First time in Egypt. First and foremost, despite the comments below, we had a great rest, a lot of impressions and a little miss the place where 10 bright days flew by. But, as with everything, there are BUT ...

The hotel area is very large - in fact, not one hotel, but three - Sea Club (5 *), Sea Life (4 *), Sea Garden. We studied for two days. Sea Life is the most beautiful, in our opinion a very successful combination of architecture and landscape design. All day pleasing to the eye. It makes no sense to overpay for the Sea Club (5 *) - restaurants, beaches are in the general use of the inhabitants of three hotels, that is, "everything is yours. " Each of the three hotels has a very decent pool. The room was about 30 sq. m. with a sea view purchased at the reception for $ 20. Quite comfortable and clean, cleaned every day.

Now about something without which all inc is not imagined, about food and drink, of course. Probably the commonplace on this forum "you will not die of hunger" is the most concise presentation of the situation.
No matter how much there is, but no matter how much the choice is not so great, and everything is repeated every day. There is a problem with meat - everything is tough to hell, even a chicken leg, some kind of villains, or maybe just a difference in mentality. But in general, everything is fine and each time I swore that I would be more restrained in the next meal, either in relation to sweets, or to wine or beer, or something else.

About the staff. The bastards spoiled the mood, it was. It’s more about young guys under 25. Fucking jokes (at breakfast: coffee net, tea net, drink Russian vodka), attempts to start some familiar conversations, and sometimes just rudeness. It helped to take a photo on the phone and threaten the staff manager - they became bunnies. Once they really complained to the "superior", they apologized. They do not like Russians, it looks like some kind of complex. Starshaki just learned to hide it. We are actually Ukrainians, but they did not make a difference - "Russian".
In fairness, it should be noted that the former compatriots, of whom there were 80% around, behaved absolutely decently, did not "bull" and did not give the Egyptians any reason not to love them, including us. In reality, all this could not be noticed, BUT ...

About animation. Beach volleyball, water polo, aqua aerobics, yoga, boccia - in the daily standard set. Evening shows are below criticism, although the amphitheater was always almost full. Probably everyone is getting a little dumber from the heat - it was 40 in the afternoon.

Now about the sea, or rather about the opportunity to communicate with it. The most conflicting feelings. On the one hand you have 400m of beach, and on the other there is nowhere to swim. Two lagoons 20m by 20m deep to the hip or from a pontoon 150m long, but there are immediately 20 meters deep. For bad swimmers - a problem. The specifics of the place where the hotel is located, Nabq Bay - constant winds and tidal currents, as a result, the pontoon was often simply closed before lunch.
We went to the public beach in Sharks Bay (paid, cost $ 17 with the road) - a completely different topic. The bay is protected from the wind, there is no surf breaking on the reef. The pontoon is much shorter - 40m versus 150m, which means less depth, about 5m and a light sandy bottom. The reef there is also more interesting - winding with corridors, more colorful. In Sea Life, on the other hand, it is straight and sheer, floating like along a high-rise building. The pontoon itself in Sea Life, unfortunately, is not the most convenient. You have to go down into the water along two rusty metal ladders 0.8 m wide while warming up with those coming out of the water. The pontoon is one for three hotels, which means there are pandemoniums. For those who do not feel very confident on the water, it would probably be worth looking for a hotel with the possibility of a sandy entrance to the sea. In addition, the experience of a trip to the beach in Sharks Bay speaks of the existence of more convenient places for both swimming and diving.

And in real life, everything was great ...
Have a good rest everyone.
