After a couple of minutes they offered cocktails and put on bracelets. A refreshing towel was very handy and the cocktails helped to finally remember that the vacation had begun and there was no need to run anywhere else.
Then they very politely explained to us that we arrived at 9 o'clock and not all the rooms were ready yet, so we can go to have breakfast or drink coffee. They handed us hotel maps and everyone dispersed. We were looking around the main building from the reception, we did not have time to go far, as we were already found and given the keys to the room. Our guide (Russian speaking) took us straight to the room and explained everything in detail: what time does breakfast, lunch and dinner start, what kind of entertainment, etc. We got the room in the Cottage, which was located away from the beach and from the reception. At the beginning, this was a little embarrassing. The hotel is quite large and it takes about 4 minutes to walk from the cottages to the sea. But, of course, it’s not very far))) But thanks to such a good location, we were very quiet and clean) Just a park) And the cottages are called villas, in my opinion the most comfortable the numbers are in them.
We traveled as a couple and we had a single room. Not a very big room, but very comfortable. The room has a fridge and air conditioner. hair dryer, safe, TV. No deposit is required, everything works for free and without problems. After 3 minutes, an employee ran into our room and asked how we got settled, put batteries in the air conditioner remote control (as it turned out, they sat down. But we didn’t even have time to find out, everything was quickly fixed). The TV shows 15 channels somewhere, one of them is Russian - Russia planet. Another channel is the channel of the hotel. On this channel there is a constant program about entertainment in the hotel. AR writing off and that. Help in general for visitors. On the table we had a book-brochure about the hotel, a pencil and a notebook licking. Very nice in general)
By the way, the hotel is located in a protected "green zone", a reserve. Therefore, the hotel does not poison mosquitoes and flies. This is, in principle, a small minus. The first night we opened the windows, it was very hot and there was nothing to breathe. In 10 minutes, our room turned into a zoo of mosquitoes) it was completely impossible to sleep. So in the following days we turned on the air conditioner before dinner.
The water in Sharm El Sheikh is dangerous. The guides immediately warned us about this and advised us to buy bottles and nibart water in the cooler. so we did and away from sin, even brushed our teeth with water from the cooler.
The food is very good. The hotel has 3 restaurants. One by the sea. another Italian in the cottage area and another one in the main reception building. Food for every taste: as vegetarian. so no. Every day a choice of both fish and meat. There are separate fish days, when quite unusual types of fish appear, but this does not mean that meat and chicken are absent.
Their drinks are quite tasty, but alcoholic drinks are not very tasty, for an amateur. Although the alcohol is very high quality, not Egyptian (martini, expensive types of cognac) and the most interesting thing is that they do not regret it. For sure, that's why it's not tasty, a very large percentage of alcohol))
Thank God, nothing happened to us and we didn’t get poisoned by anything there, although they say that you have to be very careful with food in Egypt. They ate everything in a row. For a week they just tried everything and never had any pain)
Several times there was a mini performance at breakfast and dinner, right in the restaurant: they congratulated the birthday people. The chef came out, the waiters sang songs and played the drums. In the end, everyone already knew us by name and constantly asked how we were doing) They are not annoying, as many say again. They just say hello, sometimes they ask how you are doing. But nothing more. The waiters constantly helped to bring hot tea and coffee, in general very friendly. If you behave culturally, then only positive memories of them will remain)
The animation was pretty good too. In the morning, aerobics in the pool, stretching, and much more, we just didn’t visit. We swam in the sea)
And in the evening there is a very fun disco for children. All the children were very pleased with her, their parents let them go, and they themselves sat and drank cocktails. The children, exhausted, went to sleep. and the happy parents went to the night discos) In general, the children's disco is very family friendly. Because, in the end, even the parents danced with their children and enjoyed the performance after)
Now about the sea) I do not advise you to take any excursions on ships. All ships stopped at our beach. Accordingly, this beach has the most beautiful corals and fish. There is simply nothing to do there without a mask, because there are sooo many fish there.
Masks and fins can be rented, leaving money as a pledge. That is, equipment is given free of charge. But you bought it yourself. one mask cost us $ 80. In general, slippers (crocs) are not needed, the corals to which you can swim without scuba gear are smooth. But since I was afraid of fish and corals for a long time, we bought them, in principle, we did not regret it. If small striped fish and some other fish swim near the shore)), then larger fish meet deeper, about half a meter. but they swim and do not touch people, though they are not afraid. they have their own sea current. Where the "edge" of corals begins, there are a lot of hedgehogs, they hide in the pits and you can see their needles) And near the coast, where about 2 meters and sand (rare corals) there are rays. a little scary, but they also do not touch people))
I really enjoyed my vacation, only bright and positive memories remained. When we left and collected people from 6 other nearby hotels, we realized that ours is the most modern and cleanest.
