Good day to all! We went on vacation in early September with my 17-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, this is the first hotel in many years that we would not like to return to. In general, everything is standard for 4 * in Egypt, and everything is in order with our mood, but we didn’t like a few things:
1. Accommodation: we arrived at 23, we were offered to pay for a good room, since we refused, we settled in the farthest building from the reception overlooking the desert. The hotel itself is built in the shape of a horseshoe, and it turned out that we didn’t walk close to eat, and the pontoon from us was the longest. If you suddenly forget something in the room - go back in the heat already broke. We didn’t go to Sea Garden at all - there’s nothing to do there at all.
2. Surprised by the lack of snacks in bars. Since we are early risers, we had breakfast at 8 am. Lunch from 12.30. And only since that time in the bars they gave either buns or fries and hamburgers. Before that, only alcohol and drinks are poured. It was more logical to go to the main restaurant for lunch. But I wanted to have a bite by 11! Therefore, I had to take something with me from breakfast, which is simply insanity in a hotel with this type of food. Although in general there are no complaints about the food, and the staff in the restaurants is very friendly. Their local sprite is simply poison, they give a normal one in the Club at the bar only.

3. Sea. Both I and the children have categories in swimming, so swimming from a pontoon is a pleasure for us, incredibly beautiful!! ! But this is Nabq, and the winds are constantly blowing there, and until 2 pm every day for 10 days of rest, the pontoon was closed due to strong waves. (by the way, in August, a guy drowned there, who independently jumped from the reef into the depths, and a wave hit him on the reef) In short, there’s nothing to do in the morning, take a steam bath if only by the pool with Germans and Italians, who almost never go to the sea .
4. Evenings. The evening animation is very weak, ends early, and then there is generally melancholy, since the hotel is located in a wasteland, there is nowhere to go, and the local booze is so disgusting, darkness... I bought a Mojito in Life for $ 8, but I couldn’t even half a glass drink, as they poured the same Sprite smelling of valerian into it. In general, I calmly manage without alcohol, I am writing this for those who, perhaps, it is important... The rest of the people mostly crowd and drink everything that is left of Duty Free. The son was hanging out in the company, My daughter and I sat in the room after 9 and played games on the tablet.
It was these moments that made the impression of the hotel, where 7 days is enough, and you should not return anymore, there are many different beautiful places in the world. We are unlikely to go to Egypt yet, we were in Israel on this trip, we booked an excursion in advance from Barakodared seatours for $ 250 for three, everything is organized perfectly, the guide is chic, the bus road was very tired, which was crowded, and it took more than 10 hours to go. So if someone goes there for such an excursion, it is better to choose a hotel closer to Taba.
That's all, if you have questions, write!
