I was in Egypt 13 times, I thought that the reviews, as always, were half-truth: in this country, the number of stars does not determine the quality. I was mentally prepared for the fact that I was going to the budget five. But to such. . . It all started with the check-in: I contacted the hotel in advance and asked for accommodation in the main building and, if possible, with a view of the sea, I received an answer that all our wishes were taken into account. Don't believe!! ! Upon arrival, they put dollars in the passport and added "Alenka" - nothing helped! Think about it: is it worth paying for what you don’t get! We tried to solve the problem through the guide "Brisco" Besima - the result was zero, everything was explained by his phrase "How many times have I heard this phrase! (I said that in Egypt 13 times). Even the fact that I said that I myself work in a travel agency did not help - only teased later. We waited for check-in until 14.00, they put on bracelets at 9.30. They didn’t let them in for breakfast (we arrived at the hotel at 8.00), they asked for 10 bucks per person. After going to the beach in the hope of finding some kind of snack, we experienced a real shock: the beach bar is terrible, just a stand under a canopy with a huge queue, there are no tables at all! I tried to ask what time the snack would be - the bartender pretended not to understand and made faces. And it's 5 stars!! ! A tourist who came up said that it was always like this here, which they later became convinced of. . . The receptionist returned and asked the guide to move us to another hotel, albeit with an additional charge. The answer was received only the next day: there are no places anywhere! And despite the fact that since May 3, Briscoe has thrown out a fortune of 35 thousand. (12 days) If we paid so much for this hotel - there would be no complaints! And for the price 2 times more, I would still like some level of service !! ! The shock was from the restaurant: first to find a place, then devices - I have never seen anything like this !! ! And you also had to find food: everything was very scarce and poorly cooked, tomatoes and cucumbers had to be guarded - they sorted it out! Salads have never been taken anywhere - even more so here: the ingredients are strange and the smell is terrible. There was a grill, but not every day, ice cream was given strictly 2 microscopic cones in hand and also only until the middle of the holiday, then it disappeared. . . took 1 time. Birds and flies fly in restaurants, some chairs are dirty. . . We didn’t go to a la carte restaurants, the queues for registration were huge. The beach is like in our south - everyone was lying back to back, our tourists occupy them, it seems, since the night, at 7.30 there are no more sunbeds !! ! We sunbathed on Gardena Beach, on a hill, there is more freedom, next to a bar where you can take only soft drinks. Animation on the beach works for itself: only they dance club dances, tourists do not participate. There is no program for the evening anywhere: you can find out only the day after the day, if you ask the animators. Never went. In general, this was the first time that we waited for the end of the vacation and left without regret! All the time I wanted to ask the owners of the hotel: how could such a resource be ruined? After all, all the problems are in the work of the staff! Change the chef, train the staff in promptness and courtesy - and there will be a great hotel for your money! And so everyone works according to the principle "Every gopher in the field is an agronomist", i. e. . does what he wants: if he wants, he will give beer, if he wants he won’t, but there is always something for sale; the cocktail card is for beauty - all the same, if he does, then "get off". From the positive: number, territory. The sea - only from the pontoon, to all interesting places - only a taxi, very expensive and without bargaining. In general, I do not recommend to those who have already been in 5 and 4 star hotels, you will be disappointed. A hotel for beginners or those who only care about the reef - it is good here.
