Rested with his wife in Sea Life from 11 to 22 October 2013.
At the beginning, upon arrival, I really liked that the visa was no longer "soared" at the airport. They asked if we would go on excursions to Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, etc. Well, of course not! Sinai ONLY! Then, they say, you do not need a visa, fill out the migration form and stomp to passport control. Previously, "Sinai ONLY" was almost knocked out with a fight.
We were at the hotel about half past ten. At ten, we received the keys to room 0425. We didn’t like it - a bad view from the window outside the hotel, the air conditioner is not working loudly, the sun will shine through the windows all day. At the reception they gave the keys to another room 0515. He completely satisfied us. I just had to wait an hour and a half for it to be removed. There was a small problem - water was dripping from the pipe near the toilet. Eliminated promptly.

From 11 to 13 there were very few people. The restaurant in Sea Life was closed. We ate at Sea Garden. But every day people came and came, and from the 14th our restaurant was also open. Somewhere after the 15th, the hotel was almost completely occupied. Visually, approximately the same number of Ukrainians, Russians, Germans, Italians. A little less than the British, Belarusians and Arabs.
I liked the hotel itself. Large beautiful and clean area. True, the rooms with furniture are a bit old, but this does not affect the rest.
Ate mainly in Sea Life. Delicious, varied, good service. There are no queues in the restaurant, unlike the Sea Club. We visited all three a la carte restaurants. I liked Lebanese the most. They took the meat menu there. In Italian they took fish - the same nothing. Well, the Japanese show is excellent, but I didn’t like the fish menu very much.
In general, I liked Sea Life and Club with Garden. Nice, clean and beautiful area. Good food. Quality service.
Well, now about the bad. Not the best location of hotels on the sea. There is always a red flag on the pontoon in the morning. Yellow after dinner. Although the beach is very large, there are dead corals along the entire beach. Depth at the knee. Only children can swim. A couple of small more or less deep places do not save the situation. The pontoon is just at the very end of the Sea Club. Although the hotel is on the first line, the distance from the room to the pontoon was greater than on the last vacation from the second line hotel.
For all 12 days there was only one day when the whole day was a green flag. But not everything is smooth here either. There is only one staircase on the pontoon. And the pandemonium of rising and falling people... To enter the sea from the pontoon, you have to spend about five minutes... But the reef and the fish are beautiful.
Still somehow not very noticeable animation, except for evening performances. We spent a lot of time by the pool. Only Nicholas was seen daily. Thank you very much for the activity by the pool. It seems that he was alone for the whole Sea Life, and the rest of the animators were in the Sea Club. Yes, thanks a lot to the pool bartenders for their cocktails. And the guys "with towels. " They work their tips very well.

And of course there were diving, motosafari. We went to discos. Walked in Naama Bay and Soho. By the way, the prices for excursions that the guide has, that on the beach, let's say so, are a little overpriced : ) In Nnaama Bay, you can take the same excursions almost twice as cheap.
!!!! ! Request to the hotel administration: consider making a second pontoon on the Sea Life beach, make a second staircase from the pontoon in the Sea Club. !!!!!
Will I go a second time to this hotel? Hardly, though the hotel itself is not bad. People go to Egypt for the sake of the Red Sea, and there are just problems with it at the hotel.
I will be happy to answer questions about holidays in Sea Life and Sharm in general.
