Preface.
Far from the first time in Egypt and Sharm, so you can trust my review. I am not a picky person (I know where and what to close my eyes to) and not impressionable (not the first trip). I ask everyone to read who wants a full review about the hotel... I attach the photo...
I rested from 05/08/12 to 05/15/12 in this hotel with my family (2 adults + 1 child 4 years old) and my friends (young couple). I want to note right away that the hotel is actually 4 *, not 5 * as some position it. Maybe they throw another star because there is a water park? Don't know. But this hotel is only 4*. At the entrance, at the reception you will see a sign of the star rating of the hotel. Therefore, further review will be like a 4 * hotel. This hotel is located on the second line from the sea - there is another hotel ahead. I want to note right away that there is no prejudice against Russian-speaking (Russian-Belarus-Ukr) and foreigners (English-Italian-pol). They always pour the same amount as everyone else (and in the same glasses), they serve the same as others (in order of priority). Don't be "Taghilians", but behave politely, smile - and you will be the same... At home, our brother in restaurants will not behave like in Egypt, because he will get kicked in the kidneys from the guards, and will behave adequately. And then I wanted to feel like a king . . I myself would have such a “shit... l” in a glass... Be people there too...

So, review-review - let's start.
Accommodation and room.
Since we arrived late in the evening, there were no problems during check-in. Immediately put on bracelets, filled out questionnaires. They gave me an envelope (there was a map of the hotel area on it) in which there was a key to the room, cards for towels and a sheet describing the entire all-inclusive service). When you check in, you will be given a standard room, but for a fee you will be offered a “better room”. My advice to you is to go first to the number that they just offer, and then, if you don’t like something, then negotiate. You can change the room for free for another... The rooms differ little from each other, except for the view (on the sea-street or on the territory of the hotel - swimming pool, water park). And inside they are the same. So if you don’t care where the view from the room goes, don’t bother. Take the number they give you. Just check if everything works and if there are any problems with the conder. The room is cleaned every day, but the housekeeping is poor. Tried to leave money - it didn't get any better. Therefore, they decided not to waste money - all the same, the effect is the same. They gave only two towels, despite the fact that they lived with a child. The furniture in the room is a little shabby (not the first freshness). The beds are whiter or less . . The shower didn’t impress me, so to speak - it’s kind of dumb. Always water for everything shower... This is the only significant negative number. There is a minibar, which is replenished daily with bottles of water (1 pc per person). Free safe in the room, which is convenient… The air conditioner only works when a magnetic card is inserted into the card reader. He worked for us and for friends without problems. Just a little noisy... But we only turned it on before going to bed and when we were in the room. It cooled normally, did not break, so they did not bother with it. LCD telly, which is a plus - the eyes do not get tired of looking in the evening. Russian channel 2pcs (first and news). And yes, we didn't see much of it. The card had the property of being demagnetized, so we went to the reception several times so that they would magnetize it again.
Territory.

The territory is large, well-groomed. I would not say that there is no greenery. No no. It is there, but you will not see any riot of palms, trees and bushes. Wherever possible, grass has been planted, there are flower beds, small trees, palm trees. But it all looks somehow Spartan. But as they say, we didn’t come here to look at palm trees)))) There is greenery - well, there is. The main building, separate buildings, restaurants, swimming pools, bars - all this is in this hotel. The area is cleaned up and looks pretty clean. There are many pools, they are different, almost every pool has a bar. There are always free places - you don't have to get up early to "fill" yourself a sunbed. There is an amphitheater where there was evening animation. There is also a tennis court and a football field, but I have not seen anyone using them. Spa center and gym - one building. I was not there))) There is also a kids club. He took the child there at 10.00 (opening), took him from there at 12.30 (lunch). Then from 15.00 to 17.00 he took away (if the child wanted). With him there they draw, play, dance - in short, they entertain. And my wife and I had free time to ride the slides or just relax. There are several centers for issuing towels, which is convenient - you do not have to go somewhere. But there is one BUT - where you took the towels, you need to return it there . . It is given against a signature, and accordingly you need to sign there when you hand it over. This is not convenient a bit, because. let's say you come and take a towel near the water park, and at the end of the day you relax at the other end of the hotel near the pool. We have to return to the water park to pass there, and not near the pool. But this is certainly not critical. We generally got used to it - we go to the water park, we take towels there. Rode for half a day. They went and gave up. And we took a fresh towel where we plan to spend the other half of the day. Someone complains about planes flying over the hotel. Well, the first - the hotel is located near the airport... And the second - to be honest, it was fine for me. It didn't bother me at all. It was even interesting to watch the planes take off. In addition, they don’t take off very often... So I don’t see any problems (as others present it) at all... This is not something you need to go in cycles in...
Food.
I want to immediately dismiss statements like: “do you eat shrimp and marzipan every day” or “you have a menu of 30 types of dishes at home”, etc. , etc. At home, of course, it’s not like that, but this is a vacation that you paid for and you want satisfaction in all matters, as in this. I will not say that I am a gourmet - I just look critically (because there is something to compare with - I was in similar fours). The food is average, not much variety. You will always find something to eat, but it will be the same every day. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Baking is top notch as always. But there are not many types of cakes and sweets, which surprised me. Usually they always abound in Egypt. And here it’s not at all crowded . . In addition, if they sorted out some kind, then they won’t bring it back... So whoever came first and took it was lucky. Breakfasts are all the same, not much different from other Egyptian hotels. Lunch is modest, you will find food for yourself, but the food is the same . . Dinner... There are five restaurants on site: English, Italian, Lebanese, Indian and Chinese. You can visit each of them once during your vacation for free. Practically, everything is the same as for a common dinner, only with its own small specifics (each has its own kitchen). But for the sake of variety, you can go to each of them... Sign up better at 19.00... Because if you didn’t like something or you didn’t eat enough, then after the restaurant you can go to a common restaurant and “catch up”... Which is what we did... But in all 5 restaurants are worth going to… Even just because of the variety of your holiday… About fruits: there were apples, bananas, oranges, guava, melons, peaches, grapefruit and of course dates : ) I would like watermelon, strawberries and grapes… And some other exotic things. Drinks: beer, cola fanta sprite, yuppies, wine and local spirits are the standard Egyptian set. The bars make a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. On the beach we took a milkshake, it turned out to be quite tasty.
Entertainment.

Aquapark. For adults, 12 slides and a section with a children's pool with small slides and waterfalls. The slides work according to the schedule: 10.00-13.00 and 14.00-17.00. Of course, I want a greater variety of slides, but what there are - there are. We rode with pleasure. The only remark about the water park is that there are very few circles for skiing. I had to stand in line for them, which was a bit annoying. In principle, there were enough rugs... The child really liked the children's slides - he was there all day. There is a wave pool, but it was open in the afternoon. Somehow the wave there is not very good - purely for children. In general - how the entertainment of the water park will go and diversify your stay.
Animation. Let's just say she's weak. In the morning you will have water aerobics or aerobics. Play water polo. On the beach - volleyball and bocce. Animation program in the evening: first minidisco for children, and then for adults. The animators are weak, they walk lazily, they do their job unimportantly. I don’t like this whole thing at all, my wife likes it more, but the level is visible to the naked eye. I don’t talk about evening animation at all - it’s something with something... Especially the evening of the comedy show... I threw up after the very first performance... The rest of the evenings were not much different. The only thing I liked was the evening (it was a Wednesday) when a dance group of girls comes and entertains at an open-air dinner. Here I liked it. But this is not the direct work of animators, but a visiting team.
outside the hotel. Behind the hotel there are no shops, restaurants, and even less discos. Here you need to go either to Soho (15 pounds taxi - no more), or to Naama Bay (35 pounds, max. 40). You can go to the Old City for shopping. But in recent years, the Arabs have become more greyhounds, throwing themselves at you, pulling by the hands, they won’t let you pass... Prices are breaking up hoo, they are weakly traded . . And if you refuse, they can swear... The only pleasant impression is from Soho and El Mercato. Here, no one will say a word to you until you ask... Everything is cultural. But the prices are more expensive and they are not traded (or very weakly). But you can calmly go shopping... And there is where to take pictures.
Beach.

I must say right away that the maximum walk to the beach is 10 minutes along a sandy road. But I did not go on foot, because. a bus runs from the hotel and back every 15-20 minutes, on which you will drive to the beach with a breeze in max 5 minutes. A big plus of the beach is always the availability of free sunbeds. The beach is sandy (imported sand), there is a volleyball court and a place for bocches. You can take a towel on the beach - and you don’t have to drag it from the hotel... It’s better to hand it over at the hotel (if you took it there), and take a fresh one on the beach. And after the beach, give it back here, and not drag it back to the hotel. There is a bar on the beach where you can eat and drink. There is also a toilet and a shower… The beach itself is quite clean, they try to clean it up, although ours litter like cattle… And then they manage to complain about the dirt. Everywhere there are trash cans - they came up and threw them out. And you will be clean. There is a bridge (not a pontoon) to the depth. The beach itself is coral and quite shallow, which is good for families with children and those who like to wander through the corals in the shallows. But for lovers of living creatures - welcome to the reef... The reef is alive !! ! The fish are many and varied. I would say that this is a huge plus of this beach, because. you rarely see such a good reef with flora. Among the shortcomings, I note this - from time to time a red flag appears. This is of course more a disadvantage of the Nabq coast, because the sea is open and the winds are blowing. But we have a red flag hanging, and on the neighboring beach (a little further away) a yellow one still hangs. Although it was once and vice versa))) Understand them there... But the breeze during tanning is very good, it blows... It is always comfortable to sunbathe, and not spin like in a frying pan))) And yet - for some reason the beach closes after 17.00-17.30 and everyone they ask to return to the hotel… And they say it works until sunset))) And I also note that one of the big drawbacks is that construction is underway near the beach and the roar of excavators and equipment is a little annoying. Although you stop paying attention to it when you see the beauty of the reef.
Total.
Big, good, family-friendly hotel. For young people, it will also go if you want a quieter vacation... The food is more or less good, the animation is average (for an amateur). Nice water park for both adults and kids. Especially there are no "Tagilites", a cultural audience... The staff is polite, all issues are resolved quickly... And one more thing: the rest depends on you - you will focus on the negative, so you will spend your holiday (everything is in your hands)... I will not return to this hotel, because that I am a lover of new things, and not because the hotel is bad... I recommend it to everyone . . Have a good rest and pleasant impressions...
