We chose a hotel for a holiday with a child of 6 years old, which would be large in size, with slides or a water park and a convenient entrance to the sea. All these conditions are met at the Tropitel Naama BAY hotel.
Rested in August 2018. The check-in was difficult. We arrived at about 10 am, and settled at about 2 pm. This is all indicated in the description of the hotel. Before our arrival at 7 am on the same day, several Russian-speaking families also arrived. And they also waited a long time to check in. At about 12 o'clock they asked us to put on bracelets, which for some reason were not enough for all the arrivals. They gave cards for towels and only then, having changed the children in the toilet! , went to the pool. Almost the first day of rest is gone!
I got the room in the area. Far from the main building. Electric cars drive around the area. The room is spacious and good. The room has a hairdryer, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, balcony overlooking the garden and pool. There is an electric kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, cream. However, the coffee was replenished only when it was completely over, and the cream was not given at all. Drinking water was brought to the room daily. In the bathroom shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Updated as needed. Soap as in the beginning put 2 pieces, and that's it. On the first day they brought us slippers and washcloths.

We liked the food. You can choose a menu for both adults and children. Fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, desserts, pastries. Everything is very delicious! The hotel has 2 restaurants: main and grill. We enjoyed eating at the grill restaurant. There are fewer people, silence, air conditioning works and it was not far from the room in the area. In bars drinks, cocktails for adults and children. Also in the bars near the pool and on the sea you can have a snack, fruits, vegetables, french fries, meat, buns. . .
Beach. The beach is small, but there is enough space for everyone. Sand! Clean, pleasant for the legs, no pebbles, no shells. Gentle sandy entrance to the sea, very convenient with small children. The sea is clean. True, there are boats nearby. But it didn’t bother me with a child near the shore.
The territory of the hotel is green and well-groomed. There were 3 swimming pools, one of them with slides. The fourth pool near our building was being repaired, and before our departure, water had already been drawn into it. There is a bar next to each pool. Free sunbeds and towels on cards. There is enough space for everyone.
Animation. Well done boys! Smart, they work well. Not imposed. In the morning, in the afternoon by the pool, in the evening on the playground for children and adults. Good kids club. Usually my child does not stay there, but he stayed here and every day he wanted to go there again.

And now for the disadvantages. And for me they consist in cleaning the room and serving Russian-speaking tourists! But I was so hurt that the positive reviews and shortcomings I got 50/50 !! ! I wrote about the settlement at the beginning of the review. It can be said that the first day fell out. No one tells that there is a second reception in the area, how and where bars (working hours), restaurants work. The beach and pools close early. At the beginning of our holiday, the first 3 days, they came to us to clean around 18 pm! You come to the room, you want to take a shower, relax, and here they came to clean! On the second day they came even after 18 hours. I no longer hoped. And they brought drinking water at the same time. And the child asked for a drink! I was blown away by the cleaning! The bathroom floor was not even washed. And I put $ 1 on the table, and such cleaning! They took all the towels and left none. I thought they would bring it later. However, after dinner, after 20:00, I had to go to the reception and ask for at least one towel. Brought quickly, I have not had time to return to the room. I didn't have any more money. . .
Also on the first day the card to open the door to the room did not work. If they immediately explained that there is a reception nearby in the next building, the child would not develop a negative attitude towards walking to the main building, but he is not close. We went to a restaurant for lunch in the main building, from lunch to the room, the room does not come off, again to the reception in the main building, back to the room... moreover, no one from the hotel staff went to open the door with us, and if they hadn’t opened it ?... Why couldn't you tell where you can go, where everything is located?
In my opinion, the sea for children is far from the hotel. It is very difficult to travel with a child in the heat. Especially when a negative for long hikes has been developed, and my child did not like to go to the sea. He needs a pool, slides and nothing else. There was a festival of colors. Animators persuaded him to go to the sea. And we went. They came, of course, all the places are occupied, there are folded sunbeds near the wall, I asked the beach worker to put sunbeds in the free place for us and in response I get "no", and he runs away from us to the Arab family who came. He puts them sunbeds, lays out a towel. Then coming the next pair of Arabs. And everything repeats. I stand with the child and look at it. . . And I wanted to cry. . . If I was with my husband, the crown would not have fallen from him, and he would have taken the sunbeds and put us on the sand, but unfortunately, I am a woman and could not do it! The child began to whine that there was nowhere to settle down, that he did not like the sea, and we left! The situation is the same with serving Russian-speaking tourists at bars, you will stand until all the Arabs and their children are served, and only then will they pay attention to you! The feeling is not pleasant!
In August, the hotel has a lot of Arab families with children. And even in August it is very hot in Egypt, this time is not for families with children in this country. So there were pluses and minuses. The hotel itself is very good.
