Just got back from Turquoise Beach. In general, the impressions are positive. Small cozy hotel, close to everything, which is very convenient. The hotel is quiet, calm, NOT FOR YOUTH PARTIES, but very comfortable for people who want to relax in silence. And for those vacationers who write negative reviews in connection with this, I want to advise: read all the reviews carefully and look for a rational grain in them just for yourself. I am very grateful to Max for the absence of parties in the evenings in the hotel. Those wishing to have fun went to Naama Bay until the morning.
They settled not immediately, but only after 14.00 in the room in the building, which we indicated. Room 210 on the first floor overlooking the pool was quiet. In other buildings, windows face the road or a construction site - not very good. We chose a budget hotel near the sea, but so that there was somewhere to go for a walk. Before that, I rested only in fives, of course there is a difference. But compared to, say, Sharm Plaza and Sunrise Diamond, I'd rather go to Turquoise. Positive moments: I repeat, the proximity of the buildings to the dining room, reception, pool and sea; proximity to the Old Market, the food is delicious, the products are fresh. In many hotels, chicken and beef in different types and in large quantities, but inedible, but here that beef, that chicken, that liver, that fish are cooked very well. The choice of dishes is small: for lunch and dinner there were always potatoes, pasta, rice, meat and fish. Meat and fish are given in portions, but if 2 pieces are not enough, they always put 3 or 4. I think this is right, because our people are so “hungry” for everything that the tastiest dishes are filled with tops, they don’t eat them, they throw away food, At the same time, they do not think that other vacationers will not get it, and meat in Egypt is expensive. All the main vegetables have always been: cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, green peppers, onions, eggplants. Of the fruits, there are always oranges, tangerines, guava, often dates, diced melon, once hit strawberries, which our compatriots (including us) raked in 3 minutes. By the way, neither in the Renaissance, nor in Monte Carlo, nor in Melia Sharm, nor in Sharm Plaza, nor in Sunrise strawberries were seen during the season. In these fives, unlike Turkvoz, the choice of dishes was much larger, but, in fact, they ate only what is now offered in Turkvoz. Cakes, as in all hotels to taste, but in less variety. From drinks they took coffee, tea, fanta and sprite at the pool bar, beer and other alcoholic drinks were taken by vacationers in the same place, bottles with excise taxes were opened in front of them. In the dining room, it seems, everyone is bodying, they saw: water is poured into milk, perhaps by mistake, or maybe on purpose. The dishes are all cleanly washed, although chipped plates come across. There are no problems with paper napkins, as in many hotels. The waiters work very well, the dishes are removed instantly and the table is served immediately after the guests leave. No problem with utensils. The restaurant itself would not hurt to wash it thoroughly, especially the metal structures under the ceiling, where there is a lot of dust.
The beach is decent in size, with a full load of the hotel there were plenty of free sunbeds. The sunbeds are the same as in the five above mentioned. The sea is shallow, there are practically no fish, the water looks clean, transparent, no traces of boats were seen, no matter how hard we tried. At the bottom near the shore there is various garbage, the beach is normal. We went around all the beaches around, the beach is only cleaner than the City Sharm hotel, which has been closed for 2 years. By the way, they were horrified by the beach of the advertised Albatross: there are a lot of vacationers, there is not enough space, everyone is on top of each other.

The room is ordinary, there was a full-fledged extra bed, which is not present in all standard rooms of fives. The cleaners are lazy, they only made the beds, put shampoo and soap, and towels were changed every day, even unused ones: they took it away in the morning, brought it far after dinner, which, of course, was annoying. Mirrors, glass in the doors were never washed, for which they were punished by the lack of a tip. Already at departure, she could not stand it and snitched on them at the reception, they apologized very much, thanked and promised to fix everything in the near future.
In the reviews I read some misunderstandings about the animator Max. I watched his behavior all the rest, and I’ll tell you my opinion: he pulls all the animation on himself, he does his duties well, quite adequate, quite a nice guy, which attracts some too active female individuals who want more than just animation, but not having received love until the end of his days, then they write all sorts of nonsense in reviews about him. Treat them like animators, cleaners, guides, and you will be happy. For the first time I met an unobtrusive invitation of vacationers to aerobics and other events in the form of an intelligent, quiet reading to the music into the microphone of the schedule for the whole day. Max himself did not dance, but in the evening he arranged some kind of competitions and played music, but this did not interfere with other vacationers who did not want fun. At 22.30. fun stopped, wishing to continue, he drove to the disco. There were 2 dogs on the beach, tied in the corners and did not bother anyone.
wi fi is non-existent, even for those who paid for it at the hotel for $5. We bought a 2.2GB Vodafone SIM for $4 at the airport.
They don’t give bottled water, it doesn’t matter, they bought it in supermarkets - Metro and Ragab juice for a penny. By the way, Max brought us 1.5 liters of water on the road, even though we didn’t ask.
