We chose a hotel for a long time and settled on Viva Sharm as a good offer in terms of price-quality ratio. Although there were not many reviews, we decided to take a chance. We didn't have high hopes, but the hotel exceeded our expectations.
Check in:
Our acquaintance with the hotel began on a minor note. Check-in was after 22.00 and we didn't have time for dinner. In general, it went quickly, we were promised a good room and dinner in the room. It was very noisy, music was playing near the pool near the reception and there was a feeling that we had arrived at a nightclub. The room was on the 2nd floor in the back building. When checking in, the guy said that tomorrow, if we want, they will replace him. We didn't like the room at all. There was a feeling of dampness, only 1 light was on for the ENTIRE room, there was a door to the next room, although we were assured that it would not open. After spending about 15 minutes in it, we decided that we would not really want to spend the night here. We returned to the reception, described the situation and showed us another room, on the 1st floor, 503, sort of. It was lighter, but there were separate beds. True, the guy moved them to us, but the room was still not very comfortable. First floor, little light, dirty, there was a used condom lying next to the bed and on one bed there was something that looked like a bed bug or something. But we were very tired from the road and decided to postpone everything until tomorrow. Moreover, we were promised a good room tomorrow after 12.

We spent the night, had breakfast and already wanted to call the reception to remind us about changing the number, but they called us themselves and showed us the 523 number. He was just great!
Room and cleaning:
In the room, all the lights worked, a large bed, perfect cleanliness, within 5 minutes they brought the missing hair dryer, which was much more convenient than a standard hotel one. Very bright and spacious overlooking the pool, in other matters, like all the others. Second floor. The room had everything you need: new air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, safe, furniture. The bedding is not perfectly clean, but quite acceptable.
During our stay we had two shifts of cleaners. The first guy cleaned very well and was very friendly. I understood Russian well. He washed floors, cleaned the bathroom to a shine and built figurines from towels. He always asked how things were going, if everything was ok. How he treated his relatives) It’s a pity they didn’t remember the name.
The second guy cleaned a little worse. I washed the bathroom cosmetically, I didn’t always fold towels, but overall it was clean. Bed linen was changed several times. Paper (good quality) and shampoo brought every other day.
Mosquitoes got into the room through the ventilation. Communicated with vacationers, many had the same.
Tipping for cleaning was always left.
Hotel territory:
Very clean and well maintained. The guys have been doing it since morning. Watered, cut, cleaned. There are bald patches on the lawns. Only three pools, 2 adults and 1 children. But we hardly swam in the pool. Although they looked good. Clean, didn't smell of chlorine. In the morning, lizards run along the paths of the hotel, and in the evening, geckos bask on the walls. Very funny. They didn't crawl into the room.
Nutrition:
We didn't have a good start with food. What they called "dinner" upon check-in was a little like something edible. Terrible sausage, cheese, tomatoes. Of the edible was only cucumber and buns.
It was the worst meal in the hotel, everything went much better after that)

Breakfast: we ate scrambled eggs, which were fried right in the dining room, pastries, local feta, vegetables and coffee. There were also some cereals, something Arabic, jams, sometimes croissants. The coffee was quite edible, we expected the worst. Also for breakfast and lunch there was a very tasty sweet water with different flavors (watermelon, lime, raspberry, orange).
Lunch: they took rice - always very tasty, vegetables, soups (tomato, pasta, onion), something meat, pastries, pasta.
Dinner: The most festive meal of the day. Every time the chefs cooked something on the grill: kebab, chicken, chicken. There was a very tasty fish (fried and stewed), as vacationers told us later, a flute. Liver, several types of side dishes. From the sweet were cakes, melon, oranges.
In general, the food was very satisfied. Baking - lick your fingers. All cakes and desserts are made on the basis of a biscuit, but decorated and poured in different ways. Fruit was only for dinner. Day oranges - day melon. Oranges are delicious, melons are not. Rice tried to cook differently each time. The pasta was delicious and didn't fall apart. The meat is mostly burnt, but if you remove the top crust, then everything is ok. It's better than in other hotels, half-baked. I did not like potatoes in any form, tomatoes, sliced.
In general, although the food was not very diverse, we always ate. We have never seen anything spoiled or not fresh. Never heard of food poisoning.
Beaches:
We got a good stay for a nice price. We can safely recommend this trio for a visit!
