After a year and a half of working days, I decided to take a well-deserved vacation... Loving the sea and the underwater world, the choice fell on Sharm - el - Sheikh... (I had not been to Egypt before)... Since the decision to organize a summer vacation for myself in winter was spontaneous , neither friends nor relatives could make a company... And so... I decided... To go "in the summer" alone... To which most of my acquaintances considered me crazy: "What are you, a young blonde, herself to Egypt. . . You will be stolen there, resold a million times, etc. " But the desire to get to know the country and plunge into the magical underwater world overshadowed all the comments... I chose the Tiran Island hotel, got on the plane and after 4 hours incredibly warm sea air filled my lungs... What pleased me was the hotel is located near the airport, it’s quite a ride small, but close placement did not cause any discomfort at the hotel... So I got to the reception desk at 11.00. The guide who accompanied the tourists to the hotels said: "check-in at 14.00, but such a beautiful one, maybe he settled right away"... Alas, beauty in this case did not save the world) but saved him $ 20... I wanted a room with a sea view , but I was provided with a view of the desert, the road and the mountains, which at first upset me a little, and then, on the contrary, I enjoyed the fact that every morning and evening I had the opportunity to watch the planes take to the sky... Only when I got the money , after all, I was settled immediately upon arrival... The first day the Egyptians' super-attention was very annoying, but the very next day I realized that they value their work too much (which, in a situation of complete unemployment in the country, is considered very prestigious) and this is argued such attention... But there will be no pestering, eating with a glance - nothing will happen if you do not give a reason... Therefore, if you decide to go to Egypt alone, you can safely do it...
And now briefly about the pros and cons... And let's start, of course, with a pleasant
1. Sea. . . To say that this is just a different space, to say nothing. . . This is a magical world in which you dive and contemplate the rich underwater world. . . In addition, while relaxing on the Adriatic Sea the year before last, which is considered the cleanest, the Red Sea is much more transparent and mirror-like. . .

The beach, which belongs to the Tiran Island Hotel, is one of the best in Sharm. . . Tourists are brought here on boats for money so that they can swim with masks. . . Speaking of masks. . . When going to the Red Sea, be sure to take a mask with you, since without it there is nothing to do there, and it is expensive to buy on the spot...
2. Service at the hotel. . . The staff is polite, friendly. . . And the atmosphere itself is very cozy. . .
3. Food. . . I read some negative reviews about the food before the flight. . . Honestly, I don't know what my appetite should be, so that it would not be possible to satisfy it with what was served. . . The food is not as varied as, for example, in Europe, but I personally have never had such a thing that I ate the same thing for lunch and dinner... there are always a lot of vegetables, fruits, meat, fish and sweets
4. The possibility of bargaining... You can buy something for an amount five times less than it was originally set (Egypt is a very poor country and the Egyptians earn as they can... For example, once I didn’t even want to bargain... It’s a pity for them somehow it became... I overpaid at times, but I didn’t get upset at all... On the contrary)
MINUSES:
1. Alcohol tastes bad
2. Pool without heating
Things to keep in mind:

2. In no case do not book excursions with a guide, as you will overpay 3-5 times... Immediately on the beach there is a tourist tent in which the same excursions are many times cheaper (and whatever the hotel guide tells you, this is his work, no matter how hard he tries to convince him to buy excursions from him, don’t be fooled, as there is one bus in which they put everyone, regardless of who and where they took excursions and are taken)
3. be polite with the Egyptians, do not be rude and they will repay the same coin
4. They say things can go missing with a number. I don’t know, I had an iPad, a professional camera for a whole rest in an ordinary nightstand and nothing went anywhere)

5. the fact that January-February is the coldest time of the year. . . Perhaps, but for me this weather was the most ideal. . . It's not hot, the water is warm, sunbathe as much as you want. . . The only thing is that at this time they have sunset 17.00. . . And so I arrived tanned beyond recognition and no burns (but it won’t hurt to take sunscreen with you)

If you want to give gifts to your loved ones, you can go either to the Old Town (for souvenirs, oils, etc. ) or to Soho, which is more like a European district with a shopping center, a brand of clothes... Difference: in the Old Town they terribly stick but For a penny, you can buy whatever you want. Nobody bothers in Soho, but at times more expensive
7. If you want to buy something in Duty Free, it is better to do it in your own country, because in Egypt the prices are more expensive and the choice is not so big. . .
