All in all, a good, relaxing stay.

Hotel ratings by criteria:
The three of us (husband, me and a 6-year-old son) rested in early March 2008. For three they paid 1995 USD. For water, lunches, chips from the bar, etc. paid extra 100 c. u.
Location (excellent)
To Naama Bay (and not to the path along the beaches) 30-40 minutes walking step. And this is the biggest plus of the hotel!!! ! Taxi has never been used, so I can not say the cost. We were the first to be picked up from the airport.
On the territory there are shops with souvenirs, gold, kodak (photo printing is 3 times more expensive than in Ukraine).
Territory (good)
The territory is large enough, but still, as it were, not completely landscaped, although the hotel is no longer new. Very confusing - all steps, floors, levels, sectors. And as a result, there is nowhere special to take a walk - the bulk of the territory is occupied by buildings. The only path you can walk on is the path towards Naama Bay. Landscaping and there is quite simple for 5 stars.
Number (good)

Normal (what do they all have to do with it, the only exception is a luxury building, standing aside from the main buildings; there are no separate bungalows, no chalets), a rather small room: a bed, a bedside table, a dressing table and a closet (between which two people will no longer miss each other) , a balcony overlooking the sea-pool (this is the same in all rooms), and a very tiny bathroom: shower, washbasin and toilet. They gave me a room immediately with separate beds (as it turned out, there are very few rooms with a double bed). After 20 calls to the reception, they were moved and covered with a separate place for the child. Plus - the unusual Arabic style of the rooms, although someone on the contrary will not like it. But, in my opinion, stylish, although a little old already.
Another good thing is the presence of a FREE safe (well, at least something there should be free) in the room.
Service (good)
The staff speaks Russian with difficulty, unlike other 5-ok. Clumsy knowledge of English helped a lot!! ! There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception, very polite and smiling, for some reason they don’t take money. The room was cleaned cleanly, but without showing off. Those. for tips, surprises in the form of curly towels or a vase of flowers, we did not wait for a week. The staff is not rude, they always say hello, but they don’t feel much joy about our presence (there is something to compare with! )
As in many foreign hotels in the restaurant, Russians are the last to be approached. There was one dinner when we did not wait for the waiter with drinks. But nothing, you can live, in principle, . .
Food (excellent)
The cuisine is varied (in the main restaurant) - every day a new style: either Italian, or Mexican, or Arabic. They cook very tasty (I advise you to try pancakes and sweets - this is something !!! ), but for some reason my body did not accept the kitchen, although everything was fine in other hotels. Drinks are included at breakfast only, at dinner they are charged to the room. Water costs 16 tugriks (like cola, and sprite and everything else), outside the hotel - 4 tugriks. But you still won’t bring it to the restaurant. However, like food from a restaurant (fruits or buns for a child, for example), you can’t take it out either - everything is for a fee.
Near the pool bar where you can dine, also quite tasty. The lack of an all-inclusive system is a little annoying, especially if you are traveling with a child or like to sleep until 10-11 . .
We didn’t go to a la carte restaurants, where you need to sign up in advance, and we are unpredictable people. There is 24 hour room service.
Sports (medium)

There are football, volleyball, and some other fields, everything else is located outside the hotel, so we didn’t go there. Near the pool you can take a bicycle or a scooter for a child (30 pounds per hour).
Sea/beach (excellent)
There are really 4 beaches there, but only 1 is sandy, it is also the largest and has a bar, so the majority of vacationers hang out there. Loungers, umbrellas would do well to update. The mattresses are torn, dirty... The slopes to the beaches are steep, especially on 1 and 2.
Well, you will be able to see enough of the fish without much difficulty - the pantones there are really not big, but there are no special bridges. Swimming it is not difficult, but at low tide you can scratch your belly on corals. . . Just in case, buy slippers and don't suffer.
Swimming pool (excellent)
Very large, multi-level (from 0.4 to 2 m deep), heated. There are a lot of sunbeds, but foreigners occupy them with towels from 6 in the morning - annoying to the point of horror !! ! The pool is so big that even despite the large number of people there, no one interferes with anyone - and this is insanely pleasing.
Animation, entertainment (intermediate)
Every day the same thing... Fat uncles and aunts (the hotel is not a youth hotel) jump and lift their legs and arms on the beach, then crawl into the pool for aqua aerobics with the whole friendly crowd and jump already there to the music, then an Arab of incomprehensible orientation in light green leggings and an orange bandage on her thigh teaches 80-kg aunts how to dance belly dance (a spectacle, I tell you, not for the faint of heart). In the evening, a disco is held in the Zeno Cafe, but since there are practically no young people in hotels, the disco is appropriate. That, in my opinion, is the whole animation... The list is long there, but I didn’t see anything else.
Children (horrible! )

There really is a children's room there, but out of 7 days it worked only 2. There is no one in the room, except for two tables and chairs for them. The playground with swings is very small and is designed for very tiny children (up to 3 years old). Plus - there is a paddling pool with a canopy and loungers (adults and children), but our 6-year-old son refused to climb there - not knowing how to swim, he was near us as an adult. At 20:30 (or so) every day except Saturday, a children's disco begins, which lasts ALREADY 15 minutes. the idea is that the children are lined up on the stage and, to the same music, they repeat the same movements every day for some ugly, shabby dog ... that day 4, our kinder began to howl with boredom.
Let's summarize:
In general, I am satisfied with the rest: what they wanted (5 stars near Naama Bay), they got it. But the hotel does not pull on a "good 5 stars" (as it is positioned), whatever one may say. Rustic, old, scanty, boring (I repeat, we have something to compare with). The second time I would not go there. IMHO.
