I must say right away that we rest in Egypt twice a year. This is the ninth time. And the first time in winter. We were afraid that we would be cold. And it was somehow "dumb" in connection with the attack of sharks. But, nevertheless, the main motivation was the 25th anniversary of married life and my birthday, therefore, they decided to celebrate the Silver Wedding in Egypt. Before that, the main place of our stay was the coast of Ras Um Sid - where there is a magnificent coast, hotels, places of civilization and entertainment. But they took a chance and decided to go in the opposite direction to the Sea Life Hotel. Upon arrival at the reception desk, they immediately announced the purpose of the visit - as a honeymoon trip. Placed in 5 minutes, paid extra $ 50 got a magnificent room by the pool overlooking the sea and the garden on the second floor. The room is like a room about 20-22 sq. m. TV, refrigerator, safe....Shower, bidet, toilet. Towels are changed if they are thrown on the floor, the bed is changed if a blue card is placed on the bed (carefully read all the pieces of paper on the table and bedside tables). Shampoos, soaps, shower gels - everything is provided. When settling was not and we called the retsepshin brought in 5 minutes.
We refused the offer of standard congratulations in the restaurant, and ordered a romantic dinner with seafood on the tower by the pool. We were served excellently, everything that we could not eat, drink, cake, fruit, drinks was transferred to our room, where we still celebrated that evening and the next day.
Now about the hotel. This is a huge green area that unites three hotels - Sea Life, Sea Club, Sea Gardens. You can use restaurants, bars, swimming pools, shops, beaches - wherever you want and where your body and soul are pleased. There are no borders or any restrictions in anything between hotels. In the evenings, we liked to sit at the pool bar at Sea Gardens, after dinner, sit up late at the pool bar at Sea Life sipping cappuccino, cocktails, gin and playing cards. Evening performances in the amphitheaters of the hotels are designed for Russian, - English, - Italian - speaking spectators, as they are conducted by the guys of the combined Russian-Ukrainian-Italian animation.

Food - no complaints, as usual in all Egyptian hotels, quite varied. but I note that there were crabs, and shrimp, and various fish. Lots of fruits, sweets. Naturally, there was no borscht, dumplings, bacon. The service is quite tolerable, for only $ 1-2 they smile more, they serve quickly. But you may not pay. But remember "LET THE HAND OF THE GIVER NEVER BE PULL. . . "
The beach is huge, choose any place. You can enter the water from the shore. You can walk or swim 100 meters to the reef at high tide, looking at fish and other inhabitants of the sea in a mask. By the way, the water in January is quite warm 23-24 degrees.
But still, the coast in the RAS UM SI area is much better.
The only drawback of the hotel - far from civilization. But since we are not in Sharm for the first time, we didn’t go anywhere - just 8 days of complete relaxation. We were also not interested in excursions, since everyone had already visited before.
Regarding the SHARKS, everyone swam, we did not see them.
The air temperature is comfortable in the sun 25-17 degrees. There was a slight breeze. Tanned, slightly burned, even changed the skin on the back and nose.
They did not feel the Arab revolution, they flew away on January 28 without any problems.
Well, in general, the hotel is good for a week of complete relaxation!
And almost all the staff understands the basic level of the Russian language. But it is better for you to know the basic level of English then it will be much easier for you to communicate with the service staff and with your English a slightly different attitude towards you.
