I approached the choice of hotel very meticulously. read a lot of reviews on sites and our and foreign. stopped at Fanari and did not regret it. we were met by a girl from the video Turtessa, told everything in Russian, suitcases were brought to the room (we lived in a bungalow type FAMILY ROOM - living room with TV, 1 bed and sofa, table and bedroom), the manager who took us out of tips completely refused, shook hand and quietly walked away bowing. all 7 days flew by as one. the service is very unobtrusive. the hotel had completely different people - America, Canada, France, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, a little Russia and Ukraine. there were also local vacationers - most likely from the CIS. in terms of food - everything was great and very tasty and varied - from meat: beef, veal, duck, lamb, chicken… various sausages, cheeses, sliced…
many sauces. . fish of two species are cooked differently. lots of fresh vegetables, various side dishes - potatoes, rice, pasta, grilled vegetables, baked goods, french fries, etc. of the fruits we ate white and red grapes, there were melons (usually for breakfast and lunch) and watermelon (lunch and dinner), apples, bananas, oranges, grapefruit. baking is self-evident. never ate anything that would be tasteless. the staff is very friendly and you don't feel like you're at McDonald's when they smile at you because you NEED it. the beach is clean - beautiful sand. reefs are small in area, but there are many fish around. on the nearby beach pontoon - there is a serious reef and the depth is serious - you can just look from above and take pictures, and you can dive for scuba diving enthusiasts. in the evening at the hotel a disco for children, a show in the amphitheater and a disco for adults. we went to rest - we did great.
regarding excursions - this hotel is for sale from Turtes, we went with them on 1 excursion, and took the second from a local Egyptian tour operator. everything went quite well and we didn't feel any difference. so the stories of the guide at the hotel that the horror of horror, you leave, you will not finish, the impression will be spoiled - nonsense. if you go with the thought that everything is bad - so be it. and if you tune in to everything good, that's what will happen. we rode with a smile and never regretted anything. I do not understand that the standard of living in Poland seems to be higher, and the prices for them here are cheaper? ? ? apparently a situational approach. they love CIS people with their generous soul ...but feel the difference. there were 5 of us in the group - that's $ 525 for a second stupidly in the pocket of a guide. from there they build beautiful villas on the first line - not worse than the hotels where we rest. soap! I liked everything. from the hotel to the city there is a shuttle at 10 and 12 days (free) then at 14.16 and 18 for money.
