Recently returned from Sharm. Rested with my husband (young couple). There are no beginners in foreign holidays, there is something to compare with.
We chose the hotel for a long time. The main criteria were:
1) Coral reef (fans to watch underwater life);
2) Measured rest;
3) Relatively new hotel with good service.
And now a little about everything!
Service.
Initially booked a room with a sea view, which was received upon arrival at the hotel. Cleaning in the room every day (at 4-). For $2 they made elephants and crocodiles.
Hotel.
It seemed that the hotel was covered by a tsunami a couple of times. Or maybe there was a termite infestation, as most of the "furniture interior" showed signs of abuse (chips, cracks, scuff scratches). But the building is still standing, which pleases. The paving stones along the perimeter of the main building are hewn out of the rock - all the shoes are rubbish! Lovers of a clean environment - not here! What pleased - a lot of greenery on the territory of the hotel.
The pool is big enough. Enough of it for everyone, even sparrows! They just happily splash around in a flock of 10-15 pieces. in the waterfall that feeds the pool. Once every 5 days, the territory is covered with a diesel plant to repel insects. Athas! Save who can! )
At the end of August there were about 20-30% Russians, 40% Europeans, 30% Arabs. BUT on the night of August 31 to September 1, the situation changed dramatically due to the end of Ramadan. 25% of the Russians were exchanged for camels, and on September 1.60% of the Arabs were already in the hotel! And on this occasion, a great feast of the Arabs took place in the canteen-"restaurant"! Not only the local sausage was eaten, but also unripe dates! Since that time, the dining room has become like a gypsy camp: screams, songs and hum.
The presence of the Arabs was felt EVERYWHERE, especially as roommates. They managed to turn on a series of local topics at full volume at 5 in the morning, constantly commenting on the main character at the top of their voices.
And their kids at that time rushed headlong along the corridors, trying to wake up all living things in the hotel. In order to drown out all this chaos, all the doors were caulked with their own hands.
