I have been resting in Sherm for the 3rd time (before that, Sierra, Rehana 4 *). When choosing a hotel, I give priority to the reef and its inhabitants. I am very satisfied, the coral gardens are beautiful, the most diverse and unforgettable. There are also a lot of marine inhabitants - in addition to the most common fish, corydalis, stingrays, crocodile fish, eagle and more than one, Napoleon, clown fish, moray eels, turtles early in the morning to the left of the pontoon, etc. , which sometimes interfered with my long-distance swims. By the way, to the right of the pontoon there are more living creatures, and to the left, starting from the observation tower and further amazing corals (BE VERY CAREFUL HERE - STRONG CURRENT, WEAR FINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) The beach is normal, sunbeds enough, the bar is nearby. We rented an underwater camera in the diving center of the Melia Sinai hotel for $ 40 for 1 day.
The hotel is really new and nice. The room was given at the request of the 1st floor overlooking the pool for $ 30 (No. 2003). Everything is nearby and the reception, a restaurant, an amphitheater, a bus to the beach, shops and a swimming pool. It's noisy, but it didn't bother me. The hotel has a lot of rooms, but the territory is small.

The food is monotonous and not a large assortment (in comparison with Rehana), but they were always full. Drinks are local everywhere (it is impossible to drink juice - yupi; cola, fanta, sprite, tea, coffee; alcohol - whiskey, gin, sambuca, brandy; wine in a restaurant - sometimes diluted with water).
I swam in the pool a couple of times, by the evening it was cloudy. For this number of people, one pool is not enough. The lobby bar is only for red bracelets - for Ukraine, Russia, Poland - such tours are not sold - ((( Therefore, in the only bar open after 18-00 there is a crowd of people and angry bartenders. Shows are good every day at 9-45. And Animation works, I was mostly on the beach - gymnastics, darts, belly dancing.
I did not go on excursions this year. Ride a taxi to the Old Market (35 pounds), Naama Bay (25 pounds), Soho (10-15 pounds). Gasoline they cost 1 liter - 2 pounds !!!!!!!!!!!
Papyrus was bought in the Melia Sinai shop (near the diving center) I recommend everyone to say hello from Marina and Nikolai.
Bottom line: For the money - a great holiday, beautiful sea-)))
