Regarding the rooms, there is a clear distinction both in the names of the rooms and in price (depending on the distance to the sea). The farthest are simple “rooms” with 3-digit numbers, it takes 5-8 minutes to go to the sea. (2-storey buildings), we got a room on the 2nd floor with two balconies. It turns out that there are rooms without balconies and terraces at all, as we later learned from friends. I think this is solvable. The rooms there are SMALL, we were warned about this, so we were ready that the room would get a simple one. There is no bath, there is a shower. A little closer to the sea - villas (more expensive). even closer to the sea - rooms by the large pool with 4-digit numbers (even more expensive). In general, I will say that at first we were not delighted, we felt all the charm later.
Good food, service and polite staff. There were no problems with the appliances in the restaurant either, there were no queues. Ice cream is always for lunch, AI in this hotel is not only yuppies and alcohol. local drinks, but also milkshakes (see children's menu). Pts. it’s nice to have dinner in a restaurant by the large pool with live music (minimum 3 rubles per week) (you can also dance), after dinner - show program (do not expect much), after the show program - disco until 00:30. For onlookers, there is a late breakfast and lunch where you can have a bite to eat. Animation is all around the large pool (they do not speak Russian). I would highlight: archery, water polo and volleyball (every day). They teach the simple basics of salsa and oriental. dancing. My advice: participate in animation, then the rest becomes much brighter, and calories are burned! Pts. it's funny to watch how different nationalities play water polo and sing karaoke : ) Animators: a man from Tunisia (on whom all the animation rests), and, completely without emotion, girls who somehow work out... You go to the sea through the green area along which the rooms are located (5 min), and then you go down (on steps or a small mountain) to the sea (1 min). It didn't tire us. It was tiring to go up to the toilet and, of course, suspicions arise... do children suffer? . . The sea is beautiful, transparent. Thousands of fish painted in all colors of the rainbow managed to see a stingray and a moray eel. Entry from the sand, where you can frolic, not being afraid to step on a hedgehog or coral, swimming a little further - corals, then depth. Masks and snorkels can be borrowed free of charge, leaving a deposit. If you want to sunbathe right next to the sea (the first 2 rows), then you have to get up early, otherwise there is enough space. If the skin is light, be careful. We burned out in the harmful sun with creams and under umbrellas. Start sunbathing if at lunchtime, then near the pool, there are more serious awnings, at the same time get acquainted with the animation. In the sea many ships. It was not windy (probably due to the specific location of the bay).
My rating: the hotel is better than some 5 *, the hotel is suitable for both young people and families with children.
WARNING: there is a strong current to the left of the beach behind the pontoon and the pipe (you may not swim out), and at lunchtime the tide is low - swim where it is very shallow above the corals (if you swim at lunchtime, you will get carried away for an hour, it imperceptibly becomes much smaller and even light waves can "tear » About corals. . . Check underwater cases for cameras - they sell 2 types (we bargained) for $12 and $22 (it was not screwed around the lens and water penetrated after a while), although many people swim with them, just you need to be more careful. Probably better to buy for $12 - it's cast, there is no twist in the lens. Better yet, rent an underwater camera (half a day $31), the pictures came out great, I will definitely add to the review. Do not touch, and even more so don't stand on the corals, they die when touched. . .
TIP: get up early and enjoy the morning snorkeling (you can see a lot of interesting things), take a t-shirt to swim without burning and sunscreen (at least 30). Waterproof watches (so as not to miss lunch) and optional souvenirs for the Egyptians (honey, chocolate, paper money, etc. ), it's easier to bargain : ). If you change money, it is more profitable in a hotel than in the center. Don’t be pigs, because there are urns (there were just “individuals” where they weren’t expected), don’t “bull”, because a couple of moral freaks can make a bad impression about the whole nation...
