As usual, I was looking for a budget hotel, but so that my minimum (interesting coral reef, calm sea, private beach, good water supply and normal food) were available. I thought about going to where I was, but the policy of hotels is constantly changing (either the owner has changed, then there are no places at 4, and the price goes off scale at 5), so I trusted my permanent Pilgrim agency to choose a hotel for me according to my interests. Of course, I wanted to be closer to the Old City, but it didn’t work out, I couldn’t walk on foot, so this year I didn’t enjoy soup with seafood from Farez. But I don’t even regret it, because the “sea soup” of the reef at this hotel is simply magnificent.
Immediately about the main thing. REEF. Wonderful and if you sail towards the Hyatt hotel, it only gets better. The 2 hour swims were great. Especially when a company of snork lovers is selected. This is an ideal place for snorkellers (well, divers, I guess). I met interesting people who, for many years, have been coming here to snorkel, and for them this is the best place. In addition to a huge number of fish, fish Napoleon Grisha comes here - he is magnificent. There are two smaller Napoleonchiks. There was also an irresistible mustard-colored Balistod (the most aggressive Red Sea fish), I love it. And stingrays (teneura lima), and crocodile fish... and moray eels, and the bracken stingray... and not even big sharks at depth. Barracudas, something like swift trevally that preyed on small schooling fish. It's just some kind of fantasy! I had a lot of fun and saw a lot of new and interesting things.
The beach is equipped with everything you need (shower, toilet, bar, sunbeds, umbrellas). There was no crush at all, as the hotel was not completely full.

Precisely because the hotel is not full, all rooms have a sea view. Will be at the reception to extort money (20 bucks) for a settlement in a room with a sea view. Of course, perhaps for the money your view can be generally unusual, our free one was slightly spoiled by solar panels from the roof of the neighboring building, which was located below. But, I really had no time to sit on the terrace and enjoy the views, when the sea and the beach were waiting for me.
But, look at the photo of the hotel, all the buildings are deployed to the sea. Although the second empty part of the hotel behind the reception is probably not like that. Although there is a water park (not big) with warm water. Works on time. Main pool with cold water.
Therefore, we did not give money, we waited for check-in until 12 o'clock, although we were then promoted for a few dollars and a chocolate bar as a baksheesh. All my 4 chocolates are gone in the first days. They are delighted with our chocolate (I bought the most ordinary ones for 14 hryvnias in atb). The most interesting thing is that by the end of the day the whole hotel knew that I had given chocolate at the reception, and the guide from the tour operator the next day told me that they said about me that I was very kind and did not regret chocolate, hinting that chocolate would not hurt him either.
But, I already had nothing, because by the second day I had broken everything I could in the room, and there was no more small money (buying small dollars in Ukraine is just some kind of quest, chocolate is easier and cheaper). I broke the window-door to the terrace (I slept one night and did not know that the brother-in-law did not close). They fixed it very quickly. She broke the bedside table - tore off the handle. Well, there were a lot of bedside tables, so it doesn’t matter... I broke the safe twice, they quickly came and helped. Really something abstruse with a safe (free in the closet) closes and opens in completely different ways, but this is some kind of garbage.
I broke something else, I don’t remember everything, but everything was repaired for me very quickly...

And in the end, she tore her slippers with "bryuliks" (a masterpiece bought in Zatoka, because there she also tore something from her shoes, but that's another story). The repairmen who were already on duty in our building and the cleaner saw and repaired - two beautiful screws greatly simplified my movement and decorated my flip flops. In short, on the first day and the second day of chocolates and baths, dollars scattered quickly, since I, as a sapper, immediately find all the problems in the room and immediately break everything. As they say: there are women in our villages, they are affectionately called women. The galloping elephant will be stopped and his trunk will be torn off... In general, stock up on chocolates. And they go well as tips instead of dollar baths. Although the porter begged for 2 bucks.
The standard room has everything. My new acquaintances and I were settled in neighboring rooms, they said that we could even open the door between the rooms if we wanted. It was very convenient to go to the beach and to the restaurant together, to play cards too. Everything in their room worked and nothing broke, except for the clothesline in the bathroom. They also did it very quickly. But, I still advise you to take ropes with you. I dried towels and swimwear on the table and chairs on the terrace to dry quickly in the sun, as I forgot my duty rope.
Well, about the soap. They gave out a bath set (soap, shampoo). But, no hair conditioners or body lotion for you, bring it all with you. But there was a bidet, oh bidet, a dream, a dream… Not all architects know that a bidet is not a luxury, but simply a necessity, if you tried it once. Especially if the bathroom is not a shower, but a bath. By the way, I had some misunderstandings with hot water. It went in the sink, but not in the shower. The neighbors didn't. Well, let's put it down to my "lucky hand". Although of course, it was not very pleasant. Even in this hotel, where there is no strong wind and warm sea.
Cleaning. I think it's ok, I had no complaints. The cleaner also brought drinking water at 16-00 hours. The cleaner is generally constantly at the building, no need to look for something if you need it. Although the bath set replenished regularly. Swans twisted, even brought a bouquet of basil. That's what chocolate does.

Restaurant. They weren't hungry. Photos of gluttony are attached. Of course, I have wishes - more carrot salad, shredded carrots and pink suntan sauce are perfect (had one time in total). And more eggplant (little on the menu). I would like hibiscus and cocoa (I can't have coffee or tea). Do not drink orange juice - like soap with a chip (this is in the bar in the lobby). And so everything was fine - I ate a lot of fish and salads (iceberg lettuce is my weakness, and it is so expensive in Ukraine). Sweet is full, but I don’t eat it, I’m for meat. There were usually four kinds of differently prepared meat dishes (from fish, meat and poultry). There were also fruits. There were sometimes queues, it all depends on the races: sometimes nobody, sometimes huge crowds and queues. The second restaurant on the ground floor was closed.
The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Yes, at the reception on the first day they extort money for the settlement, but we did not give it. But they solve problems quickly. No complaints. Everything is decent, no one bothers, but everyone is polite. The main one on the Arafa beach is trying to entertain vacationers. If you are a beautiful woman, perhaps he will give you an individual swim on the local reef and this is just super, because it is not at all scary and interesting. And if you come to the hotel many times and with gifts, you generally have a special attitude.
From vacationers. There were only Ukrainians and Egyptians (not very many, so there was no feeling of a gypsy camp). The overall impression of the hotel - I liked it, I will be happy to come again with a bunch of chocolates.
As mentioned above, the hotel is far from the Old Town and other Soho, but an important point. Near the reception there are shops where prices will please you. Almost everything is for a van dollar. And strawberries and magnets. My favorite candies are in jars like sea pebbles for 2 dollars, although they seem to have become a little worse in taste, cocoa does not seem to be reported. Mango is certainly more expensive than 4-7 (January is not the season). But, they chose me to take and treat my home ripe in January. In a shop with oils, bargain. I went for two days and bothered the seller and was able to buy gifts at a discount. It's a pity there is no pharmacy, but we went on an excursion to the old city and bought there medicines for colds and sore throats, toothpastes for dollar baths. For counterfeit medicines in Egypt, the death penalty, so they really treat, and do not contain chalk, as in ours. So I advise you to visit Egyptian pharmacies.

Although, I’ll digress a bit and say that the checkout on departure from the airport was terrible. Some people had their toothpaste squeezed out, oils were uncorked, they were forced to open and taste jams and honey, which for some reason they dragged with them. People were brought for gifts, and everything was dug up and spoiled for them, the woman even cried. They explained to us later that we got on a commission from Russia, so there was such a “horror” with digging up luggage, feeling everything that was possible and impossible several times. They asked me if there was a bomb. Yeah, I'm such a fool to carry it with me in my luggage... I said that, unfortunately, not today, maybe tomorrow. And then people tell me that I was one step away from the prison. But, lucky, funny customs officers got caught, appreciated, laughed. They saw my hand luggage (a mixture of towels, a swimming mask, wet swimsuits from the morning swim, slippers, well, everything that didn’t fit into the suitcase, since I bought a lot of cans of sweets, mangoes for my relatives and had to stuff into my hand luggage what didn’t fit in any way in a suitcase, fins take up an awful lot of space). It looked like the luggage of a crazy woman, so they apparently disdained it and did not touch it much. In general, this time I somehow didn’t really think over my luggage, I confess, I took a lot of excess, which was not worth taking, but that’s another story. Although all this is due to stupid worries about a certificate for covid (where, how, how much... thanks to Irene for the advice - I cleaned it and rinsed it). And I spent money on additional insurance in case of non-departure due to covid, and this was also very unnerving - expenses. In general, shmon at the airport of Sharm did not greatly affect the rest, as the hotel was well received and everything went well, and the sea was like that, it couldn’t be better.
Therefore, I want to thank the hotel for a pleasant stay, I will definitely, if possible, come here again with pleasure. I even dream.
