We got just on that "flood" about which all the media were trumpeting here. Well, what I want to say is that there was no particular natural disaster as they painted it, although for the Arabs it was, because, according to their own admission, such a downpour with a thunderstorm was the first time in 11 years, for us, it’s an ordinary spring downpour with thunderstorm. The only thing that was scary was when we got into this thunderstorm on the plane, we got really scared, people were very nervous, but thank God everything worked out. So about the hotel, from this downpour, all the roofs to the first floor leaked and in some places even the ceiling on the floor turned out to be, the first day there was knee-deep water in the corridors, stucco molding fell off on the facade of the hotel, the pools were all closed for almost a week, i. because of this downpour they had no electricity for 2 days (the hotels worked on autonomous generators) and even there was no mobile communication in the whole city! Some pools were opened only on the fifth day and then not all. If not for this adventure, then the rest could be called perfect. They settled in a good room overlooking the pool, i. e. the courtyard, because. the sea view is a view of the road and the construction site (the first line is still under construction). The food was good, there was always chicken and beef, a lot of vegetable dishes, salads, pastries, everything was in order with fruits, although tangerines and oranges could be “snatched” mainly only at the beginning of the meal, because the dining room was packed to the limit . When we were already flying back, we heard a lot of reviews from people who rested in other hotels that the food was bad, there was very little meat, there was almost no fruit, in our hotel everything was ok with this. The bars were all working, even though the pools weren't working. The staff is friendly, the cleaning of the rooms is normal, the towels were changed on demand when they were thrown on the floor. We got there for my birthday, so they even brought a cake to the room. I read a lot of reviews that they don’t like Russians there, but for myself I concluded that if you are friendly with them, then they are with you too. The behavior of a company of young German women, who behaved inadequately even by our standards, screamed, squealed, hung on the peasants, just killed on the spot. And after that, the Russians are accused of lack of culture. Lots of older couples, mostly Germans and English (at least they spoke English). The beach is good, there were always enough sun loungers, towels too, very beautiful fish and corals, if you look in a mask, you don’t even need to dive, just put your head under the water, and they rub right against your legs. The bus went to the beach every half hour, but we often walked there on foot, only 15 minutes walk. Even more pleasant than by bus, because it is open and when it rides it is cool from the wind, but this is because we rested in January. The sun warmed strongly, but if the breeze blew, then in the shade it was possible to freeze. We took excursions at the hotel, but since we only went to Cairo and on a bathyscaphe, although if they were taken in Naama Bay, it would be cheaper. But we were warned that it is better to go on long-distance excursions such as Cairo and Israel from a tour operator, because they bear full responsibility for us, and buses travel in groups, and short excursions are of course more profitable to take outside the hotel. By the way, we went from Tez Tour, the guides were good, the attitude was normal, the buses were comfortable, even the transfer from our city to Donetsk (from there we flew out) and back was organized by a minibus at the expense of the tour operator, everyone was delivered on account. In general, if it were not for the weather conditions at the beginning of the holiday, because of which the pools "suffered", then the rest could be called ideal. The only thing I want to note is that it’s better to go there with a small company, it’s more fun. We were lucky, we met a wonderful couple from Donetsk and spent the whole vacation together. And I also forgot to mention that the hotel is a five-minute drive from the airport, so you are provided with constant noise from planes taking off and landing, but this did not bother us, it was even interesting, and then they stopped paying attention at all. Well, it seems to have objectively described the picture of the rest and the hotel. If you have any questions ask, I'll be happy to answer.
