We decided to spend our 13th vacation in Egypt with a big company at the Jaz Fanara Resort. I really wanted to understand why a 4-star hotel keeps a price that is not inferior to many five-star hotels.
We rested with a company of 6 adults and 2 children from December 6 to December 12.2020. The unanimous decision of our company - the hotel deserves 5 stars!!!
1. Arrived early in the morning, immediately put on bracelets (soft satin ribbons, unlike plastic) and sent for breakfast. After breakfast, they offered to check into rooms overlooking the road now, or a little later, but overlooking the Reef Oasis Beach Hotel. We decided to wait, because the right side of the reception was closer to the descent to the beach. Superior rooms, had to wait almost until 14-30, but it was worth it! The rooms are large, with bathrobes and slippers, a beach bag with beach towels, a tea set, a minibar for an additional fee (we refused it and asked to clean everything, because

We were going to keep the fish in the refrigerator, which we always take with us for beer). Cleaning was every day, towels were changed, fresh beach towels were brought to the room in the evening, 1-2 one and a half liter bottles of water were left every day. All electrical appliances worked properly, but the air conditioner was very noisy. In the winter we turn it off at night. For those who are going in the summer - immediately check the air conditioner for noise. Hot water in the morning is not very hot, you had to wait until it drains, toiletries in the form of hair conditioner and body lotion were replenished regularly, body gel and shampoo in one bottle were present in the shower. There is a toilet with a bidet function.
2. The food is not to say that it is very varied, but everything is very tasty. Beef, chicken, fish, salads in different variations, 2-3 types each. From fruits: oranges, cut pomegranate, guava, apples, dates of varying degrees of maturity, grapefruits, bananas, dried fruits.
Desserts are very tasty and varied. Pleased on Thursday "fish day". From seafood there were delicious squids in several forms, tiger prawns, crabs, fish sticks. Alcoholic drinks - for all tastes, although we prefer wine. Bartenders are not greedy - they constantly ask and pour. Beer at the beach bar is poured into small paper cups. (We have also prepared for this and have been carrying 0.5l plastic glasses with us for a long time). Since we are lovers of beer with a snack, we also take it from home, although at the bar they sometimes gave bags of chips. Packed mango and guava juices are available at the canteen and bars. Very tasty coffee both brewed and from vending machines.

3. Territory - large, beautiful, green, well-groomed. Pleased with the presence of benches, sun loungers on the lawns, a lot of photo zones. In the evening - gorgeous sunsets.
The hotel adheres to a healthy concept, which is probably why mosquitoes are not poisoned, be sure to take fumigators with you to the rooms and a mosquito sprayer for evening walks.

4. The beach is small, the sun loungers are very close to each other. Descent down steep stairs or serpentine, get ready for marathon distances. ))) There is no pontoon, the entry into the sea is sandy, but be careful, we met stingrays right on the shore! The reef is wonderful, you swim out in the center, where there is a big red buoy - and you can swim in both directions. I managed to see a large moray eel, pintail rays, not counting any other “little things”. The reef is alive, there are very picturesque islands, just like in cartoons, with live sea anemones and parrot fish. The main disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of a toilet on the beach, you had to climb stairs or serpentine to the pool level.

5. Fruit shopping for us took place behind the center for 1001 nights.
Right on the corner, Misha trades, who used to be not a miser, but now calls himself Misha the Collective Farmer. Mango for 1.3 bucks a kilo, ashta for 4. Strawberries, figs for 1 dollar per pack.
6. We have already visited almost all excursions in Sharm, so the hotel guide was very upset by our refusal to go anywhere. We took parasailing flights from friends who have a licensed travel company in Sharm. We went by taxi to Mahoney's restaurant in Naama Bay for $10 each way per car.
7. Internet is available throughout the territory, but very weak, so we bought a local card without a number with 16 GB of Internet for $ 10 at the airport.

8. The animation is quite active: exercises, yoga, water aerobics, volleyball, water polo. And all this instigator-animator with a name similar to Roman, but everyone called him Snickers. A very colorful young man, lively.
In the evening, live music at the bar and all kinds of entertainment events in the show time zone.

9. There is one a la carte restaurant. For 6 nights of stay we had 1 free visit. Recording day to day near the reception from 10-00 to 11-00, they took almost all the dishes from the menu, everything is very tasty, the portions are large, you can visit once.
Anti-epidemic measures are strictly observed. There are antiseptics everywhere, all the staff wear masks, and in the kitchen they also wear gloves. In the dining room and on the territory of the hotel they are allowed only after measuring the temperature.
We almost had the perfect holiday. The hotel definitely deserves another star. (Provided that there will be a toilet on the beach). For myself, I determined the status of the hotel - sincere. A lot of features that were found only in this hotel and give it a very soulful atmosphere.

In general, we had a nice rest, which we wish everyone!! !
