I don't really like writing bad reviews. But this time I can't help it.
People who write good reviews about this hotel, have you ever stayed in 5 star hotels? Do you have something to compare? Or did you go abroad for the first time on vacation? If for the first time. point it out. not to mislead people.
I have been to Sharm hotels several times, about 7 times. She also rested in other countries, but now is not about that. I mean that I can distinguish hotels by stars. Once again, my husband and I decided to fly to Sharm.
Chose the hotel based on the reviews, as it turned out, they were mistaken. I want to note that we are not very picky. and in the hotels where we rested earlier in Sharm, we liked everything. The main criteria by which we select a hotel: the sea with a reef. cleanliness everywhere, kitchen, let there be a choice not big. but not specific.
It is strange that this hotel had a lot of good reviews and a good rating. I didn't even think that there could be such a 5 star hotel!!!
I'll start in order.
ACCOMMODATION:
We arrived at the hotel around 17.00, went to the reception. We were offered to pay an extra $20 per night to be placed in a superior room. Total 180 dollars. We said that to begin with, we would look at the number that we had already paid for. We were told to wait 5 minutes. as the room is not ready yet. For a minute! It was already 17.00 pm!! ! Settlement according to the rules they have from 15.00. In total, we had to wait about 2x!! ! hours. They simply did not react to us when we approached and asked us to be settled already, since it was late, we were hungry and tired from the road. This did not bother anyone at the reception.
And then hurrah! We were loaded onto a small car with a suitcase and taken to some distant building - a bungalow. There, as we were told, Ukrainians and Belarusians live (that is, the second grade). We go into the room. And then we have a shock! We haven't seen this yet. The room is so dirty. that even if you do a general cleaning there all day, you can’t wash it. The beds of 3 pieces (we are a couple) are old, bed linen and towels are all in order and stained, there is no toilet paper and soap! I'm already silent about the gel and shampoo. Torn, dirty curtain in the bathroom, on which the fungus and dirt, disinfectant washing the bathroom did not see at all. Sockets, doors, walls, floors are all so dirty.
We decided that we simply could not live in such horror. We returned to the reception, I asked to call the senior manager. Showed him the photo and video numbers. he apologized and offered us a superior room in the main building. It was no better there, the cleanliness was the same, in addition, the music was screaming with the balcony closed, until 2 am. But they were tired, as they fell asleep. Also there was a non-working refrigerator, which we came to repair at 12.00! night. And not a single light was on in the room. So I couldn't take a photo. The light was only in the bathroom. And thanks for that)
RESTAURANT AND FOOD:
The dishes are dirty, the plates are chipped, it's time to throw them away. The food is terrible, salty and spicy. The choice of food is not great. We ate there only 2 times (dinner and breakfast). That was enough to understand. Everywhere there is dirt and rubbish.
TERRITORY:
Small, no greenery. Everything is dirty and untidy. Just like in the hotel buildings. Do not wash!
STAFF:
Perhaps the attitude towards Europeans and local Arabs is better. But they didn't treat us.
BEACH:
This was the second shock for us! Waking up in the morning, we decided to go to the beach, thought to find at least one plus. But it was not there. The description of the hotel states that the beach is on the first line! After breakfast, we went to look for the beach. We walked around the territory, but we didn’t find it, we went to the reception desk to ask where the beach is? We were informed that the beach, it turns out, is on the second line! Across the road, in the heat, go through the parking lot, there is a beach. Okay, we went, hoping to see a beautiful beach with a beautiful reef. But it was not there! Dirty beach. One pontoon. near which, many boats and yachts are parked. And happy people who bathe in all this gasoline and fuel oil when they see one unfortunate fish. rejoice in her. The reef is not there. fish too.
Not only that, when I went to the bar. and asked for a bottle of water, the bartender told me $1. But we have, like, all inclusive!
Further, we could not resist. Not our single plus, we called our agent and tour operator. By sending them photos and video evidence of all this horror. They promptly helped us change and move to another hotel. For just a small surcharge, in another hotel we saw the complete opposite.
Once again I will repeat. This hotel does not correspond to the level of 5 stars BY ALL CRITERIA!! ! And I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!! !
