The hotel was chosen very spontaneously. Rather, they chose for a very long time, and as a result, they decided to go to it right on the day of booking. The main selection criteria were heated pools, a cozy area, 2 beaches and corrals for parents and a sandy entry for children, close to the old town, there is where to take a walk... chose...
We arrived in the evening at 19:30 where they immediately gave the keys to the room with a balcony overlooking the garden. Asked to give access to the pool - had to pay extra $ 6 per room. We had 2 rooms, did not pay extra, stayed in these rooms. We went to unpack our bags, met a couple of tourists who advised us to run for dinner, maybe dinner until 20:30... They came to the dining room - no one! We were seated and told we had 15 minutes. They cook delicious, pour as much as you want, the waiters bring drinks. We had dinner and went for a walk outside the hotel with our eldest daughter . . there was the first surprise - the hotel is located along the road, and you need to walk for a long time to get somewhere where you can take a walk . . that evening we didn’t get there and tired returned to the hotel to sleep. In the morning we woke up for breakfast, in Egypt we always wake up early. but the fact is that you have 2 hours to eat). Before breakfast, we tried the water in the "heated pool" - it is cold . . that's it, it's cold, not cool, but cold! The same as in the children's unheated paddling pool! We decided that it would warm up later, ate and went to the beach.
Second surprise! Schedule for the beach: coral there at 10:00, back at 16:00!! ! Sand at 10:40, back at 13:30. (Lunch from 12 to 14). Either way, skip lunch! On the first day we arrived at the coral. The pontoon is stationary, immediately depth, beauty. The bar gives drinks, you have to go up for them if you are lying close to the sea. They give drinks in soft 150 g cups... Until 13 we stayed on the beach and left for dinner by taxi ($ 1-2 as agreed). We arrived and had lunch. Then to the pools - the water is cold.

3 surprise. The pools are not heated. We went to reception where we were informed that we thought the water was cold, but in fact the water was warm! We freaked out, went to the pools with a hotel employee, he measured with a non-contact thermometer - 25 °. In unheated 24° (but it is in the shade). We were approached by vacationers who said that they were arguing at the reception about the pools for more than a day... Then we were promised that the water would be warmer tomorrow. OK. Tomorrow has come, in the morning I go to the pools and lo and behold - the water is cold, but tolerable, you can swim, and warm water gurgles from the taps at the bottom, the heating is weak. With peace of mind we went to the sandy beach. On the beach from 12 they give village potatoes, buns with lulakebab and cucumbers, tomatoes. Not a full meal, not very tasty, but you can kill your appetite. The children spat, but ate, hungry, after the sea. We arrived at 13:45 for lunch, barely had time... And we went to the pool, as planned, it was already warm, because it was heated in the morning... But the water was ice cold again !! ! And the heating is off. We are at the reception - we again have the same song - the water is warm. All the vacationers who at that time were sitting around the pool had already gathered here - they went in a crowd to the reception, where they said that this did not suit us. The hotel is in the pope of the dragon, on line 10, at least in the pools you can swim... at the sea, then only by taxi . . the bus only travels once a day in the morning! But no. At the reception, ALL guests were sent and told to call their guides, and if you don’t like something, move !! ! What a twist! We pay for one thing, but in fact a fraud. There is a video confirmation where we all at the reception ask for heating! In general, having achieved nothing, we again went to lie on the sunbeds . . since there is nothing more to do in the hotel... it's cold to swim, there is nowhere to walk - a small area. Then I saw that tour operators from Belarus had arrived for a fact-finding tour, I went to them for help) I told everything as it is, showed the video, they were also surprised, and advised us to contact the travel agency to relocate us. Our guide arrived in the evening, we explained to him for the hundredth time that we were not paying money for that, to sit and look at the pool. He explained that in Egypt, a heated pool is considered if the water in it is from 25 °, and unscrupulous hotels use this - save and no longer heat, keep it within 25, and declare heating. But the water is colder than the air and colder than the sea! The result is this - the hotel considered us uncomfortable guests and asked the guide to relocate us. And all 5 of us (2 rooms) were moved to Marina Sharm without additional payments. We stayed in this hotel full 2 ​ ​ days out of 10.
In winter, the hotel is not suitable, because the pools are cold, the location, as it turned out, is too far from everything for walking. Taxi only. The shuttle to the beach is terrible! 1 bus. Lunch is out.
Treating tourists like fools, honestly. And in the summer I don’t even know - for this money you can find options closer to the sea and much more interesting.
Of the advantages of the hotel - a beautiful small area, well-groomed. The animators are a wonderful couple, they tried to support and encourage us, they played with the children. Delicious cooking. Purely.
And yes - shower gels, shampoos - all with you or buy on the spot.
I don’t know why this hotel has positive reviews... maybe there is nothing to compare with... Line 10 without a “buy” is clearly not our option.
