.

The tour costs $50 and includes 1 scuba dive. For an additional $25, you can dive again. It seems like they even saw a shark, but I didn’t have time to look at it, it hid in the corals and didn’t stick out anymore.
Helpful Hints
1. Water. We were frightened with water, water was used sparingly, since after the opening of the restaurant and bars there were no problems with water. When we went to the old city, we bought water for $1 for 1.5 liters. How sad it was to find out on the penultimate day that exactly the same water was sold in a shop near the shisha bar, also for $ 1.
2. Soho. Last year, we rested in a hotel located in the center of Soho, this year we also decided to nostalgic and went. We went on foot. It was a mistake. We went out in the evening when it got dark and got a little lost. They forgot to take water on the road, and this was the second mistake, in general, they came to Soho tired and didn’t want anything.
Take a taxi. From the hotel to soho it costs 5 dollars.
3. Old city. It seems to me that it is more convenient to take a taxi at the hotel. Plus: Taxi will bring you and take you back and the driver is guaranteed to know the way to the hotel. Cons: The taxi will be waiting at a certain time and by this time you should try to be there.
Bargain. When ordering a taxi at the hotel, we were told that a taxi back and forth would cost $ 30, I was immediately offended by them and said that I would rather catch a taxi on the road and explained that last year from a neighboring hotel the same trip cost us $ 20, as a result we went by hotel taxi for 20.
Similarly, it makes sense to bargain in the market. Swimming mask: asked for 35 dollars - gave for 15. Hookah: asked for 15 - gave for 6.
A little advice: bring down the price, if the seller does not agree to your price, turn around and leave. After you, he will either shout the price lower and lower as you move away, or he will return to his place. This is a sure sign that he will definitely not throw anything off and this is most likely the real price for which you can purchase the item.

That's like all. I hope that I didn't miss anything and I will repeat again. I liked the rest very much. And if you take into account the price of the hotel, then there are simply no minuses; )
