In early April 2018 we went to Sharm El Sheikh and stayed at the Continental Plaza Aqua Beach 5* hotel. Then the fun began:

We arrived around 9:00 am, check-in at 2:00 pm. They didn’t want to pay for early check-in, they waited to see the room, and then decide. (Although there were those who paid, someone paid extra $60, someone less, but in the end they also settled at 2 o'clock).

The room was terribly dirty. The bed from the previous tenants remained, dirty, wrinkled. When they told the cleaner about this, he changed the pillowcases, and then, one was with a hole, then, at my request, he went for duvet covers, but did not take the sheets. Well, the third time I sent him for sheets, although he was extremely surprised why they should be changed. There is a lot of dust in the room, well, this is not critical, I was killed by a dirty toilet, a leaking shower and a hole in the ceiling. The pressure in the tap was very small, and then the water disappeared altogether. We called the reception 3 times. We solved all these problems until 17.00. We didn't even see the sea anymore.
After scandals and screams at the reception, we were promised to be moved to a better room in 2 days at 15.00. But even here they distinguished themselves: when they arrived at 15.00, we were told to come at 16.00. Let's do it! They came again, gave the key to the room and that's it!! ! No holding, no telling where he is, no apology. Nothing at all. The second room was better, cleaner, with a sea view. The downside was the lack of hot water.
Further more interesting! Nutrition. The food is not tasty, the salads are missing, even one man was taken to the hospital with food poisoning. The queue is huge, like in a canteen. Tables are dirty, crockery is broken. Horror is still the same. But they have 5 stars. When I asked why their salads were missing, I received a brilliant answer: "A head of cabbage. "
Internet. There is no wi-fi anywhere, only in the lobby. And then with a terrible speed, in the morning it works more or less, in the evening it does not connect at all.
Then there was the incident with the key cards. In the entire hotel, in most of its part, the room did not open. We all went to the reception together, they magnetized the cards for us again, and then the story repeated itself, because they also did not work.
Entertainment. In the aqua park there was one group of slides, the rest were dismantled. There was no stage, no tennis court either. Table tennis is 1 table in the bar, which is always a big queue.
When it was time for departure, lunch boxes were collected for us. It would be better if they didn't. 1 container with 3 suspicious buns, another with a spoonful of boiled carrot salad and something else. And crushed banana and orange.
When we handed over the key, we didn’t hear either “Thank you, ” or “Good road, ” or “Come again, ” but the dude said, “Wrap up the suitcase? ”
Their territory is huge and beautiful, the staff is poor, they freeze, they pretend to be fools and ask for money.
